Looks NOTHING like the photos. Unfortunately extremely dirty, faucet was leaking, mold on ceilings, sheets stained.
There was a lot of mold in the bathroom and it smelled really bad and seemed dangerous, and when I told the staff and the manager they just changed my room and then painted over the mold in the new room I got, which I know from the other roommates who were confused with why they would paint the bathroom all of a sudden. The manager was pretty ununderstanding and hesitated to solve the problem.
What a rip off. Paid €127 for a bunk bed in a 4 bed dorm - that’s almost $300 Australian. No breakfast. Not even a spoon in the kitchen to eat my yoghurt. Rediculous. It’s in a seedy area of Montmartre. So the initial price you book for isn’t what you pay for the following nights - what a scam. I would never stay here again. There are other Hiphop hostels that play fair.
GROSS!!! Absolutely terrible hotel. My wife and I got bed bugs here and the staff have been extraordinarily unhelpful and rude. I’ve never stayed anywhere with such unhelpful management, especially when something this serious has happened. My wife was bitten all over her face, neck, chest and arms. Over 60 bites in all. I am also covered in them. When we inspected the bed closer after this event we found dirt and hair under the sheets all over the mattress, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in mo...

La personne de l'accueil m'avait demandé d'attendre dans la salle! J'étais mort de fatigue du décalage horaire! Il a fait passer tout le monde avant moi Je suis resté une heure à attendre bêtement jusqu'à ce que je le rende compte qu'il était entrain de prendre des nouveaux arrivants alors que moi il m'avait demandé d'attendre ! J'étais extrêmement déçu ! les prix sont extrêmement chers pour une telle qualité de service !
The receptionist had asked me to wait in the hall! i was dying of fatigue from the time difference! he let everyone pass before me i sat there for an hour waiting stupidly until i realized he was taking newcomers when i he had asked me to wait! i was extremely disappointed ! the prices are extremely high for such a quality of service !
Das 4-Betten-Zimmer war sehr klein, aber ok. Die Matratzen waren durchgelegen und es gab nur Decken mit Leintüchern. Das Bad war sehr alt und schäbig mit Schimmel. Für dir Ausstattung war das Hostel zu teuer. Eigentlich müßte das Zimmer renoviert werden. Das Personal war superfreundlich und hilfsbereit.
The 4-Bed-Room was very small, but okay. The Mattresses were through and through and there were only Decks with Linen. The Bathroom was very tall and shabby with Mold. The Hostel was too expensive for the equipment. Actually the Room needed to be renovated. The Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Das Zimmer entsprach in keinster Weise den Bildern. Am schlimmsten war aber die Hellhörigkeit. Die Wände sind scheinbar aus Pappe. Es war unglaublich laut in der Nacht. Die Fugen im Bad waren alle verschimmelt und das ganze Zimmer sah sehr heruntergekommen aus. Auf Nachfrage, ob man das Zimmer wechseln könne, verneinte man dies mit der Begründung, dass alles belegt sei und man nicht entgegen kommen könne. The room did not correspond in any way to the pictures. The worst was the hellishness. The walls are apparently made of cardboard. It was incredibly loud at night. The leaks in the bathroom were all moldy and the whole room looked very run down. On request, if you could change the room, this was denied on the grounds that everything was occupied and you could not come to the meeting. The location is great, but the hostel experience is terrible. Especially at the price.

There were no outlets by our beds. I had bottom bunk but had to take bin out and get on all 4 to crawl under the bed to plug my phone in. The other outlets were on the ceiling? I felt bad for the other people. The room was filthy, the bathroom didn’t even have soap. The shower was unusable when I tried to use it, the bathroom flooded. No social atmosphere, have to pay for a towel, have to make your own bed, very basic room, only a 1 person lift too, but staff were friendly once we were finally checked in

very basic hostel but was everything we needed and expected, not much atmosphere in communal areas and would be handy for more plug sockets in the rooms as there were only 3 between 4 people and you couldn’t use 1 if someone else had there adapter in. other than that the location was great, so close to montmatre and great that the metro was right outside. staff were friendly and helpful always.
The hostel was was really nice and had a great kitchen facility. the bathroom was well lived in but overall clean. Had good transport links to the rest of the city as well, I’d recommend staying here!

