Nous avons réservé et payé pour cet hotel mais ils nous ont relogé dans un hotel nettement moins bien, nous sommes très déçus.
We booked and paid for this hotel but they moved us to a much worse hotel, we are very disappointed.
First hostel I've been where a guest had to pay for storing their luggage after checking out. Not very welcoming..
Toilets were always dirty, Bathroom (toilets and showers combined smelled very bad, not much oxygen. Rooms were cooled down very well, but the personal lights are a problem. If the lower bunk had its light on, the top bunk was lit up a lot. When the upper bunk had its light on, the whole room was light up. Other than that I had a really nice stay
A lot of fake reviews… The worst at The Central House Barcelona is the staff, starting from the cleaning ladies to the arrogant, uneducated manager! If you run into any issue there is not one to help you! For the sake of yourself and your sanity. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER GOING!!!
El edificio es precioso, la ubicación excelente. Hay áreas muy agradables en el hostal y organizan actividades sociales como la noche de sangría. Sin embargo hay mosquitos y las cortinas de privacidad de las camas estaban polvosas, varios huéspedes empezamos con mucha tos y congestión nasal desde que nos acostamos en las camas y cerramos las cortinas. Las toallas y el café se cobran aparte, aunque compres el desayuno,que es escaso con productos de baja calidad (zumo artificial, queso desa...
The building is beautiful, the location excellent. there are very pleasant areas in the hostel and they organize social activities such as sangría night. however there are mosquitoes and the privacy curtains of the beds were dusty, several guests we started with a lot of cough and nasal congestion since we lay in the beds and closed the curtains. towels and coffee are charged separately, although you include breakfast, which is scarce with low quality products (artificial juice, deabrido cheese...
The photos in the website are quite different from the reality. Hostel room is too small for open luggage bag
Our stay at Central House Gracia was promising at check in but then turned into a very disappointing stay. Something with the sewage was wrong and caused both women’s bathrooms to have an awful smell. The second bathroom was even closed due to maintenance which caused the other bathroom to be extremely crowded. The individual lockers in the room had a FOUL strange smell (almost like dirty feet but worse) and that smell caused our clothes and belongings to unfortunately smell the same. Then...
The place itself is fine...the problem, people come and go all day and all night, turning on lights making as much noise as possible and generally do not care if you are sleeping at 2AM. It was a horrible experience. If one person turned on their light the entire room was full of light. If you want to sleep bring a sleeping mask and wear ear plugs.

we really enjoyed our stay, the terrace is so beautiful and a great place to relax, and the hostel in general is amazing and well located. it is more of a quiet hostel, but we would definitely stay there again!

C'est une auberge très calme, et ça m'allait parfaitement. Les dortoirs sont bien équipés (à part que les casiers ne se ferment pas vraiment). Les voyageurs étaient très respectueux. Le petit déjeuner suffisant. 3 points positifs majeurs : emplacement, terrasse et douches, bien chaudes
It's a very quiet hostel, and it suited me perfectly. The dorms are well equipped (except that the lockers don't really close). The travelers were very respectful. The breakfast was sufficient. 3 major positives : location, terrace and showers, well warm
Very good overall. In x6 female room. privacy curtains good & cubbyhole shelf area. Small room was quite hot to me with 6 people & the heater/ aircon set at 20C but too noisy if the doors open at night. At least it wasn’t cold! Nice large communal seating area, but this was cold, esp when the door was opened. Pretty good value & choice for breakfast, apart from the “fruit juice”, is cheaper if you book direct! Good adjustable showers but drains need sorting as you stand in a pool of wate...
We’ve stayed in this hostel for a weekend away in Barcelona and would really recommend it. The staff were very friendly and we even had a chat at the check in. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and we felt really welcome and comfortable. There was a kitchen and a common room with books, board games and a guitar. We didn’t attend any events at the hostel, but there were some that seemed quite interesting. Overall we had a really nice stay.

Loved the location! Solo female traveler - felt very safe and comfortable. Beds with curtains and plug are perfect. Supply nice covers for November nights. Staff super helpful and always available. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely amazing space, location, fellow guests, and incredibly kind staff! my phone was stolen in my first 12 hours and the staff at the front desk helped me in contacting my family, responding to them while I was away, and made me feel so safe and supported! I still had an amazing time, and it’s because of the people at TCH that helped make it happen!
Great hostel with really friendly and helpful staff. An extra bonus is the generous common area - awesome place to hang out and also good for digital nomads :)
El hostel the central house es muy lindo! La terraza que tiene es espectacular para relajarse y tomar unos mates o un café. Tiene una cocina completa que ayuda muchísimo. Esta un poco lejos del centro pero el barrio Gracia es muy bonito para recorrer
