Per essere un Ostello è troppo costoso, con una struttura fatiscente, anche abbastanza sporco. Mi dispiace ma è sicuramente al di sotto delle aspettative.non raggiunge la sufficienza L'unico pregio è che è ben organizzato.
For an ostello it is too expensive, with a decrepit structure, even quite dirty. sorry but it is definitely below expectations. it does not reach sufficiency. the only advantage is that it is well organized.

Smelly rooms and toilets were not clean… room was smelly too… kitchen was not great either
Our trip was a short overnight stay. The man that met us could have been a wee bit friendlier but had a very brash attitude and uninterested. Room was warm and we had a private toilet which was good. Slept very well. Very basic hostel. Wouldn't stay here again. No local amenities, far from shops or restaurants.

Mit etwas Engagement könnte das Haupthaus sicherlich ein rundum ansprechender und sauberer Aufenthaltsraum sein. Aktuell ist es leider etwas abgerockt und vermisst eine regelmässige und nachhaltige Grundsäuberung. Lage ist nicht alles, und daher ist der Preis für die Leistung nicht angemessen.
With some commitment, the main house could certainly be an all-round appealing and clean living space. it is currently unfortunately a bit dilapidated and lacks a regular and sustainable basic cleaning. location is not everything, and therefore the price for the service is not reasonable.
L’accueil pas sympa et veilleur de nuit horrible et exécrable. Il nous oblige à aller au lit à 21 h 20, chose que nous n’avons pas faite et revient encore pour voir si on l’avait écouté. Nous avions réservé et payé pour deux nuits, nous sommes partis après la première nuit sans être remboursés. Horrible, à fuir en tout cas si vous avez Max comme veilleur !
He makes us go to bed at 9:20 pm, which we didn't do and comes back again to see if we had listened to him. we had booked and paid for two nights, we left after the first night without being reimbursed. horrible, to run away anyway if you have Max as a janitor !
Sehr empfehlenswerte, aber einfache Unterkunft. Schöne Atmosphäre. Freundlicher Vermieter. Die Unterkunft verkauft auch ein paar Lebensmittel, was für mich wichtig war, da es nur kurz geöffnete Geschäfte und Restaurants n der Nähe gibt. Es gibt für mich 2 Nachteile: Für mich als Einzelperson war das Zimmer etwas teuer, da ich genauso viel bezahlen musste wie für 2 Personen. Bei später Ankunft werden Zusatzgebühren erhoben, was mich vor der Buchung abschreckte
When we arrived there was nobody to welcome us. There was a note saying the person would see us in the morning, which was not the case. We had to call her to ask her where we could leave the money we still had to pay. The rooms didn't look nice and the bed sheets didn't look clean. Overall the property needed so redecoration and cleaning. I think we paid too much for our stay. The only thing we liked was the view.

Ostello pulito e ben attrezzato. Stacey è gentilissima e disponibile: hanno due cavalli ed è andata a chiamarli apposta per farli vedere alla nostra bambina. L'abbiamo apprezzato molto. Assolutamente consigliato!
Charmant endroit avec vue sur mer et chevaux. Accueil charmant. Chambre au choix. Cuisine équipée. Au demeurant, peut-être un peu juste si les chambres sont complètes pour accueillir tout le monde. Je recommande
charming location with sea and horse views. charming welcome. room of choice. fully equipped kitchen. au demerent, maybe a little too much if the rooms are full to accommodate everyone. i recommend
The Flora Macdonald Hostel was great! Luna the dog greeted us, which was adorable. The horses were greedy and loved the brushing behind the ears. The water pressure was fabulous, which is nit always the case elsewhere. The kitchen was average size and we seemed to rotate with the other guests pretty well. And Stacey was great with the initial your and checking on us. Oh, lastly, the photos from my room window are postcard worthy. Just stunning views.

A wonderful 100mph storm on our last night was a highlight. The cabin shock & we were uncertain whether the roof was going to lift off times!! But our host Max was always welcoming.
Flora Macdonald is really nice. Great view and security. I was in a private room with my friend. There was a kitchen, a shower, and a toilet. Everything looked and smelled clean. It was very cozy! I will recommend to everyone!

My friend and I stayed one night in a double room. It was very cozy, and the shower was more than okey. Also it was separated from the bathroom which is a plus. The only “issue” is the location, but thats a normal thing in Skye..so long sorry short highly recommended!
Wir hatten das private Doppelzimmer und waren sehr zufrieden. Dusche und WC sauber, Küche voll ausgestattet und nettes Personal.
We had the private Double Room and were very satisfied. shower and toilet clean, fully equipped kitchen and nets Personal.
Really nice place in front of the loch. The kitchen is correct, sometimes small if more than one party was preparing food. The living space was really cozy. We stayed in a big room with en suite. It was also excellent price compared to other places in Skye. We were very well attended. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the south of Skye!!
Mejora con la estancia, no tiene lujos pero todo está en su sitio y funciona bien. Para los precios que hay en Skye muy apropiado. No hay cosas cerca así que llevar comida. Repetiría.
It improves with the stay, it doesn't have luxuries but everything is in place and works well. for the prices there are in Skye very appropriate. there are no things nearby so take food. would repeat.

Great location with ample parking. Really friendly staff. Local horses added to the view. Beds were comfy and facilities were all you needed. Definitely recommend this hostel!!

What a lovely place with such stunning view ! The owner is a very kind lady and the facilities are perfect for that price. We hope to be back some day 🙂
We only had an overnight stay but Flora Macdonalds more than met our needs.