It’s good for the price, but it’s near a not so nice matti station but it’s really close to Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre si it has a good view My room was ready super late so they’re not so organized but the atmosphere inside is really cool and the staff was really helpful and nice
Die Lage ist gut, viele Metrostationen in der Nähe und auch die umliegenden Straßen sind schön zum Spazieren. Das Hostel ist sehr anonym, die Mitarbeitenden sind nicht besonders freundlich oder hilfreich. Das Zimmer war ok sauber, das Bad eher dreckig, keine Seife und Duschen hat Überwindung gekostet. Zwei Steckdosen für ein 4er Zimmer ist schon fast unverschämt. Im Zimmer war es sehr warm und feucht, vermutlich da es keine Lüftung im Badezimmer gab, Raumklima miserable.
The location is good, many metro stations nearby and also the surrounding streets are nice to walk around. The hostel is very anonymous, the staff are not particularly friendly or helpful. The room was ok clean, the bathroom was rather dirty, no soap and the shower has cost overhead. Two outlets for a 4th room is already fast unverschämt. In the room it was very warm and humid, probably because there was no ventilation in the bathroom, room climate miserable.

Einfache, aber saubere Unterkunft. Der Weg von der Metro (Barbès-Rochechouard) hat sich im Dunkeln nicht ganz so sicher angefühlt, es sind aber immer noch viele Menschen dort unterwegs, sodass man mit Sicherheit immer Hilfe bekommen würde. Ansonsten ist die Lage aber sehr gut, Sehenswürdigkeiten und auch schöne Straßen zum Bummeln sind schnell erreichbar. Die Ausstellung ist sehr einfach. Luxus ist nicht zu erwarten, was für den Preis aber völlig in Ordnung ist. Freundliches Personal :)
The way from the metro (Barbès-Rochechouard) did not feel quite so safe in the dark, but there are still many people traveling there, so you would definitely always get help. Otherwise the location is very good, sights and also nice streets to stroll are quickly reached. The exhibition is very simple. Luxury is not to be expected, which for the price is but completely in Ordnung. Freundliches Personal:)

Great location in between two metro stops and right by Montmartre. Decent rooms with balcony. Bathroom was cleaned regularly and there was plenty of space downstairs to chill with kitchen facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. You will need a padlock for the lockers/crates and towels are available to hire for €3
The pictures are quite misleading, the room itself was as expected but wow what a difference between the reception area shown in the pictures versus what you actually walk into. Honestly the place was not bad but it was a shocking difference walking into the building and seeing what it was as to what’s advertised. The private room was clean even though the shower leaked everywhere. Extra towels were an extra euro each. Not sure I’d recommend to a friend.
Just stayed here had a double room. It was clean and supplied towels and toiletries. The hair dryer was broken but I got a spare from reception. Free coffee in the morning. It was a good location if you want to go to Montmatre/Sacre Couer, Lapin Agile, Moulin Rouge. Felt a little dangerous for us as women . Overall the hotel was average but I just wanted something as cheap as possible and convenient it fitted the bill. One does not spend much time in the hotel when there is Paris to explore!
there was a lot of mould in the bathroom and room, only two charging sockets that kept nearly falling out of the wall and were not even near the bed and no hand soap in toilet :(
Nettes kleinenes Hostel nicht weit von Gare du Nord. Man ist mit Bus und Metro schnell in allen Stadtteilen. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, hilfsbereit und passen gut auf. Die Ausstattung rechts vom Empfang geht besser. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet. Insgesamt kann man das Hostel gut empfehlen.
Nice little hostel not far from Gare du Nord. You can get to all the districts by bus and metro. The staff are friendly, helpful and look after the gut. The equipment to the right of the reception goes better. The room was well equipped. Overall one can recommend the hostel well.
Wonderful, 4 bed room, with a first class view of Sacre-Coeur. Big windows that open and our own bathroom. Hosteling at its best, at least from all our other European hostel experiences.
Things were clean Staff were friendly and informative. It's an old facility and shows signs of age especially in my room. All 'n all, I would go there again.
