Mediterranean Youth Hostel

A minha escolha pelo mediterranean foi pelas avaliações boas, no entanto, no geral deixou a desejar e após a 1ª noite, o meu desejo foi cancelar pelos seguintes motivos: - quarto: todas as noites foram insuportáveis de quentes e não havia ar condicionado no quarto em que fiquei. - cama: acesso péssimo para as camas do alto. - banheiro: só existia uma temperatura da água do chuveiro que era SUPER quente, de sentir dor na pele e 2 chuveiros.

Worst hostel I’ve stayed at in 10+ years. Overpriced. Go anywhere else. Pros: decent location, safe area, communal dinners, met nice people. Cons: Rude staff, especially if not Spanish-speaking. Tried to claim my card was declined despite payment going through. Noisy rooms, old beds, no privacy, barely any toilets, poor Wi-Fi, weak plugs. Bathrooms moldy and broken. Breakfast inedible. Whole place felt dirty and neglected. Avoid. 0.5/10.

C’est la pire expérience que j’ai eu dans une auberge. Je ne comprends pas comment ils ont eu une bonne notation. Les douches et les toilettes étaient sales. L’eau était soit bouillonnante soit froide. Les lits sont très inconfortables. Si vous êtes sur la banquette du haut, c’est très difficile d’y accéder , il n’y a pas d’échelle. Les chambres ne sont pas du tout insonorisées, je ne dormais pratiquement pas à cause du bruit. Les serviettes ne sont pas fournies, il...

Avoid this place. The toilet didn’t flush, the bathroom was gross, the bed was just metal frames without curtains, like prison. The man who checked me in was great, but the woman not. I felt unsafe there because a 50yo man was on drugs in my room and started banging stuff. And I told her about it, and I asked to help find a resolution, and she started mocking me “yeah yeah it’s bad, boo hoo”.

Las instalaciones no estaban limpias. No se respetaba el descanso y a las 5 de la mañana se escuchaba a gente por los pasillos gritando. Además, la recepcionista entró a las 22h de la noche por las habitaciones para promocionar una actividad nocturna donde el alcohol era el principal protagonista. Más que un hostel, parecía un lugar de recreo. Apenas pude descansar porque desde las 3 de la mañana hasta las 6 estuvo entrando y saliendo gente de la habitación. Para nada lo recomendaría

Horrible experience. The worst hostel I’ve ever stayed. One of the biggest problem was staff. They were very rude and not friendly. Bathrooms, toilets and my room were very poor hygiene. Also there was a disgusting smell all over the hostel so I couldn’t even sleep. The common rooms were so insufficient, WiFi was weak and I faced cold water problem. While the staff were awesome, I wouldn't stay here again. Everything is made of metal and super loud, people are loud at all hours, the showers are freezing cold and toilet paper is always missing lol I just rather stay someplace that's actually comfortable

Pas de rideau sur les lits, ni de chevet. On manqque d'intimité. En plus, les docuhes et wc sont hors de la chambre et il faut donc sortir avec son téléphone (pour ouvrir la porte) en permanence sous peine de rester dehors. Je trouve le confort assez bas. Ambiance au top par contre

This is a well-located hostel near Catalonia Plaza. The staff were all super friendly, especially the person on duty when I checked in. She gave great recommendations of places to eat, drink, and visit in Barcelona and even booked a free museum ticket for me. Unfortunately apart from this, there was little to praise about this hostel. It is dilapidated and dirty. It is by far the most disgusting hostel I stayed in on my trip. The beds in the room come unmade. The bathrooms were very dity.

Cozy hostel in the city centre, close to metro lines and walking distance from Passeig de Gracia and Sagrada Familia. The bed is comfortable, with curtain and reading light. Unfortunately the room was facing an inner court, so no natural light coming in all day long and there is no air conditioning as well. The bathrooms/showers are very few respect to the number of guests and are not cleaned often. I was out almost all day, but there were few ppl in common areas and not very social vibes.

Muy buen hostal, personal muy amable, ambiente muy cálido, ofrecen desayuno y me guardaron las maletas antes y después del horario desginado. La ubicación es a unos 15 minutos del centro.

Las literas no son tan fuertes, así que en cualquier momento se puede caer o doblar las escalera, había reservado una habitación con menos camas y me dieron una habitación con más camas, solo los fines hacen actividades grupales

Great staff here. But take care of the dorm arrangement - as system problem, they may arrange you to a mixed dorm although you book a female only one. Can confirm with them when check in. If there's something wrong, can communicate with the staffs who are great :) Great location for sure. Some dorms may not have outside windows. In some dorms, they don't have curtains for each bed.

very friendly and helpful staff and lots of activities and food options. great kitchen and they seemed to always be improving each room in the place. showers can get a little mucky but thats expected in a hostel and they try and keep it clean as often as they can. great location - 7 minute bus or 15 minute walk to placa catalunya. very social but not a party hostel,it's quiet and respectful. def recommend!

Il personale dell’ostello è molto simpatico e in grado di creare l’atmosfera giusta per farti sentire a casa. L’ostello è molto accogliente, pulito, colorato, con una zona relax e una bella cucina. Socializzare è stato facile, anche grazie al fatto che in cucina c’è un grosso tavolo unico in cui fare colazione o pasti tutti insieme. La camera in cui ho alloggiato era comoda e sufficientemente spaziosa, con anche un bel balconcino su cui affacciarsi. Ho un bel ricordo e tornerò sicur...

The receptionists were really helpful and kind. However, some of the facilities could be improved—for example, the hair dryer in the men’s bathroom needs to be replaced. One of the beds was quite noisy, and overall it wasn’t very comfortable for the person sleeping on the upper bunk due to the bright light and the uncomfortable stairs. Still, I would like to thank the receptionists again for being so kind and helpful.

War ok gut eingerichtet und sauber. Aber war jetzt nichts so gute Stimmung und für außerhalb der Saison zu teuer. Hatte schon besser Hostels aber war nicht schlecht

We stayed here as a group of three and had a good time overall! The location was absolutely perfect super central and easy to get around. The free breakfast was a nice touch and really convenient for starting our days. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable, but the atmosphere wasn’t as social as we expected. One thing to be aware of there was some black mold in the hostel, and we did find it a bit hard to breathe at times. If you’re sensitive to that, it might be something to consider.

Pretty solid. Lots of flies in the kitchen, but solid otherwise.

Localizacao perfeita, staff gentil e prestativo, inclusive fazendo refeicoes muito saborosas em algumas noites específicas a um valor muito acessível e quartos no padrao esperado. Quantidade de banheiros era muito pequena para número de hóspedes, talvez por isso a limpeza dos banheiros devia um pouco, mesmo com a limpeza frequente, além disso precisavam de manutencao (vaso sanitário solto, só água quente no feminino). Alem disso esperava mais eventos (ex: pub crawl...) como prometido n...

This place is not just a hostel for me it has been a home away home for me in Barcelona. Never want to check out I had everything I need in there. If you look somewhere safe and chill but at the same time you can make friends and make some good memories go for this one. At least it was my experince. Loved it 10 out of 10
