My first day in Alexandria I was able to hire a driver to pick me up and drop me off at the hostel. I arrived at around 5:30 but I couldn’t check in until 1, but the receptionist was very helpful by giving me a blanket to rest. Staff was nice, location is excellent which makes walking to the nearby site attractions accessible, breakfast is good too. Place was fine with me. Thank you.

In July it's awfully hot but room was air cond,beds very comfortable and clean. We met great people. Had fun

Super bien ubicado! El personal súper amoroso. Las habitaciones son grandes y cómodas. Lo único que no me gustó del Hostel es que los huéspedes no dejaban el baño limpio. Es necesario que se realicen limpiezas con mayor frecuencia para evitar esto

The property was nice, but the wifi was incredibly bad. Furthermore I had to ask the cleaners 4 times to make up my bed so I could sleep after a long travel. I was earlier than the checkin, so it's understandable, but they kept promissing it would be "done right away" and it took them over 2.5 hours. If you say you'll do it right away, then please do...

It's a good place to stay. It's a bit expensive than some local hostels, but the management team is doing a good job, kitchen is open to clients all day long. The cleaness of the hostel is in good level. I would recommend .

But the negatives: 1. 10% percent off if you book 3+ days direct through them but in low season at least, the price is the same cost as booking through app. 2. 2% added CC card fee 3. Problem with hot water in womens for last two days but prior to that, it was continual hot water. 4. No bidet at all

The building is old on the outside but is pleasant and nice on the inside. The bed is comfortable,breakfast is good,there is no laundry service though. Shoutout to Steven for arranging my taxi to the bus station. Thank you again,I've enjoyed my stay at Ithaka!

Ithaka Raml Hostel is a wonderful place to stay in Alexandria. The location is perfect, the staff is extremely nice and is paying a lot attention to make you perfectly comfortable. The breakfast is simply delicious, the common rooms are very comfortable with light and air, and contribute to socialization. The furniture is very simple just like every hostel, which doesn't mean without comfort. Thank you !! As a female solo traveler, this place was perfect for me!

It was my second time staying at Ithaka and I will certainly be coming back again. The price is encouraging and reasonable, especially considering the quality, cleanliness and steadiness of both rooms and bathrooms, as well as the kitchen and common area. The staff never fails to be understanding and kind, I felt welcome and heard. A great place for both a long and a short stay. A big plus for lovely seasonal decorations 🤍

A neat hostel in the centre of Alexandria. Close to the Coptic Cathedral, Kavafis museum, and Roman theatre. Amazing staff. I would like to mention Zeira for arranging my breakfast box!

A great hostel! Clean, nice staff, with good rooms. Filtered water available. The only slight negative is the wifi isn’t up to streaming standard, otherwise you can get by. I loved my stay here.

A perfect place. The communal stairs belie the bright, fresh and clean large apartment spaces. The rooms have a 19th century grandeur. Everyone was really helpful and responsive to questions. Totally recommend it as a great central launch pad into amazing Alexandria.

One of the best hostel experiences I've had. From the moment I walked through the door I was made to feel so welcome (special credit to Zeina, what an amazing person) and the feeling never faded. Comfortable beds and pillows and reliable AC, plus a delicious included breakfast. What more could you ask for?

great hostel with a great many events. the staff can be a bit pushy but they are very helpful aswell, I highly recommend
