Hotel Du Colombier and Aberdeen

Cumple su función de hotel: poder dormir en una cama. El cuarto olía espantoso a cigarro, aunque en general el cuarto estaba limpio. El personal fue amable, no hay queja. La ubicación en muy buena, bastante cerca del centro. Vimos muchas quejas de chinches en las cama en el pasado, por suerte parece que ese problema ya se solucionó. En general nuestra experiencia fue buena a secas.

Good hotel as long as you come knowing what to expect. We stayed from 1st to 6th of May which means the weather was from 12 up to 18 degrees Celsius, mostly sunny, partly raining. ✅️ The price is low which is great, ❌️ but you will be paying with disturbed sleep at night because of the loud people outside and thin windows. (on top of that, in our room there was a broken burning hot radiator and we couldn't sleep with the windows closed) ‼️ We highly recommend you to walk as much as you can during the day so when you need to sleep to be as tired as you can to avoid waking up to loud noises coming from outside. ✅️✅️✅️ You get to be very close to most attractions in town, close subway stations, shops, good restaurants so you can walk a lot on foot, ❌️ on the street there is an urinator so an awful smell may come into the room from time to time. ✅️ As I said before we had a burning hot radiator in our room so we washed our clothes and they dried up within an hour which is amazing. We even used it to dry our hair after washing it. ✅️ The bathroom was ok, there was running hot water and the shower had good pressure, ❌️ the rooms were ugly. 〰️ The rooms were ok regarding cleanness, as in there were no bed bugs, or any other bugs (I'm leaning more on the unsatisfied side, because I think there was a little mold in the bathroom). We don't care much for stuff friendliness so we didn't even notice anything about that. It was ok, I guess. Be polite and you will treated fine. Overall: I recommend this place if you want to save up on money, if you are an active person who needs!!! to be tired at the end of the day!!!!

Okay hotel. We were worried after reading all the other reviews but actually ended up having a good experience. Yes, the hotel is old and shabby but for 1 cheap night in Brussels it works great! Clean towels and bedsheets, hot water, friendly staff + no bed bugs!

Un horror!!!! Las camas infectadas de bichos! No logramos dormir ya que despertamos porque las chinches nos caminaban por el cuerpo!!!! El baño lleno de hongos, humedad... No vayan!!

J'ai même hesité avant de mettre médiocre. À eviter. Punaises de lit dans la chambre 1. SAV inexistant. Bref, si vous avee d'autres choix...... A bon entendeur.....

One star is way WAY too much for this hotel, the only advice I could give is to AVOID!<br/>The check in process was slack at best, the male receptionist made us wait 10 minutes before he greeted us to check in and came across as unbothered and uninterested, no advice was offered about the local area.<br/>The hotel itself is located in a street which is having major works done, the alley smelt strongly of urine and the doorways to some of the rooms had dirty white matts in front of the doors, the walls and floors were stained, unclean and had spots of filler.<br/>Our room (No.7) had stains on the walls, wires poking out of the lights and the light switches and the hairdryer was wired into the back of a plug socket in the bathroom, the roof in the bathroom and the shower itself were covered in black mould and the desk in the bedroom itself looked like it had been chewed by a crazed Yeti!<br/>The whole place looked like it needed knocking down and starting again, boarded up windows, marble falling out of the fireplaces, more wires in/out of the room / TV than a server room.<br/>All in all this hotel was not as presented when I booked it, further reading on reviews leads to stories about bed bugs and what nots!<br/>On complaint to the manager he said "I don't care, you are not having a refund, go speaking to your booking agent!"<br/>We finally did get a full refund and stayed in the spotlessly clean Aparthotel Adagio Brussels Grand Place.

Hotel pas digne de deux étoiles, A eviter absolument, si vous aimez etre caresser par les punaises de lit et l odeur.....

My room was dirty and infested with bedbugs after awakening at 0400 April 5/2019. Despite complaint and proof ie showing bedbug and bites to front desk staff in am, management did nothing in response and in fact denied I. even stayed there . I am still out of pocket for my full prepayment. Avoid at all costs!

Pluskwy. Bed Bugs. Avoid at all costs!!! Never again! Zero star s*it hol. One star is too many for this place.

Apsolutly awful and terable. I found BED BUGS! Administration just told me that it's not the first time and that maybe i should open the windows and they will fly away... They recommend that i stayed in the room till tomorrow. On top on that bad location (unsafe) and really noisy.

This is a really bad place. I tryed to stay there one night but I had to run away at 1am due to their bedbug infestation. They changed us to another room but in that room there were bedbugs everywhere as well. Even walking on the wall. Disgusting!!!! And they have not make me a reimbursement
