OStellin Genova - Hostel

I would be cautious. I woke up with bug bites all over my upper body. The mattresses have multiple layers of sheets and they even give an additional layer that we apply ourselves, so it is very unfortunate that this happened :(

ATTENTION PUNAISES DE LIT J’ai séjourné avec une amie dans une chambre privée, nous avons trouvé une punaise de lit le soir même sur la table de nuit, puis j’ai été piquée dans la nuit. Les gérants ne nous ont pas proposé de remboursement, nous avons seulement été changées de chambre pour notre seconde nuit. De plus ils ont un appareil qui traite les punaises de lit ce qui prouve bien qu’ils savent qu’ils en ont

I stayed with a friend in a private room, we found a bed bug that evening on the bedside table, then I was bitten during the night. The managers didn't offer us a refund, only a change of room for our second night. We had to pay to take care of our belongings once we left the hostel. We also found a bedbug molt in the room, so it wasn't just one.

Disgusting and small bathrooms. Dorm rooms were boiling and my bed had bed bugs. My first day there I went to take a nap and one of the staff members climbed to the top of my bunk and FaceTimed someone talking super loud. Save yourself and do not stay here

I stayed 2 nights in this hostel. The first night in the dorm was ok, we had no problems. The second night we slept in one of the private rooms. After half an hour in the bed, I got bitten by a bed bug. I found one in the bed and another one in the wall. I am allergic so there is no way I can sleep in a room infested with bed bugs. We had to leave in the the middle of the night. It was a nightmare, without mentioning all the work back home to make sure no bugs were in our backpacks. They said it was the first time they saw them but that surprises me given the size of the bugs and that normally it is not easy to see them walking freely unless the room in infested.
