The owner is rude and gets annoyed if you don't buy her tours; she can treat you very badly. The place is very far from the center. I didn't enjoy my stay there.

Although the staff was very kind and helpsome, the rooms was a little dirty, especially the toilets, window was also not working so was very cold in the room. But great location!

Lovely staff and meet so many other foreigners so perfect for solo travel!!! The room itself was a bit eh and the bathroom was a fright the first time I saw it but other than that the hostel was so accommodating for everything including booking the park tickets! would definitely stay again

heerlijk ontbijt. koffie was erg duur, vooral in vergelijking met koffiebar in de stad. ontbijt perfect. en ipv de gereserveerde dorm kreeg ik een 2-persoons (gedeelde) kamer! heerlijk! omdat het koud was, werd in de algemene ruimte een hotpot aangestoken. hier gezelkig rondom gezeten. top plek ook qya kwaliteit/prijs-verhouding

Really good hostel when you are travelling in China and want to meet some other backpackers. The staff is really helpful and the atmosphere is really great. The only thing what I missed were curtains and a small light at my bed.

Lovely social hostel! Really nice to hang out or meet people. The owners were super super friendly and helpful with info about the park. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Stayed in the female-only dorm. It was really cold at night and the ac wasnt really working. Small bathroom, which gets soaking wet after the shower (including the toilet). Wifi wasnt really working. Besides that, i had a wonderfull stay and would definitly come again!

Very welcoming host who is very knowledgable and has prepared maps for you and suggested tour routes. The host can be a bit pushy at times but feel free to take your time, it’s not a problem. Room is well suited to summer, bit draughty in the winter. Breakfast is included.

The staff are exceptional here, they really cater to make sure you have the best experience and organise your tickets for the parks etc, it’s a really good location it’s walking distance to the town and the east gate of the national park. There’s a nice porch which I met other backpackers here and the free breakfast is also a good chance to meet others before starting the day. Only negative is that the men’s dorm had a normal toilet and the women’s had a floor toilet!!

Favourite hostel! The staff are lovely with their reception kitten named Money. Complimentary breakfast is delicious. Location is good and it’s a seemingly pretty social hostel. If I come back I will definitely be staying here again.

super lovely and helpful hosts!! helped me book the zhangjiajie park and tianmen mountain tickets through them and their recommended routes were great + had plenty of time to spare. had a private room and i slept like a baby, the bed was soo comfortable!! the hostel is in a good area with tons of restaurants and shops around so you'll have everything you need there

Super social. Super cheap. Clean comfortable beds. Private bathroom and shower en suite. 30 minute walk to the national park east gate, or less than $1 by Didi. Chill staff. Would return.

Honestly one of the best hostels I‘ve been to. Super social. Staff unbelievable nice and helpful. If you go to Zhanjiajie that’s the place to be.

Amazing hostel, and such a great location! The staff were so helpful. They helped us book all our activities and were available through WhatsApp for any questions throughout the day. Included breakfast was good too, can’t go wrong with dumplings. We had a great stay!!

The property was great and the owners helped me and a few other guests connect making the trip more meaningful for all of us. Also gave great recommendations for the park

My favourite hostel in China. Lovely host, helps people get to know eachother and has an infectious energy. Great social space and delicious free breakfast. Also great help for planning the national park which was super appreciated.

Jijiehao Hostel in Wulingyuan is a beautiful and lovingly run hostel! The rooms are clean, the hot shower is perfect after a long day of hiking, and the lobby offers drinks, good food, and a cozy atmosphere. For me, this hostel was one of the highlights of my trip to China. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Hostel is nice but what makes it stand apart is the host. The lady is an amazing human being, she has the kind of joy inherent to her that makes everyone around happy. She's honest to a fault, will get involved with people making plans just to make sure they're optimised perfectly. do not look further, this is the spot you need to go to.

I can recommend this hostel very much to anyone! There is a very nice atmosphere, chill vibe, the staff is amazing and the food is also great!!

I got upgraded to a private room! It was very clean and calm, and I still got a nice social vibe in the common space. It's only a 5min ride to the entrance of the Zhangjiajie park and I bought the entrance ticket directly via them - they were really helpful with the planning. Breakfast was really good. Would overall very much recommend!

This was an excellent hostel. The staff were incredibely nice, helpful and funny. The rooms were nice and clean and there was a chilled cozy vibe in the common area. They also made great coffee and pizza. 10/10 would reccomend.

10/10 amazing stay, staff were incredible and helped us find our stay when we got lost! Had pizza for dinner one night from the chef and it was amazing! The included breakfast went down a treat, and the rooms were clean, warm and comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!
