The worst hostel i have ever been too. Seems like it was never cleaned in the last 5 years. Only 2 bathrooms out of which 1 dint work and 2 toilets with no toilet paper. Bathrooms, kitchen, rooms had the worst smell. the staff doesn't care. On top of that, they offer you a free beer for good reviews.

Tiny rooms, weird staff, no water -avoid!

It was said our room initially wasn’t ready so there was a muck around there. Then the room itself had mould everywhere and it rained and the water came into our room and a lot of our stuff got soaking wet and all my books and paper got ruined. There was also a huge group partying really loud ant the hostel and shouting until 4am so we couldn’t sleep. I would like a refund for this stay.

It’s ok but in Reality dont have to much details - don’t have hot water in the shower for example - the place is on but it is no for this money

les + : propre et cuisine pratique,ambiance sympa, rooftop ; les - : salle de bains affreuses,trop petites, pas de pression à peine un filet pour se laver et ils ont mis une deco vraiment pas adaptée pour nettoyer...,le personnel n'est pas joignable par watsapp vraiment pas pratique ils.n'avaient pas vu ma réservation j'ai dû attendre 3h alors que j'étais fatiguée, l'hostel est assez loin des transports.Je recommande mais il faudrait vraiment améliorer certains aspects

This is a *very* unique hostel, basically a large, rather funky apartment with a big terrace. Staff is really friendly and accommodating and I had a great time with Braulio and Lej, the owner. Location is really great right on the edge of Colonia Americana and walking distance to the historic center. It's an old building so has mold, beware if you are sensitive but it's a real authentic urban Mexican experience probably best suited to more adventurous types. Hot showers were a nice surprise!

Good location and cheap private room however it was more of a lean to that was made into a room. It was damp, had black mould on the ceiling and had poor ventilation so was very hot at night. When I went to the toilet in the night about 3am, I saw the front door was wide open and I had to close it.

Needs a sign saying Erhu House. This is close to restaurants, staff were nice.

Private room. Bed was hung from the ceiling; we had to wedge our bags by the wall to stop the swinging. Given there wasn't loads of space it was awkward to sort your bags out as well. The owner is trying to make a nice environment; fish pond, net to sit on up on the roof with nice lighting but the place needs a good clean & tidy. Roof could be great but empty bottles left out, dirty table. Location perfect. Secure front door, lock on our room (but not in one of the toilets). Small pool & weights

Es una casa antigua convertida en hostel, intentando recrear el estilo japones wabi-sabi. Las literas tienen cortina, un armario pequeno con llave, flexo de luz y varios enchufes. Se puede cocinar, lavar la ropa a mano en un pila y disfrutar de todos los rincones de la casa, especialmente de la terraza con la hoguera por la noche. Pascual y Braulio estan siempre para ayudarte en todo y los totopos que hacen para el desayuno son caseros.

Braulio fue muy atento 👍👍👍 por supuesto que regresaré

This was a great place to start my trip. The owner has given hostel a unique wabi sabi style and took the time to explain and show me around the house. The location of the hostel is IDEAL! Just blocks away from markets, cathedrals and museums; it’s also an easy walk to Chapultepec and just blocks away from the metro that can take you all over town. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to really get to know the city!

Cerca a los supermercados y a una distancia caminable al centro y puntos turísticos de la ciudad, tiene agua gratis, desayuno, cocina y ofrecen servicio de venta de comida. Todo bien con el staffing. Hay una terraza para hacer asados

Me gustó este hostal. Bien ubicado. El dueño fue muy amable y cuidaba mucho el hostal.

Los chicos voluntarios fueron muy amigables conmigo, te hacen sentir como si fueras parte de la familia. Tanto Oscar, Andro, chio, Milu y Caleb. Inclusive algunos huéspedes deciden quedarse más tiempo por la acogida calurosa. Me gustó tbm que tuviera máquinas para hacer ejercicio y que tuviera una terraza para pasar un tiempo a solas. Me gustaría que las literas tuvieran escaleras de madera no balanceables nomás porque hacen mucho ruido.

These people are GEMS. Super kind & accommodating. A chill stay. I will definitely be returning. If you’re looking for a place to rest, give them a try. You won’t regret it :)

I was delighted by the way the staff welcomed me. They are very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is chill and beautiful. The cleaning from the bathrooms and kitchen 10/10. Overall a good place to stay...

Muy recomendable. Lo mejor es el trato humano y cercano del personal y los voluntarios. Te hacen sentir como en casa. Fomentan la interacción entre los huéspedes. La terraza es un plus. No es lujoso pero está limpio. Esta bien comunicado y puedes ir caminando al centro

Nice Staff. I'd recommend organizing daily socials as other hostels in the area.

Excelente estancia, el personal súper amable y accesible, a pesar de que mi llegada fue de madrugada, me recibieron lo cual aprecio mucho, definitivamente regresaría.
