Hotel the Moksham

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a hostel. They’re beyond disrespectful, unhelpful, and rude. Save yourself a major headache by booking literally anywhere else. I’d rather sleep in the streets than deal with the men working here again. Do not trust them to make any bookings for you or help you to arrange any transportation. They will leave you in the middle of the road. I’ve been to 32 countries and this was by far my worst staff I’ve ever encountered

The hostel is really nice - the dorm room was very comfortable. The common spaces are so nice and the yoga studio is beautiful. Great location, just a short walk from loads of things and Tapovan area. Not much of a social vibe but it was in low season.

Super kind staff. I could really feel they have a nice atmosphere among each other. Good energy. Also they helped my to organize a taxi or a bus. What I really liked, is the empty yoga shala upstairs where I did my morning practice. And there is a water dispenser available. Thank you for your hospitality!

very clean very tidy and a welcoming host

This was a lovely place to stay before starting my meditation and sound bowl healing course. What totally made my stay 5 stars was the hotel manager Mayur who was so helpful and kind right from the beginning. Whatever I had concerns about he sorted it. I left my international phone adapter in Dehli and he used his own money for me to get my charger sent to me. Made me very happy 😃

Love the Moksham! It’s a beautiful hotel. All the staff are very kind and helpful. The property is kept immaculately clean. It’s very relaxed and in a calm and quiet area, still very close to everything in Tapovan, a short walk to other areas, plenty of shops and cafes, great yoga schools nearby and drop in classes on the top floor also were really great. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful and friendly stay in a great location.

Hotel The Moksham exceeded my expectations on every level. I loved the location: adjacent to everything - two quiet blocks away from the noise of the main street. Stellar, helpful staff. Booking travel to Devprayag and the Chandabadni Temple turned into a serendipitous, memorable motorcycle ride up the Ganges River. The attention to detail in the decor, a meditative lounge on each level, and the roof-top yoga shala to launch every day. The value is real; the peaceful vibe is real!

The cleanest hostel I have stayed in in India! Lovely staff, nice cafés around the corner, and they cleaned the room every day!!

I think the location and overall vibe of this place is awesome, located near Lots of Yoga classes and Cafes. rooms and premises are clean helpful staff.

Great stay, super clean, there is filtered water and sitting area on every floor and a small library of spiritual books. Staff super friendly, helped with arranging a taxi and helped to get my Amazon parcel delivered. I also felt super safe as a solo female traveller

Moksham is a great place to stay while in Tapovan. The hotel feels very new and you can tell that the owners take very good care to keep it maintained, clean, and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and the location is quiet, right off the main walking road besides lots of very nice cafes and yoga studios. my partner and i both feel its very high quality for the low price. Would definitely recommend!! We used it as a base so are unsure how social it is, but the common spaces look very cozy

Great place with so much positive vibe. There is a seating area on every floor where you can meditate, relax or work and the dorms are really well-made. I'd come back here to stay in Rishikesh.

Really clean and super friendly staff. Especially Deepak who has helped me further with bookings for my travels. Glad to have our own balcony and was really well looked after. Good food too

Quiet, peaceful place, yet close to everything, little bit up the mountain. I really enjoyed the female dorm, the vibe was nice and relaxed.

I absolutely loved my stay at Moksham! I stayed for 4 nights and felt totally safe. It’s in perfect walking distance to nice coffee places and shops, and it even has a yoga shala on top. Highly recommend! :)

A very peaceful hostel of yoga,meditation and self reflection is s one of your main purpose

Fabulous in every aspect. As a solo female traveller the energy of the place felt really safe. The men who work there are all very kind and helpful, and the owner was incredibly generous. The hostel was very clean and of an overall high quality, costing the same as not-so-nice spots. I wish I had found it when I arrived so I could stay longer! Highly recommend.

I had such a wonderful stay here - I was feeling ill so I spent a few days here to recover and im so happy to have chosen this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with luxuries like a tv with Netflix and Youtube! The staff were super friendly and helpful. They serve tasty food which can be eaten in the Cafe or in the common area of the floor in which your room is on. Music was played in the common areas which also added to a calm atmosphere. I would highly recommend if you are looking for
