Hostel Los Duendes del Sur

Our flight was delayed so we got in late and we couldn’t get into the hostel as no one answered the door. We had to book a hotel instead and take a taxi there at 1am.

Il gestore, un grassone sui 45 anni circa con la coda, capelli legati un po' grasso è un maleducato unico. Ti chiama cabron senza motivo. Sconsiglio di avere a che fare con questo cialtrone. Alle ragazze inglesi riserva un'altro trattamento. Mai più da questo grassone scortese senza educazione alcuna. Il piatto doccia aveva uno scarafaggio che io stesso ho ucciso. La cucina è lurida. Ripeto sconsigliato

Vine con una amiga por 2 noches, solo nos quedamos 1 finalmente tanto que no nos sentimos bien allí. Éramos las únicas mujeres, los hombres de nuestra habitación eran muy raros. La habitación muy mal arreglada (sin enchufe cerca de las camas ni luz, sin taquilla en la habitación), el baño estaba sucio y finalmente el desayuno incluido no estaba allí. Realmente no recomendamos el lugar

i didnt like the vibe and the energy at this hostel, that is why i left although i booked and i paid for 3 nights. It was like the other visitors in their comments describe it. the boss asked me why i wanted to live , something that i find good and professional that he wanted to know and second he return me the half of the money although he told me that is not possible because i booked through the website, which i also respect it.

Ich bin dort sehr spät abends angekommen. Ansonsten hätte ich dort gar nicht geschlafen. Es hat dort ziemlich eklig gerochen und die Leute waren auch ziemlich komisch. Eine ziemlich ecklige art von hippies/Junkies. Ich saß dort im draußen bereich und ein Angestellter hat vor mir in den Abfluss mitten im Aufenthaltsbereich einen Eimer mit gammligem Wasser geschüttet. Ich hab am nächsten morgen direkt ausgecheck obwohl ich für zwei Nächte gezahlt habe.

There's 2 toilets inside the 12 bed room, the sheets or bed was smelling bad, constant noise in room due to presence of toilets inside the rooms. Terrible layout, the owners should be ashamed to even offer such horrendous room for the sake of profiteering. It just looks old, mouldy, far away from everything else, not recommended.

If you are looking for this hostel because it's 2 euros than other hostels on the coast be sure that you don't want to stay there...no lockers,no chargers in the bed,beds are very short,might be good for short person...2 bathrooms in the room seems nice but you can hear every single noise that one do there because of the paper walls...You can use the kitchen but be sure that the staff is not preparing fancy dinner for themself

Ich war für 2 Nächte im 12-Bett Schlafsaal. Dort war es sehr ungemütlich und jede Nacht viele laute Geräusche einiger Leute. Eine Nacht hat jemand sich 30min übergeben, lautes Schnarchen, Bett wackelt bei jeder kleinen Bewegung. Einer hat mit seinem Feuerzeug gespielt... Die Gemeinschaftsbereiche und Leute dort sind in Ordnung. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass die kleineren Zimmer besser sind, aber das 12-Bett Zimmer war nicht erholsam.

At the time of booking it was the cheapest hostel but I would have rather spend more money on something else. The facilities were clean and the kitchen was functional, but the blanketa smelled really bad and I really did not like the whole vibe. most of the other guests seemed like old hippies and junkies, or smelled really bad of alcohol, I did not feel good hanging out outside. the lockers were outside in the yard which did not feel save+ my belongings got dirty there. rooms were very dark.

Sleeping became a challenge, during the day it was ok full with nice travellers but at night people get in and off the room looking for stuff talking loud and using their phone's lights. It's close to a nice places but I didn't feel very safe leaving my stuff without lockers.

Nice, quiet, and artsy.

the place was ok-ish, the people were nice, clear rules and clean kitchen. though just one bathroom in the common room which was always taken, the others are in the big sleeping room, which you need to cross and was not very clean. I had a private room, with very thin walls, luckily I had earplugs with me. It was OK for just one night and close to the airport, but the direct neighbourhoud was just tourist flats and not very charming, the city is 15min walk, next time I'd look for something else.

Einfache Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Unweit vom Meer. Freundliches Personal. Es gibt ein Badezimmer für alle Gäste.

Very very very strange place. Junkies hanging around, Italian youngster mafia loitering inside but though it was super funny I’ll def remember that place.

The gathering for some grill was very nice. But please invest in some mattress, it was bad.

Great place! Down to earth. Clean space. Nice location, short walk to the sea.

A parte l’anziano sempre all’ingresso che mi ha scoreggiato di fianco come nulla fosse, sono stato in due giorni differenti e ho avuto sempre gli stessi problemi: l’ostello ha sempre molti clienti anziani che russano forte, parlano nel sonno e fanno casino. I bagni sono vecchi e spesso mancava la carta, la cucina fortunatamente non l’ho provata e fuori l’ostello c’è anche molta sporcizia. Come se non bastasse, la Wi-Fi non tira fino alla camerata grande in fondo.

Hostel does the job at great value. Facilities aren’t amazing but pass for the bare minimum

This was the first hostel I stayed at when I got to Tenerife, was made to feel very welcome and met some lovely people. Would definitely recommend

Allocation of upper bunk was a disaster as I injured my leg descending.It ruined my holiday. arriving after dark by taxi was bad news-location is off the main road and not illuminated!!!! A map showing nearish 476 bustop would help.

It's a unique place! One of the few hostels in the area. Very different people stop here. Some want to party, some want to enjoy a calm holiday, and some travel around the world. Nevertheless, everyone finds great people here. Say hi to Todor (the host), and enjoy your time.

Un lugar increíble para alojarse. El dueño me hizo sentir como en casa y me llevo muy buenos recuerdos. Repetiré sin duda. Muchas gracias por todo!!!
