La chambre a coûté 245 $ pour une nuit, pour trois personnes, et l’établissement était horriblement sale. Les draps étaient tachés, les salles de bain dégueulasses, de la moisissure sur les murs, des matelas sales traînaient dehors, et des toiles d’araignée partout. Une dame fumait du cannabis dans notre chambre. Expérience horrible.
The room cost $245 a night, for three people, and the establishment was horribly filthy. The sheets were stained, the bathrooms disgusting, mold on the walls, dirty mattresses hung outside, and spider webs everywhere. A lady was smoking cannabis in our room. Horrible experience.
Only two toilets ,long queues. Staff careless . Smell in rooms. Online staff careless and unprofessional. No value for money . Very dirty rooms
It’s more of a homeless shelter than a hostel. Homeless people and bedbugs outnumber the number of travelers. If you don’t believe me book a night and see for yourself!
They confused me and said no bed for me
THERE WAS MOLD EVERYWHERE!!!!!!! including the inside of the shower and the whole bathroom and the room was stinky and shady and sketchy the lady at the reception was not nice

Le seul point fort de ce lieu est le parking gratuit dans la rue. Si vous n’avez pas de voiture, passez votre chemin. L’annonce est mensongère, le petit déjeuner n’est pas fourni (seulement du lait est fourni), la cinéma room est une simple télé, et je me demande s’ils font leurs BBQ dans la courette de 5 m2. Ça pue le tabac qui rentre de cette court, l’état général est plutôt délabré, rideau cassé fermé donc chambre obscure, prise HS, etc. C’est petit, ça n’a aucu...
The only strong point of this place is the free parking in the street. If you don't have a car, pass your way. The ad is lying, breakfast is not provided (only milk is provided), the cinema room is a simple TV, and I wonder if they do their BBQ in the 5m2 courtyard. It smells like tobacco coming in from this courtyard, the general condition is rather run down, the broken curtain closed so obscure, HS socket, etc. Honestly, no small style, no comfort.
Very easy to spot this hostel if you are lost. Its the one with a consistent supply of weirdos outside. Most of the people look like they were in a scrap the night before. I didn't fancy being the next. Looking at them made me feel uncomfortable. My stomach turned just glancing at them. This is weirdo central if you're looking to connect with other like minded individuals. I guess Michael was nice. They didn't check our passports or ID(security issue). We could have been anybody...
Rooms had mold and hadn’t been cleaned, dirty bedsheets still on, mold in bathrooms, filthy floors, no proper lockers. Overall this place is a health hazard and shouldn’t even be open
Not cleaned & patients in the room . Full night he was screaming.

such genuinely kind staff. a bit far from city center (only about a 20-25 min walk, tho), but it is right next to the university and its gardens/museum. very clean and cost effective. staff will kindly answer any questions you have about the hostel or the city. highly recommend!

The place was very relaxed and everything felt like it was always clean. The 2 workers there were also very friendly, helpful and kind. The entrance door and the room door had really good locks. Great value for money and I would stay there again for sure. The only downside was the shower kept going hot then cold. It may have just been me not knowing how to operate it properly. Other than that. 0 issues.
A good value hostel for the mature traveller. Hope to call in again on my tours of the Celtic Empire. Because of erratic sleep patterns I need to use private room. Location is tip top. Lots of independent businesses in the area, and for me, close to Queens Film Theatre.
It’s a youth hostel and a good one at that. You’re not gonna get the Ritz but you’re also not going to get a dirty and expensive airbnb. It was worth it’s money, in the center of town, and came with the amenities it advertised. You cannot ask for anything more.
One of the worst hostel experience in my life so far. A socket at my bed was ripped off the wall, so I couldn’t really charge my phone. I was told they’re gonna fix that, nothing happened. The state of facilities is horrible, especially the bathroom in the opposite of room number 5. Total disaster.

When considering excellent price per night. This is a very welcoming hostel with all basic amenities and friendly staff. A unique feature of this hostel is it's festive decorations found throughout all common areas, each one carefully chosen and maintained by Shelley. Head of Decorations. I have stayed at this hostel many times now due it's conbined strategic location next to Belfast city centre and friendly atmosphere.
It’s not difficult for the price difference chose other options to stay away from this place
Bed was horrible, could feel every single spring. The heating didn’t work, the windows leaked, the shower was little more than a drizzle and oscillated between boiling and freezing. One staff looked liked she didn’t want to be there and couldn’t have cared less about the customers. Would not recommend this place at all.
Globalement très sale, il y avait des casiers dans la chambre mais tous fermés à clefs, il y avait un code sur la porte de la chambre mais celle ci ne se fermait pas bien du tout donc la chambre restait ouverte la plupart du temps, le petit déjeuner promis sur le site est inexistant, il n’y a aucune étagère/endroit où poser ses affaires dans la salle de bain, les gens qui y dorment sont très bizarres, envahissants, sales et alcoolisés.
Overall very dirty, there were lockers in the bedroom but all locked, there was a code on the bedroom door but it didn't close well at all so the room stayed open most of the time, the breakfast promised on the site is non-existent, there is no shelf/place to put your things in the bathroom, the people who sleep there are very bizarre, invasive, dirty and drunk.
Excellent. Thank you Michael, Shelley & the team who went the extra yards to make my stay thoroughly enjoyable. I hope to stay at Langan the next time I visit Belfast.

The bathroom was extremely small and not very clean, but everything else was fine.
There, the bed used to make noise, the mattress was very old, and the cleanliness wasn’t good, but the kitchen was free and the staff was very nice

it was ok, the area was not bad but not great but i ccant fully fault a place for where it is but it wwasnt somewhersomewhere id be after dark unless i was inside, i wouldnt call the place filthy or anything but seeing the stains on the beds made me a bit uneasy and then being asked to make my own bed when i just arrive, ive been to a fair few hostels now and never been asked to do the job of the staff before and not the kind of thing you want to do deal with after a big day. overall tho its ok
