Hostel For You Ella

Het hostel is een catfish vergeleken de foto’s op Hostelworld… ik vond het er erg vies en voelde me hierdoor niet erg fijn op deze plek. Wel hadden ze heel erg goed ontbijt dat moet ik wel toegeven

Was unable to locate this hostel and ended up having to book somewhere else. Hostel name doesn't exist in maps and the pin location is incorrect.

Can‘t really recommend this place, the rooms were falling apart, bathroom wasn‘t really clean when we got there and we didn‘t really catch a vibe at this place (however, thats because of the off-season and the lack of people there). Although staff was friendly and helpful, it was hard to get in touch with them. Also they have kept in the Airpods my friend forgot in the hostel and never returned them to us. The location is great but I would not recommend staying here again.

I did not enjoy my stay here. The dorms are super basic. I could not charge my phone because the outlet did not work. It is a dorm of 10, which is fine with me. but there are no privacy curtains. It is overall just very basic. I wanted to check out at 7-8ish and there was just no one there, which was weird.

the place was so disgusting, I reserved 2 nights and when I wanted to checkout after the first night because of the unclean bed and bathrooms they forced me to pay for 2 full nights, and they claimed it was HostelWorld issue, and when I contacted the support it turns out that they lied and just scammed me for an extra night. To sum it up, disgusting place with disgusting staff

I was very disappointed because the pictures did not at all match the dorm rooms at the hostel. It was not clean and the staff was hard to find.

Pretty Grim, not very clean. Mosquitoes everywhere as windows permanently open, only a fan so the room was boiling. Bathroom was vile. Overall vibe was meh. Get what you pay for. Location was very good tho.

The location was very good, it’s really close to the main road. The private room however that i booked was not clean, there was mildew on the walls and on the ceiling. The shower wasn’t working properly, there was hardly any water coming out of it and it was very cold. The stay included breakfast which was nice, but overall it definitely wasn’t worth the 35 dollars per night that i paid for it. Wouldn’t stay again.

Do not look like the pictures. Dirty bathroom, dirty sheets. Only thing good is location. Would not stay more than one day. Breakfast is overrated.

This hostel is in a great location but unfortunately is misrepresented in the description- there is *no yoga* because the teacher is gone, so it makes this place quite bad value for money in my view. If you’re looking for a basic hostel I would go for one of the cheaper ones locally

staff is quite unhelpful and nowhere to be found. i came here to play cambio, not hide and seek. they're always confused and keep making mistakes about bookings and payments. not very social and shower pressure made me sad. and i am the most patient and unbothered person.

Nobody is ever at reception, you have to search to find staff if you need anything. Staff are not friendly and unhelpful, and made multiple mistakes about my booking. Keep track of what of you pay for. No curtains, dirty, and not social.

Ich hatte einen entspannten Aufenthalt hier. Das Zimmer sowie Badezimmer war sauber; das gesamte Hostel war’s eigentlich. Der Standort war perfekt. 1 Gehminute von der Bus Station entfernt. Was verwirrend ist, auf Google Maps wird es anders angezeigt. Dort muss man “the rock view hostel” eingeben. Ich kann es mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und würde immer wieder herkommen.

Really enjoyed staying here , super chill vibes and a great location . The view is amazing too . I did pay a bit extra for the nicer hostel room which was worth it as I had friends staying in the cheaper room which wasent very nice , but still doable !

Very location in city center of Ella, staff are Kind but the room and the bathroom are not really clean. Not an Hostel to meet people

Ein sehr gutes Hostel in Ella. Es war sozial und die Gastgeber (besonders Sandaru) waren sehr nett! Die Betten waren bequem und hatten Moskitonetze.

Not very happy with the security/ safety of this hostel. There was a man screaming outside our room for an hour at 1am he sounded possessed. screaming stuff like die and I’m going to kill you. Me and my friend needed to leave for a safari at 2am this went on for an hour and we was too scared to leave our room. I tried whatsapping the hostel/ trying to contact them and got nothing back.

Great hostel

I stayed in private and 4 bedroom dorm! Both were clean and beds comfortable! 4 bedroom dorm can get loud as you are near the communal space. Did find some people coming in and out of room who weren’t staying there. Some stuff was stolen off my bed but not the hostel fault. Great location and good sitting areas. Social vibe is on and off. They need volunteers here and it would be so much better.

The location/property was very nice. However, everything offered by the hostel felt expensive despite the ‘hostel discount’. It also didn’t feel super social compared to the other hostels and I believe that more could be done to cultivate a community vibe

Good location on main street but not too loud. Room was nice with bed curtains, spacious and plugs/lights. Bathroom could be better and not much info about things to do etc.

Great location, brilliant staff, room was great, and the laundry service was the cheapest we’ve come across and it was given back to us rapidly. 10/10 would recommend to anyone to stay here.

Achtung bei der Anreise, die Adresse stimmt bei google maps leider nicht. Haben uns total verfahren. Lieber bei apple maps schauen wo es lang geht. Ansonsten top Lage und tolle Aussicht. Gutes Frühstück auch

Hostel for your Ella has such a warm and friendly vibe. Sajana, the owner, is incredibly kind and helpful, he made me feel right at home. The location is peaceful yet close to everything, with beautiful views all around. Clean rooms, cozy common area, and great people. I ended up staying longer than planned, highly recommend!
