There was so much mold or mildew in the room, I woke up sick.

This place is terrible. I wouldn’t know where to begin to list the what’s wrong with it. The positive reviews on your website are a con.

Except of great location near Jaffa gate in old city place didn’t provide much of anything .staff is not there except to collect payment and check in and needed to communicate via phone or texts.bathroom and shower is tiny and are in the same room .so floor is wet most of the time .kitchen staff are clean and coffee tea were provided but entire place had sense if uncleanliness .water was dripping in a lobby before u needed to take steps down to the street .

It’s a 400 year old building. The toilets and showers are cramped. The signage is negative. Locks on the hallways, security cameras. It felt hostel.

If it’s your first time in Jerusalem I highly recommend this place. Great location

incredible location right in the old town. a bit small inside so not much space to hangout outside of dorm but thats okay. hostel owner was extremely helpful and kind. really enjoyed our stay here

Everything is very tiny and narrow. Location in the bazar.most of the time nobody around for info

The hostel is in an incredible location. I’ll never forget falling asleep in the middle of Old City Jerusalem with the Church of the Sepulchre out my window…truly special. That said, there wasn’t much of a vibe there. No real place to hang out, not a lot of other travelers looking to connect. The room was small and too much money, and the walls very thin. No major complaints for 2 nights, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again, unless I really wanted the location experience.

I liked the archaic nature of this hotel and, at the same time, the "Spartan" self-sufficiency of its equipment and comfort, the coziness and homely atmosphere, and the pleasant owner 🤗

location of the hostel is perfect with how far of a walking distance everything is. enjoyed my stay in the old city, and recommend this hostel for travelers.

Ich war sehr zufrieden und habe mich rundherum wohlgefühlt. Von der Lage her, gibt es keine bessere. Leute es ist die David Straße in der old City von Jerusalem. Ein Traum in Gerüchen, Farben und Geräuchen welche auf einen einstürmt, wenn man die Haustür öffnet. Genauso verschwindet Lärm und negativer Geruch aber auch wenn man im Haus ist. Ok den Muezzin hört man, aber das ist nicht schlimm. Im Gegenteil es gehört dazu und ist sogar gut. Sami die gute Seele im Haus ist eine Perle. Ich ...

Quiet, peaceful, and pleasant.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hostel. I simply wanted to stay overnight in Jerusalem, without a big hotel expense. The idea was not to hang out at the hotel, when there is so much to do in Jerusalem. Just sleep + shower there in something decent. My little room with the hostel fit this bill nicely. It was as plain as it gets - two single beds with a little aisle between, plus a fridge/table - but it was clean, and the mattresses were OK. Bathrooms and showers also were more than fine.

Excellent location in the center of Old Jerusalem. Very nice and helpful management. Not the most modern facilities, but it's in OLD Jerusalem, so expecting modernity is unreasonable. Clean, organized, authentic, and pleasant. Definitely recommend for budget-conscious, no-frills-necessary travellers. Would stay there again without a doubt.

Excellent location... approx 450 ms from Church of Holy Sepulchre...couldnt be better!!! Room windowless and small but clean and comfortable. Instructions in hostel clear and easy to follow. Nice welcoming touch with the free coffee, hot chocolate, tea and dates...etc The shared bathroom was close by and kept scrupulously clean. Lovely and quiet at night despite being so central. It's challenging with a big case due to but I wasn't the typical.hosteller,who tend to travel w lighter back...

Price was right for my wife and I to stay.

If you plan to visit Jerusalem and want to stay right where it´s at, in the Old City, you should go to this cosy and inexpensive hostel. Its owner Sami is the most helpful and friendly host you´ll ever meet. I stayed there for six days and met Christians, Jews and Muslims at walking distance, living close together and peacefully.

Thank you to the home host for the kind welcome and pleasant stay. I will definitely come back here next time...
