I wouldn’t stay here again. The location was great, but that’s about it. The lady who checked me in was extremely rude and seemed bothered when I asked for help with something. The bed was just a mattress on the floor. Old dirty mattresses piled up outside our room. Cleaning ladies carrying around chemical bug killer. The bathrooms were rarely clean and only one all gender bathroom for the whole floor so it was always busy. Also, the shower has no change room so very little privacy. Not wor...

i was there for two nights and got eaten by bed bugs. i told the front desk and them as well as our roomste knew about the bugs and no one said anything. So they checchecked us into a room with bed bed bugs.... i have emailed the owner of ththe hostel and have not gotten a response. DO NOT STAY HERE

BED BUGS. Unfortunately after night two of my stay here I woke up with bed bugs all over my body and face. If you look at past reviews you will see multiple cases of bed bugs going back over 12 months. Clearly there’s a problem which management are not doing anything about. The receptionist team were helpful in moving me to a new bed and refunding me for my stay which I am grateful for, but I really wish that I had gone elsewhere now. Warning to anyone looking to book, do so at your own risk.

Left this hostel early due to a few issues. Room was unbearably hot and didn’t cool off until around midnight. Beds were not very comfortable. Saw a cockroach in the middle of the day in the downstairs common area.

El riesgo de que te roben algo mientras no estás en la habitación es alto, ya que la puerta no cierra, excepto cuando la cierras de golpe. La calidad de las camas es mala; si te mueves, toda la litera se mueve. Además, parece que nunca han limpiado las camas, porque hay chicles pegados a las paredes y las sábanas están sucias y hay chinches en los colchones, las cuales provocan que acabes con picaduras y teniendo que preocuparte por si te llevas o no las chinches contigo.

Everything good but there are bed bugs everywhere, i changed the bed and still found them . The staff tried to help but they didnt do anything about it.

The people staying at the hostel were unkind and inconsiderate. They would be loud in the rooms and made me feel very uncomfortable. I also got bed bugs while staying here because I stayed here 2 nights and the first night was fine but after the second night I woke up with about 50 bug bites.

The location was okay, a bit of a walk if your wanting to do the touristy things but perfect if you want to be away from the crowd. The street was noisy until late into the night and we had to keep our window open because the air conditioner was not working. It was a good thing the few days I was there that it had cooled down a bit. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The staff and terrace are great. The facilities are very subpar. The WiFi had poor connection, the kitchen wasn’t stocked with dishware, multiple bathrooms are out of service- forcing everyone to use the restroom on the second floor (three floors total). Overall, for the price, not worth it

Die Rezeptionistin und der Rezeptionist Paulo haben alles super gemacht, es war wirklich sehr gut. Die Lage ist perfekt, Im hinteren Bereich des Hauses gibt es sogar einen Garten zum draussen sitzen. Die Ubahn ist auch nicht weit weg und die Einkaufsstrasse ist direkt vorort, aber es gab keinen Lärm im Zimmer. Die Toiletten und Duschen sind alle sauber . The shower was hot, the kitchen was clean, and there was a nearby grocery store. Nice location that wasn't overly loud after 10 pm. Get a low bunk if you can.

Très bonne auberge, le personnel était vraiment gentil, les chambres sont vraiment bien et propre. L’emplacement est bien aussi, proche de tout à distance de marche. Bref, une des meilleures auberges, je recommande vraiment.

Good hostel!!! Very clean bathrooms; the communal areas are beautifully decorated and also spotlessly clean. There’s no luggage storage, but the staff are kind enough to let you leave your suitcase in the lounge for free. Lots of restaurants around, shops, mini market and souvenir shops, just a two-minute walk from the metro station :) I recommed

Sehr zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter, Ausstattung funktional, mein Zimmer (4-bett) war super eng und hatte nur ein kleines Oberlichtfenster. Die Küche ist zu klein für ein hostel dieser Größe. Aber alles war sauber und hat funktioniert.

Some guests didn't respect the rules enough, kitchen should be cleaner and better organized. In the shower is no place where I could hang my clothes, so I had to improvise something. Some toilets weren't that clean. Some guests were loud after I asked them not to be. I hope next time when I come to Porto, that these (also other) things would improve for the better of potential guests, but also for people that work there. Perfeito, super acolhedor e bonito

Adorei toda a estadia do Rosalma. Todos do staff foram muito solícitos e gentis. A estrutura está muito boa e o imóvel é muito charmoso e envolvente! Voltarei com certeza!!! Pediria apenas alguma atenção à pessoa que limpa os quartos que, embora estejamos em um hostel, ainda é expectável algum silencio em respeito aos que dormem um pouco mais pela manhã. A pessoa entrou no quarto falando muito alto com outras pessoas e fazendo orações Em voz alta (muito alta).

Und hat das Hostel super gefallen. Die Lage ist super zentral, es hat ein freundlicher, respektvoller Umgang mit dem Personal und den Gästen geherrscht und die Unterkunft war schön, modern eingerichtet und immer sauber. Sehr zum empfehlen!

Big kitchen, clean, really nice outdoor and indoor seating area. There are three bunks stacked up in the bigger dorms, so a little on the shorter side between each bed, but the ladder is wide and easy to climb. There is a light, curtain and plug in each bed, on a nice, pedestrian-friendly road with shops. Showers were nice. A bit over a 20-minute walk to the river

super auberge, très belle déco, accueillante et accessible.

L'auberge est très bien située, à côté de la station de métro, avec de nombreux commerces comme le marché bolhao. L'application Hostelword indique qu'elle accepte uniquement les espèces et propose le petit-déjeuner, mais cette information est obsolète. Les paiements par carte sont acceptés, mais le petit-déjeuner n'est pas proposé.

I would say this hostel is quite nice, more updated and I like the communal bathrooms although they aren’t gendered so it’s a bit close proximity for a solo female traveler. I also had some older men in my dorm but the beds provide nice privacy. I also enjoyed the hostel itself, it’s just located in a fairly touristy area which would be my only qualm.
