HI Lagos - Pousada de Juventude

Been in a lot of different hostels, this was by far the ugliest (which is not tha important, even if it looked like a sanatorium) but definitely the dirtiest, especially the bathroom (at least the sheets were clean). Breakfast included was ok. Would not recommend

Location near restaurants and bars and the small Beach. The area was very loud and even with Ear plugs the noice from the street kept us awake half of the night.. also a lot of young people at the hostel going out and comming home drink during the night. The room was small and smelled badly. The curtain cuddent cover the hole window so people from outside could look into our room. Breakfast was not great. Staff very helpfull and nice!! We could leave our bags the day we checked out.

Weirdest experience ever. Only old people in the hostel or men from Ukraine. That’s all fine ofcourse but it gives a completely different vibe. It should have been noticed beforehand. As a girl you didn’t feel safe there and the hostel was so disgusting. Really outdated as well, cold showers only, and most of the staff was not kind. Don’t go to this place

Okay so this was not my fav… so loud outside your bedroom bc you’re near a bar, even w the windows closed. The rooms have 1 charger for THE WHOLE ROOM.. and the lockers don’t have locks. The shower space is gross, they have nats in the showers. It smells very weird in there. I was on the top bunk and I thought it was going to break every time I climbed up.. I would very much avoid staying here until they got more up-to-date features. Nice thing is - they have free breakfast.. that’s it l...

ostello pulito un po' mal messo ,come le porte molto cigolanti e uggiose da aprire, armadietto personale senza possibilità di chiuderlo perché non ci sono chiavi purtroppo anche avendo la serratura,alcune camere come la mia affacciano sulla strada ed è impossibile dormire, chiudendo la finestra muori di caldo perché non c'è qualcosa che rinfresca. doccia ok bagno ok spazio all'aperto buono ,cucina buona, macchinetta per caffè e per snack buono.

War für mich eine Notunterkunft, zum schlafen ging es einigermaßen - aber mehr auch nicht. Die Bude ist echt renovierungsbedürftig.

Great location! Cleaning staff was really amazing! Reception was disorganised and only worked a few hours per day, no hostel atmosphere, breakfast was included but just cold items. Laundry facility was an outdoor sink and wash board.

Súper buena hostal, muy económica y la atención es fenomenal, mención a Jaime que es un amor y muy amable para atender. Lo que deberían mejorar son las habitaciones tener donde dejar las cosas con llaves sería genial lo demás bien

El hostal me gustó en especial si comparamos precio calidad. Las camas son cómodas aunque vendría bien poner cortinas para mayor privacidad. No tienen locker, solo un espacio sin manera de poner candado así que en ese aspecto no es seguro dejar tus artículos de valor. El desayuno es muy completo tienes diferentes opciones. El personal es amable. Un detalle más que me gustó es que puedes lavar tu ropa, hay un espacio para hacerlo por ti mismo y te regalan el jabón. Gracias.

Very cute hostel! In an amazing spot! The breakfast included is incredible, especially for low budget travellers. I did wish the shower had better water pressure, a mirror in the room, lockable lockers (even though everybody there was so sweet) speaking of sweet, incredible staff!! I really enjoyed talking to them thank you for the great service and also the beds were so comfy I loved it.

This hostel is such a good location if you are hitting up the beaches, probably a 10 min walk to the most famous one. Bit of a mixed vibe here lots of people finishing the fisherman’s trail stay here. Breakfast is super decent too so good for that. Met some really solid people here. Not a party vibe I found. Staff were absolutely lovely thankyou 🫶

Clean private room, location is good close to several bars. There was not a lot of people in the communal areas. But staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to check out at 6am to catch a plane and the reception offered to prepare my breakfast to accommodate my time!

Very good location, the included breakfast was alright Not a very clean place and the kitchen was kinda gross….. No social activities, wouldn’t recommend if you solo travel

It's a but older of a place but it was very clean! Additionally, all of the staff were very nice. A few recommendations I have to the owners: • add bolts to the storage doors so they can have locks put on them (I could not put a lock on mine) • remove the paper on the windows and buy some black out curtains instead (If I wanted natural light I had to open my window) • add a heaters/AC in the rooms (it was very cold and humid) • add a kettle to use in the kitchen Thanks!

Gran estadía en Hi Lagos. Todo el personal ha sido espectacular, especialmente Jaime. Muy buena ubicación, lugar tranquilo. 10 puntos!

Employees available and super nice, i asked to change room after one night because of the noise and they let me, i wasn’t expecting such a great treatment!! Super recommended

Bring earplugs because the hostel is located right next to a very busy street and be aware that Lagos is a very very touristic town (sth we didn’t know before we arrived, which made us feel unsafe in some situations). Breakfast had good options and bathrooms were spatious and clean! The hostel is not very social as it’s a youth hostel and not a classic hostel.

I enjoyed my stay in Hi hostel! I felt safe, the staff is very friendly, the hostel is super close to the beach and free breakfast is nice! Only downside is that you hear the noise from the street pretty well, so if you have trouble sleeping with noise: bring your earplugs. For me it was not that loud that it kept me up.

Besides the doorman being passive aggressive when we first check in it was an amazing experience. I would stay again.

Disappointing, even if the price is attractive. The only positive thing were the location and the breakfast. The facilities were completely run down. In the bedrooms we had to be scared that our bed collapses and the cupboards weren’t lockable and falling apart. In the bathroom only one shower worked the other had no water pressure/ warm water. The kitchen was by far the worst, the fridge was never cleaned out hence smelling disgusting. Also badly equipped and very run down. Not recommend...

Solid spot - only stayed for one night. Kitchen is decent but pretty small if there are more than a couple people in there at a time. Bathrooms are clean. Breakfast was pretty good and nice that its included (ham, cheese, fruits, yogurt, coffee, cereal). My only "complaint" would be that the room I was in did not have any AC, and was on a very loud street. Overall, would recommend staying here!
