All in all, it’s clear that the owner is mainly interested in making money, not in creating a welcoming, soulful hostel experience. This place has beautiful stairs and flowers but unfortunately no heart. It’s a moneymaking machine with too many rules.

Custo beneficio se perde um pouco em algumas ocasiões, pedimos por exemplo um molho extra de barbecue e não foi possível! Não são oferecidos toalhas, nem por locação. O estacionamento é cobrado e fica longe do hostel, mas alguns hóspedes deixam o veículo ao lado do hostel, mas fui obrigado a deixar em outro terreno, mas não sei se eles que deixam ao lado pagam mais caro! This hostel has great facilities, but it definitely lacks the vibe and energy you’d expect from a real hostel. It feels more like a hotel, with very little interaction between travelers — probably because there are a lot of private rooms instead of dorms, and many Brazilian guests come here as couples or with friends.

The common kitchen is the worst we had in a while.. dirty and not well equipped (1 knife, 1 pan, etc. for the whole hostel). Just buy a few for the money that you charge for a 12-people dorm. The prices for the drinks are completely exorbitant for the fact that you are not allowed to bring your own alcoholic drinks. The staff were nice, especially Ricardo!

En general es un buen hostel, el desayuno me pareció caro para lo que ofrece. El primero me cobraron R$50 y los siguientes dias R$55. Tienen un buen servicio de lavandería y el personal siempre esta dispuesto a ayudarte. Puedes reservar paseos directamente con ellos lo que facilita mucho la experiencia. Es fácil socializar en el bar por las noches y el kebab fries es muy rico 🫰🏼✨

Very good hostel. Very chill vibe, lot of nature, good location, nice staff and very clean. I just think the music at the parties could be better. Would 100% recommend.

Really beautiful spot in the middle of the forest yet just near the city center and all its commodities. The rooms are special with a theme each, I was in the minibus and it felt unique to have a view on the rain forest and be in this colorful and comfy bus. The staff is fantastic. Super helpful, patient, kind, attentive, friendly, making sure the stay is wonderful and I was happy all along. Cocktails were great as well. It is a good place if you want to meet new friends. Insane hostel, the location is amazing, the pool is great and there’s so much spaces to chill / socialize. The social vibes were amazing, perfect if you solo travel and wanna meet cool people. They organize an activity everyday and you can easily join a group if you wanna hike or explore the island. Staff is 10/10 - they make you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive.

My experience was amazing. Everything was clean, organized and very comfortable. The staff is great and made everyone feel good. The parties and the nightlife were also amazing.

Melhor hostel que já me hospedei na vida, com folga! Equipe super receptiva e engajada em fornecer uma boa experiência. Localização impecável, 2 minutos do centrinho e da praia. O ambiente é super agradável, dá pra curtir muito dentro das instalações do hostel (bar, piscina com escorregador, bola, escalada, rede, jogos etcetc). I’ve had an incredible experience in this hostel. Facilities are amazing, everything you need and more. Loads of parties but at the same time enough space to find calmness for whomever prefers a quite night. The best thing of all, is the staff. All employees and volunteers give you the feeling you’re their special guest. They create such an open and lovely community. A lot of credits to all of the hard workers in this hostel and many thanks for the hospitality! Lots of love to Rodrigo!

I had an amazing stay at this hostel. The atmosphere was great, but what really made it special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, and I ended up spending quite a lot of time hanging out with them. A special shoutout to Rodrigo, Flora and the many Julias (or Julyas) who were all so friendly and fun and really made the experience feel personal. Thanks for making my stay so memorable. I would definitely recommend staying here

We absolutely loved our stay here. Hostel da Vila is such an amazing place to spend a few days or a week. We felt so at home, we kept extending every day. The staff are so so lovely and welcoming, the facilities are amazing with a tattoo shop and rock climbing wall in the hostel itself. An amazing place to relax, socialise and party. I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone looking for a chilled out vibe with a mix of amazing people, good music and so much to do on the island!

Pretty good hostel!

It's an awesome hostel! The common areas were very cool and felt perfect for the island. Our tipi room was also very comfortable and paired well with the private shower.

We originally booked a mixed dorm, however upon arrival the room itself isn’t very big and is a bit cramped. However I will say that this may have been because it was our first night after a long haul flight and we needed our own space! We changed to the tree net instead, and this was absolutely amazing! The room itself is lovely and spacious, with a gorgeous balcony, makes you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle! The bathroom is located underneath the room which is somewhat inconven...

Literally my favorite hostel I stayed at in Brazil. The staff were AWESOME (shoutout Adrian and Julia) and set me up with some great recommendations. Ton of common areas outside and there’s a DJ like every night so great place to stay and socialize!

This place is the best place I’ve been in Brazil. The vibes,The stuff, the people are just hitting different. You should run to this place! I’ll be back again for sure

Best hostel on our trip so far. Staff is super welcoming and helpful. Hostel is super nice located. Has super jungle vibes. And everything you can wish for. Bar with restaurant. Private kitchen and coworking spaces. Also big variety of cool rooms to go for. All in all 10/10. Totally can recommend it.

One of the nicest hostels I’ve been to, incredible property and atmosphere. Food was delicious, drinks were strong, water slide was fast ! Big thank you to Rodrigo for welcoming us, giving great recs of where to go where to go/ what to do, and being the life of the party. Definitely need to come back soon !
