Mais que Nada Hostel & Patio-Bar

The hostel is great for meeting amazing people. This was the reason for my booking. The hostel is also known to be the most expensive one of Itacaré. The place is furthermore kept not very clean and the smell is off. There was one day with no water which lasted till the night after even. Other hostels such as Banana and Che Lagarto did have water so the excuse that the whole town does not have water does not sum up. The personnel is very friendly. Too expensive for the offered quality. Nice vib...

Kitchen doesn’t have many utensils and feels pretty grubby. Breakfast is included and is amazing, you get to order off a menu and it’s very filling. Common areas aren’t the cleanest, bedrooms are good but not many bathrooms considering the amount of guests. Social areas are not social, and no events run by hostel bar a gig on a Monday.. not worth the price in my opinion

I think the staff is wonderful but they lie about a lot of things in their description. they say they offer tours, shuttles and other services that they don't offer everything is outsource to other tour agencies. Also the facilities are really old the ac didn't work, and the last night the shower broke and felt in my head. I also think is really over price for what they offer.

EU NÃO RECOMENDO! Esse Hostel tinha tudo pra ser 5 estrelas, mas infelizmente, por causa da sujeira, não é. O local é extremamente sujo. Fiquei num quarto com banheiro que fedia tanto que era impossível deixar a porta aberta. O box não era limpo há meses visto que havia um mofo imenso na parede, ralo cheio de cabelo, espelho com marcas de pasta de dentes, pia com crosta. Dava nojo até de sentar no vaso sanitário. O quarto também fedia muito. É visível que não existe uma faxina pesad...

L'hostel Mais Que Nada est super accueillant avec un personnel extraordinairement gentil, mais les coupures d'eau régulières et l'insalubrité qui en découle est vraiment difficile à vivre, surtout quand les autres hostels ont de l'eau... Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et l'ambiance très bonne mais l'hygiène du lieu, le manque d'eau et surtout l'absence de solutions proposées par l'hostel en cas de coupures m'empêche de mettre plus 🥺

Oké hostel maar te duur voor wat ze bieden. Het ontbijt is wel fantastisch en inclusief. Er was een groot probleem met water dus we konden meer dan 24 uur niet douchen of de wc doortrekken. Andere hostels hadden hier geen last van. Filter water werd niet vaak bijgevuld dus moest je om vragen of water kopen. Ik moest wisselen van bed door een boekingsfout van het hostel en het dak lekt bij regen. Common area is fijn en 1x per week live muziek is gezellig. Locatie dicht bij strand.

Lovely looking place with really nice and comfy chill out areas and an AMAZING breakfast. But the atmosphere felt a bit dead traveller wise and they lost one of my items of laundry and still expected me to pay…so mixed feelings.

O ambiente do hostel é ótimo, a localização maravilhosa e o café da manhã perfeito! Os quartos e banheiros em si são simples, sem tanto conforto, mas atende a necessidade. O pessoal da recepção, cozinha e bar são muito bacanas e atenciosos, além de ser um bom ambiente para conhecer outros viajantes. Recomendo!

Stayed in a few places in itacare but this was the best, a bit expensive but the common area and breakfast made it worth it

bellissima struttura con un ambiente rilassante, spazio comune con divani grandi e confortevoli . Playlist scelte con musica piacevole e adatta alle situazioni. Personale in gestione superlativo. Ottime le camera e altissimo il livello della pulizia.

O hostel é lindo! Ótimo para viajantes solo. O café da manhã tem várias opções e tudo estava muito gostoso. Meu quarto sempre estava super limpo, o que fez toda a diferença. A única coisa que me incomodou foi o ar-condicionado em cima da cama, que fazia muito barulho (acho que precisa de manutenção, porque em outro quarto que eu também fiquei estava bem silencioso). Hostel maravilhoso! um dos melhores de itacaré.

I stayed here for a week and loved it! Walking distance to the beach, with a live samba band on Monday night. The staff—Ana, Thea, and Milena—were amazing, and Thalita makes the best hostel breakfast I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

The hostel is really lovely and super well located. Staff and atmosphere were 👌🏻

Cute rooms, generous breakfast, live music once a week, nice staff - I will not forget the kindness from Thea after I got bad food poisoning from a restaurant just before I was due to leave, her help made the whole experience a lot less stressful than it could’ve been and as a solo traveller it was so nice to have someone checking in on me like that!

The best hostel in Itacare!!

Had the best stay back in May. Loved the vibe so much I ended up staying over a week. The staff were honestly amazing, as were the breakfast and the events. I was also ill during my stay and the staff were so caring. I felt like I had a little family there 🩷 Defo one of my favourite hostels ever and can’t wait to return one day
