- Manque de décoration dans de petites chambres trop minimaliste et pas assez décoré - Trop de lit dans des petites pièces nous étions limite les uns sur les autres ( mixte 8 lits ) - Pas de rideaux disponible afin d'avoir un minimum d'intimité - Lit moyennement confortable ce sont des ressorts.

The location really is far from the sea and city center, and it's uphill. Do not underestimate this if it's hot and/or you have heavy luggage. The bathrooms were not the cleanest (but no the dirtiest either)

It is very far from everywhere, and plus on the hill, so you would have to climb for about 20 mins from city. Mattresses are terrible, and bonus is bed bugs. The positive is the rooftop- nice view there, and it’s quite clean, I guess for this money it’s alright

DO NOT STAY HERE 🚩I ended up leaving early due to the state of the hostel. The beds are covered in black mold and dozens of bed bugs. The showers are full of mold and hair and rarely even work. The kitchen has so much dirt and mold that it is caked on. The microwave had years worth of filth in it. The location was incredibly poor. I had to contact Hostelworld to do a safety check on this hostel. Would rather sleep on a park bench!!!

Le staff est très sympa et très accueillant mais attention j’ai trouvé des punaises de lits dans ma chambre et ait dû trouver un autre hôtel en urgence pour la nuit. Le responsable de l’hôtel a été super réactif et était très étonné d’en trouver c’est probablement dû à l’affût de voyageurs mais pour ceux qui y séjourneraient dans les jours / semaines à venir autant éviter l’endroit, ça peut vraiment gâcher un voyage et votre retour chez vous.

Hostel’s location is so bad. Far from everything and in completely busy from traffic spot. But ok let’s say about the bad things. People who worked there knew about issues that they had with bedbugs! Probably they didn’t get a solution and continued to accept guests like everything was ok! We stayed one night and after 1 hour of sleep , my friend who is allergic got bitten by bedbugs! One girl from Italy who worked there was completely friendly and helped us to change room. But also in the other room some bedbugs bit me. We just stand up after no sleep and we left from there. Of course the bedbugs got into our stuff and we transfer those insects in the entire trip. Amateurs you are !

J’ai détesté cette auberge en un de voyage c’est la pire que j’ai fait. Emplacement: c’est loin du centre et chemin en montée donc fatiguant et surtout rien à côté pour boire ou manger. L’auberge ne vend même pas d’eau. Propreté: très sale, il y a des punaises de lit dans certains lit , les serviettes tachées et sales Confort: pas du tout confortable, on sent les ressorts du matelas, le lit bouge et grince , impossible de dormir car les gens sont alcoolisés jusqu’à 4h du mat font un bruit infernal , laisse la porte de la chambre ouverte. Bref le séjour dans ce hostel vmt horrible, il n’y a rien qui allait même la porte de la salle se bain qui me ferme pas dans la chambre, jms de papier toilette.

No vayan por favor. Es horroroso. Sucio y dejado. La cocina pareciera improvisada. Los baños eran chicos, sucios y con mal olor. Algunas personas del staff eran amables pero uno fue un irrespetuoso que se puso a gritar e insultar mientras veía un partido de fútbol. Gritaba al aire, a sus compañeros e incluso maltrató a una huésped. Después nos enteramos que había chinches en algunas habitaciones encima. De lo peor.

Everything is disgusting. Very dirty, the kitchen is a mess and very poor. The bathroom are very small and smelly. On top of that, then we knew there were bed bugs in some rooms. Also one guy of the staff was really rude and unpolite while watching a football match, he shouted and was very disrecpetful with another guest. Not recommend it at all.

The hygiene was my only concern but a big one, the bed had bedbugs, and even after getting new blankets I ended up being stung again so they cleanly don't wash these often. Some of the toilets also felt like weren't cleaned often enough

Tenía chinches, no pude dormir nada esa noche porque la cama que me otorgaron estaba llena de chinches. Quede con todo mi cuerpo con picaduras , fue horrible, no lo recomiendo a nadie

