+ Absolutely nothing was okay.
- I honestly don’t even know where to start. We paid €280 per night and ended up sleeping in what felt like a prison cell. The room was tiny, bare, and completely soulless — absolutely not what you would expect at this price point. The bathroom was extremely small and not properly cleaned. The windows didn’t seal at all — you could hear everything outside and even feel the wind coming through. It was impossible to rest properly. Several power outlets weren’t working, which made charging devices unnecessarily complicated. Basic functionality should not be an issue at this price. They market themselves as a hotel, but in reality this feels like a low-budget hostel with a luxury price tag. The value for money is simply unacceptable. Very disappointing experience. Definitely not worth €280 per night.

- La poca seguridad cuando llegue al alojamiento un indigente se encontraba dentro de la habitación que me asignaron y nadie se había dado cuenta. Luego me cambiaron de habitación y la calefacción estaba mala. Si bien el recepcionista fue amable hasta ahora estoy esperando unas disculpas por el mal rato vivido
+ Staff on desk were great
- How on earth can they sell you a shared double bed with a stranger? Booked a room with four bunk beds, they tried to get me into a room with one bunk and one double bed, where my bed was half the double. The idea of sharing a bed with a stranger is sickening and outrageous. It makes no sense to me whatsoever They need to do something about this, it is not acceptable
- As a female I was mixed with males to live in the same room and that was very bad
- Fenster offen oder geschlossen, kein Unterschied was die Lautstärkeisolierung anging. Extrem schmutziges Bad.Sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt
- 非常可怕的住宿体验，酒店安全员在午夜12点半开门进入，原因是我在门口丢弃了未吃完的麦当劳，这是完全不可接受的，向酒店投诉，酒店反馈说在工作人员敲门的前提下，工作人员可以合法开门进入客房。简直难以置信酒店会认为这是正确的处理方式，已经投诉平台，平台正在处理中，如果得不到合理的解释，将报警处理

- Radyatörleri bozuk olduğu bilinen odayı kiraladıkları yetmiyormuş gibi kış günü iki gün sokaktan bile soğuk odada konakladım ve resepsiyondaki sarışın çocuk gülerek yapacak hiçbir şey yok dedi. İki gün sonra defalarca giderek odamı değiştirebildim. Personel tarafından bilindiği halde ısıtması çalışmayan odaya niçin konuk alıyorsunuz? Ayrıca odanın değiştiği akşam odama kartla bir kadın girdi, resepsiyondaki görevki yeni odamı seçmediği için oda tekrar başkasına verilmiş. Oda ona verilince benim kartım iptal oldu. Üç kez aşağı indim ancak halledebildiler. Rezil bir işletme.
- Ich war zusammen mit einer Freundin bei Ihnen im Hostel in Düsseldorf. Morgens gegen 7:30 Uhr kam eine Frau in unser Zimmer, stürmte direkt wieder raus, und ehe wir nachsehen konnten, wer das ist, war die Frau weg. An der Rezeption entschuldigte man sich, allerdings fragte man weder nach der Zimmernummer noch wurden unsere Kontaktdaten aufgenommen, falls es Fragen geben sollte. Ich finde es absolut inakzeptabel, dass eine fremde Person in meinem Zimmer steht. Ich habe mich dadurch sehr unwohl bei Ihnen gefühlt. Obwohl ich diese Nachricht an das Hostel geschrieben habe, um eine persönliche Rückmeldung zu geben, gab es bis jetzt keine Antwort (3 Tage) - enttäuschend!
- Sehr dreckig überall. Spiegel, Fernseherbedingung, Fliesen im Bad kaputt. Personal unfreundlich und nicht zuvorkommend. Auch für zwei Sternen nicht ausreichend. Wir haben unser Aufenthalt unterbrochen und sind in ein anderes Hotel gezogen mit vier Sternen für nur vierzig Euro mehr. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall zu vergleichen. Das Geld ist es auf jeden Fall nicht wert da zu bleiben.

The charging socket on the headboard is bad... the rest is good, the sex price is high
Bang average hotel-style hostel where you have to make your own bed. While not advertised as a party hostel, people were up and drinking loudly in the common area until 4am and then went to their rooms and kept being loud. A girl started *blow-drying her hair* in our dorm room after midnight. The outlet above my bunk didn't work. The common area is huge, the location is great and the staff are so lovely, but I wouldn't stay here if you have to wake up early.
It's very close to Düsseldorf central station, just 10-15 mins walk away. It's also reasonably close to Little Tokyo (for great food) and Altstadt (old town). The toilet and room are a bit small but fully functional. The hostel is equipped with all the standards, bar, pub grub, paid laundry, and full kitchen. Tip: lockers aren't available in rooms and needed to be rented for €6/day near the reception.
Die Wände sind aus Papier, man hört alles was nebenan passiert. Die Mitarbeitenden waren freundlich. Für eine Nacht ist das für den Preis total okay. Lage ist gut.
The walls are made of paper, you can hear everything that happened next door. the staff was friendly. for one night it is totally okay for the price. location is good.
I stayed in a private single bedroom and it was good. The room and bathroom were clean so that was more than enough for me, I cannot tell about shared bedrooms though... The reception guys were always super helpful and the have a giant luggage storage room for people that arrive early. The train station is about 10-15 minutes away walking (I walked with a big backpack and was totally doable). If you don't want to walk to the Hbf, there is a tram station in the same block
Good location, nice staff, and I met very friendly roommates. Toilettes and showers clean too. However none of the bedside electrical plugs work; one roommate raised this issue to the hostel and they did nothing. This is very inconvenient and traveller-unfriendly. I met a similar problem in another A&O hostel in another city so I am wondering if all their bedside plugs are nothing more than decoration.
Insgesamt war Alles in Ordnung, einschließlich des sehr freundlichen Empfangs beim Check-in. Was im Jahre 2026 allerdings ein absolutes No-Go ist, ist die Tatsache, dass am Bett weder Strom noch Micro-USB-Anschluss vorhanden ist.
What was in the year 2026 however an absolute No-Go is, is the fact that am Bett is neither Power nor Micro-USB-Anschluss present.
