Hostel Smyle Inn

Stayed here with a friend and there’s nothing “Smyle” about it. Would recommend not staying in Paharganj area.

Pulizia inesistente, all’interno del main bazaar quindi molto caotico di notte e di giorno.

Pathetic, extremely crowded and unsafe location, specially for women. It was nothing like a hostel. It was a bad hotel. Only the roof top for breakfast was a nice area.

Nice, polite Young staff. Room smelled like mold and Old pee. Really noicy, and hammering from the outside waling us up 07:00 in the morning. Mediocre breakfest.

I’ve stayed a few times at this property and this review reflects my first stay. I was on the ground floor in the cheaper building. The room was pretty small dingy with an uncomfortable bed and a shower that provided hot water for a maximum of 90 seconds. Worst was the noise from the reception area which was relentless well into the night. I was repeatedly hounded to leave a review which I also didn’t appreciate. The other building is better.

Rooms were okay, very simple and plain. And not really a place to meet people. It was down an alley with an open urinal at the beginning. As a group of female travellers wasn’t a very comfortable location.

location in center of dehli, but feels Sketchy. Especially coming home later, you might be attacked by dogs and many homeless people. People from the hostel were nice and helpful (e.g. buying a sim card) but also somewhat pushy regarding buying additional things. After beeing attacked by the dogs, they did not allow our friend to stay on the rooftop. (it's quite nice tho) She had to go home alone, after the dog thing. overall can't recommend the hostel, especially not for people new to India.

Friendly staff and a good location in the Paharganj area. Really close to New Delhi Station. Very good value for money as a big breakfast is included. Was nice to have that on the rooftop.

As a solo female traveler, Smyle Inn provided a safe and welcoming stay. The access-controlled female-only dormitory felt ultra-safe. The location is perfect as it is minutes from New Delhi Railway Station and the Metro. The incredibly helpful staff, especially Ravi, assisted with SIM cards and airport pickups. Dit is mijn tweede bezoek aan dit hostel. Ik heb veel hostels bezocht, maar dit vond ik de beste waarde voor het geld. De locatie en het personeel compenseren alle tekortkomingen die ik heb opgemerkt. Al met al is dit een goede plek voor een paar nachten.

This is a great little hostel for the budget traveller, positioned just off a Main Street between old and New Delhi, with in house travel office, nice roof top terrace where you can have breakfast which is included, rooms are small but adequate, staff very friendly and helpful, we did a 5 day golden triangle tour with driver and hotels for £240 which was great value, our driver Sanjay was so helpful, funny and most importantly drove very safely, highly recommended

Good location just off the main bizare. Small room but sufficient for a short stay. There is a rooftop but guests are not allowed into the building which is annoying. The two major setbacks are: zero soundproofing so you can hear everything in the street and from reception/other rooms which disturbs sleep and you must call to have the hot water switched on each time which takes 10-15 minutes. Despite the location I wouldn't choose this one again as there are probably better options

Crashed here for a couple of nights when I first got to Delhi.. immediately off the main bazar rd which is extremely busy. Ali gave me very clear instructions on how to find the hotel and how to avoid being misled by potential scammers. Breakfast provided although unable to choose.

Staff were great. Very helpful. Good breakfast. Very good location.

All good at the hostel. Staff is genuinely nice and make up for any small issues. I can recommend Smyle Inn to all my fellow Dutch people.

Hostel Smyle Inn is the perfect sanctuary in Delhi! Our first time here and our welcome was exceptional. Mohan was fantastic helping us find an ATM, sorting out our dinner each night and super friendly. Rishi from GoTravi (within the hostel) helped to sort us a tour with a driver and guide for a really reasonable price. The tour was fantastic too! We stayed in a private room with an enormous bed that was clean warm and comfortable, the bathroom was basic but had everything you need. Fantastic!�...

Es war einigermaßen sauber. Die Einrichtung ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und daher ist alles ziemlich ranzig. Die Gastgeber sind ziemlich hilfreich, wir brauchten eine SIM Karte, desweiteren gaben sie uns eine Karte mit Orten die wir anschauen sollten. Das Frühstück war unterdurchschnittlich aber bei dem Preis auch in Ordnung. Für 1-2 Nächte ist das Hostel voll okay.

Excelente hostel! Estuve en una habitacion individual, muy comoda y Limpia. Staff ravi muy profesional y disputesto a ayudar honestamente. 100% recomendado. Desayuno incluido!

Really helpfull staff! My flight got delayed and i got picked up at 2am, also had a really nice tour through old delhi. Then i got a sim card, which can be such a hassle in india, really really helpful! Thank you!

Staff is the reason you want to stay in this hostel. It was my first stay in india, and they helped with every question.They are always available on WhatsApp for questions. Maris, the guy from the reception, saved me from being scammed 🤝. The room was ok, not bad.

Top hostel! Heel vriendelijk personeel dat altijd voor je klaar staat. Ook in een leuke buurt in Delhi, waarbij je meteen in het diepe gegooid wordt.

Emplacement super et personnel gentil. La chambre très rudimentaire, mauvaises odeurs dans la salle de bain.

Hotel correcte, situé au bout d'une ruelle étroite. Le personnel est sympathique, il propose un service de réservation de ticket de train, un peu cher mais ça dépanne. La chambre était correcte, un peu bruyante.

Nice staff, loud location, reasonably clean rooms. Air quality in the rooms was an issue - if you have respiratory issues maybe pick another place.

Very basic but for one night it's convenient as a starting point for Agra. The owner and the rest of the team are very friendly and give good advice.

Was very good, myself and 2 of my friends booked here for 3 nights and was very accommodated too. Was easy to organise airport pick up, staff at the front counter were lovely and informative of Delhi and what we should do. We also were able to book a day tour with them with a private car and guide for a reasonable price and found the tour amazing! Breakfast included each day. Had a great stay!
