Hostal Yakumama

Great hostel and nice staff, we changed from another hostel in Cuenca to this one and it's 10x better!

Stayed in one of their private rooms, nice bed and bathroom, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can be a little noisy at night, but it’s a nice atmosphere.

I took a risk staying here because there were no written review and only 2 ratings, but it paid off and I really liked this hostel. The downside was there's no kitchen and the restaurant is very expensive with no discount given to guests ($7 for breakfast is a lot for a hostel). But everything else was great with large dorms and a good location. Shutters on the windows meant it stayed dark in the morning so I wasn't woken up by the sun. I would stay again.

Fijne accomodatie op een goede locatie middenin het oude centrum. Vriendelijk personeel. Er zit een restaurant onder het hostel met erg lekker eten en soms een concert. Kamer was groot en schoon. Gemeenschappelijke ruimtes werden ook dagelijks schoongemaakt. Wat gehorig aan de weg en de douche was niet superwarm.