DIRTY AND WITH PESTS! It was the worst hostel I have ever been to in  my entire life. (Even in comparison to shady hostels in Bangkok or Katmandu). I guess there are so many tourists in Tivat, that the owner doesn't care at all if their guests are getting parasites. They can get away with anything. After checking opinions on Google, we found someone complaining about bed bugs. The owner replied to those coments claiming that these must have been spider bites. We checked our entire room. It was FILTHY. Bed sheets were washed, but the room itself was in horrible condition. Lots of dust, stains and spiders. The bed was an old foldable couch with a mattress on top. Underneath the mattress in the folds of the coach we found dried pieces of food, and a couple of tiny insects (probably book lice?). Then it turned out we had cockroaches!!! We wanted to cancel our stay, but they just moved us to a different room. I didn't see signs of pests, but the room was also very dirty. Only the bedsheets were cleaned. I couldn't fall asleep the entire night. I checked other opinions on Google. Owner was lying about mosquitoes. Lots of guests were complaining about bed bugs and dirt. You can even find clear pictures of bed bugs found in this apartment. The owner says only "I am sorry", but the complaints reappear every year, so that means nothing changes. I have spent half of the night stressed, and watching documentaries about pests. You can get them even i  clean apartments, but this one is clearly not clean. I am not picky about any stays, but parasites are a big NO for me. Luckily there were no bed bugs in our room, but you may be less lucky. Remember that a better hotel costs only 10-20€, but if a  pest travels with you to your house, getting rid of it  may require hundreds of €, and getting rid of all the furniture. I wish I had seen realistic photos of this place before I booked it.

They have bed bugs. First off, I want to say that the manager was kind and gave me medicine when I arrived sick and vomiting off of a long bus ride. I stayed here five years prior and had a wonderful experience which is why I booked it again without reading the recent reviews. This was a colossal mistake. I'm sorry to have to write the following. After I arrived, I asked to change rooms because the one I was given had a bathroom that was in disgusting condition, unclean, no tissue paper or hot water, and the toilet could barely flush. It was musty and gross. I was put in a three-bed room by myself which I thought was a blessing. It turns out, this is one room where they've had bed bug issues before (see other reviews on booking and hostelworld). I only stayed two nights, but I am now covered in 30+ bites, have had to cut my vacation short, and have thrown away my shoes, duffle bag, and other items while spending money to launder the salvageable clothes and quarantining the rest of my things until I get back home. I'm not sure why they would put someone who was sick and begging to have a clean place to rest in a room they knew to have had bed bugs. It almost feels malicious. The rest of the common areas are not in great shape, and there are cats with ticks walking around and sleeping in furniture. One guest had to sleep in the common area couch because her roommate kept locking her out to film adult content for OnlyFans - I overheard her telling the reception about it and yelling in the middle of the night. I'm not sure management did anything about it. This place needs to be shut down, gutted completely, maybe even stripped to the building's foundation and rebuilt, if even then, before they continue to operate. I'm sorry to have to write this publicly, but it's abhorrent that you would continue to receive guests knowing you had this kind of problem.

I'm so sad to write this review. I came here 5 years ago and loved it so booked again only to find gross hygiene and bed bugs. I am covered in bites. Manager is really nice but this place needs to be shut.

Modifica: siamo coperti di bolle da cimici da letto. Che schifo. Per 15€ a testa in Montenegro tanto vale prendere un airbnb... Sporco e poco curato, i volontari fanno il minimo indispensabile.

Bedbugs! They were everywhere. We saw many of them in our room. We reported it to the reception and they proposed we stay in another room. Unfortunately first thing we saw on the materaces were.. bedbugs! We couldn't stay there a night. One positive thing: We asked for the refund and they give us almost the whole money back.

Horrible place, bedbugs are everywhere! How's it even possible nowdays??? Just spend little bit more and book another hotel! Would not recommend it even to my enemy!

BEDBUGS.<br/>I had a terrible sudden death in the family and took the first bus to the first flight...I messaged that the bus was due to arrive late as soon as I booked and gave about 15 hours notice. Owner was incredibly accommodating (called a taxi for me after I woke him up with a call and paid in Euros for me since the ATM was out of service and I had arrived from Bosnia). Unfortunately, I got less than three hours of broken sleep thinking just a few ants were waking me up but it was dozens of bedbugs of varying sizes once I couldn't fall asleep again. I would have given it an extra star or two because the owner was so nice, but as he generously drove me to the airport, he told me about how he sprays five times a year for ongoing bedbug problems (he didn't mention beforehand), was insistent that guests kept bringing them in, that this is a common problem in the area, did not offer a refund, and dismissed my knowledge of bed bugs (terrible resistance to chemicals and firm statements that despite his efforts he is not eradicating them). I stayed in the 6 bed bunkhouse and was the only person in both six person rooms - avoid those as based on his attitude this is very unlikely to change anytime soon (22APR19).<br/>I rarely write negative reviews and don't mind a little dirt, but this is the kind of thing I would like to be warned of and I wish I had just slept in the airport.
