I was really disappointed with my stay. The level of cleanliness was honestly unacceptable — common areas and bathrooms were not properly maintained, and it felt like basic hygiene standards were not being met. I do want to mention that the volunteers at the reception were doing their best and were always kind and helpful, but unfortunately their effort couldn’t make up for the overall poor conditions. I wouldn’t stay here again unless the cleanliness improves significantly.

Filthy party hostel. Choose this place if you want to get drunk with a group of 18 year olds - which might be your thing.

Seriously disgusting, please look at the Google reviews before booking!!! Showers are covered in mold, my bunk was not properly cleaned before I arrived (still had trash from the last person, sheets were ripped and worn out) mattresses are worn and uncomfortable to sleep in I felt so gross and uncomfortable during my stay here

Showers were cold (tried three times, different showers, ran them for ages, in the end went to a different floor), hairdryer didn’t work, toilets smelled like urine all the time, generally unclean, “free iced tea” is a tea bag in water in a fridge that smelled like something died in it, no atmosphere in the common areas. I was disappointed by this hostel. The rooms were quite dirty and hadn’t been cleaned in what seemed like a long time. There was lots of dirt, hairs and even garbage around my bed. Some people on my floor mentioned to me that they found bed bugs in their room which stressed me out. My bed seemed to be fine but still not a great feeling. There was no hot water for the showers, wifi didn’t function, rooms had no ac (only two old fans that didn’t do much for heat). Staff was very sweet though...

Ou stay at the hostel was very disappointing. At first we were given a room where there was no space and there wasn't any AC. We left to eat and And when we came the room the smell was unbearable and there was no way to ventilate, so we had to ask to change our rooms. The bathroom was very unhygienic and dirty. The shower had wooden floors and the floor was very dirty and there was mold. Also wifi wasn't working. The only good thing is that the location is the staff were wonderful and helpful...

I've stayed in nearly 30 different hostels at this point of my travels and I have never once been in one so disgusting I felt it was in my best interest to leave after only one night. I would not recommend staying here. The showers had mold on all the curtains and looked as tho they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The bathrooms where not much better each reeking of urine and felt less clean then a public park toilet. Along with that we where not positive that our sheets where changed (DONT STAY)

I can’t recommend this Hostel. We booked the 12 person mixed dorm and its not at all like on the pictures. It is an attic with normal beds and no curtains on the beds. So there was no privacy at all. We were put in a room with only men. On top there is mold all over the walls and it smells extremely bad! Online we were promised a completely different room. So the advertisement of this hostel is completely misleading. The bathrooms were always dirty. Some showers alsways cold.

it was the first hostel that i felt like I hated shared shower. I was unlucky enough to find it smelling like public toilets.

The hostel is social and the atmosphere is nice. We did the pubcrawl and it was fun. Unfortunately we had to leave 2days before the end of our trip because I had bedbugs in my bed. I woke up with a lot of bite, even on my face. The staff told me I have to pack and go wash my stuff. Its the first time I experienced begbugs in a hostel. I think they should be more attentive to that when they do the cleaning for another guest. I saw some comments about it on hostelworld so its not the first time.

it was so insanely loud. construction all the time. no curtains on the beds. I couldnt sleep but the location was great. No laundry but a laundromat down the road. charged an extra $115 for no reason.

Great location and overall a nice hostel. I enjoyed my stay, but a couple of things to mention: one morning there was no hot water. I informed the staff, they said they would fix it, but nothing changed, so I had to take a cold shower. Also, the terrace is supposed to close at midnight, but one night it stayed open later, which was a bit noisy for the dorms nearby.

Awesome hostel. Wonderful location, close to everything in a beautiful little square with cafes. Very helpful and friendly staff (thanks Raquel!!), super welcoming atmosphere to meet other travellers. Rooms were very clean and comfy, bathrooms not super clean but that is my only remotely negative thing to say. Overall amazing stay, would 100% recommend. Thanks again!!

The location is good, but the hostel was extremely dirty, the toilets / showers smelled like pee all the time during my stay, the staff is not friendly and the ambiance is not so social as it seems!

Really great hostel, with amazing staff there! My only issue in the hotel was the hot water that was hard to get in the shower! Great time!

suprised this hostel got such a high rating. I may be the problem because everyone else seemed to love it. But it is not disability friendly at all, all the bathroom locks are these smooth cylinders that are very hard to turn plus all faucets and showers have a button you have to continuously push to get the watwr to run. The shower was barely warm. The building itself is obviously very aged and looks like the hostel was quickly thrown together. Overall the hostel feels very grundgy and mold is ...

I stayed there twice and both i had such a pleasant experience. Super cozy and good vibes. Hugo at the reception was super helpful and friendly! Guest service above and beyond!

it's an okay place to stay. the staff are very friendly. unfortunately none of the bathrooms really ever felt clean until immediately after they were cleaned. if you took a shower later at night you would notice a lot of grime on the floor. the wifi was spotty and didnt connect all the time. breakfast was a bit overpriced for what it is. took forever for the showers to turn to hot water and at that the buttons are a timed push button that you would have to keep pressing, annoying.

Great hostel. Nice, clean rooms. The common areas are great, both inside and outside. Very social. The staff was really nice, social and helpful.

Honestly one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had. Friday night was insane, the pubcrawl was so much fun. Everyone was friendly, really easy to meet people and the vibe was just on point the whole night.

Stayed here before starting my Camino and honestly it made everything so much easier. I had extra bags and didn’t know what to do with them, but they offer storage.Left my stuff there for one week and when I got back everything was exactly the same, no stress at all. Staff were chill about it and clearly used to Camino people. Such a small thing but it made a big difference not having to carry everything with me.

really good hostel ! staff is A1 some times you have to wait a little to have hot water… but besides that everything was perfect ! would definetly come again ! the reception lady upgraded my for a girl only room, i really appreciated that !

I wouldn’t recommend or return to this hostel. The bed was not clean, the shower was really annoying to use, & there was no AC. Everyone in my room was sweating so much. Definitely would not come back! It was in a good area, just wish the experience had been better.

I wearily booked a night to stay with a friend. Normally not too keen on bar hostels, but this hostel was great! A nice balance between social night life and calm quiet mornings. I ended up booking a bunk for the next time I was in Porto. Staff is wonderful (Raquel, Vitória, Hugo, etc) and gave me a warm welcome when I came back. Easy to meet other solo travelers and I felt safe as a single female. Female bunk room beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are okay!!

Cheap and cheerful , no locks on storage but still felt safe , no curtains which it said there would be but really enjoyed my stay still

Highly recommend this for students, good fun and very sociable group of staff which is a lot of help especially when travelling individually or with one person.

Excelente ubicación, cocina equipada, baños limpios y personal amable. El único pero es que el agua no sale tan caliente en la ducha. Espacios comunes muy agradables y las habitaciones femeninas fueron una maravilla.
