Unsafe experience as a solo female traveler – employees chased me on the beach I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most frightening experiences I have had while traveling. First, the dorm room did not match the photos. The bed only had a loose sheet with no mattress protector, and I woke up with multiple bites on my body after sleeping there. I cannot confirm the cause, but it raised concerns about possible bugs in the bedding. The dorm room door also did not properly close. I had to repeatedly wake up during the night to shut it, which is concerning in a shared dorm setting. When it did close, it had to be slammed loudly, waking anyone sleeping near the door. The shower water also never got fully hot and stayed lukewarm. However, the most serious issue happened at the restaurant. The dorm price is inexpensive, but the restaurant food and drinks are very expensive. During happy hour I ordered two margaritas. They arrived tasting like simple syrup water with almost no alcohol. After only a few sips I felt sick from how sugary they were. When I asked the staff to remake them, they simply poured tequila on top of the same drinks, which made them taste even worse. When I politely asked if the drinks could be removed from the bill since they were undrinkable, the staff refused and insisted that I had to order two more drinks. I became overwhelmed and got up to walk to the front desk to speak to management about paying for my dinner and resolving the issue. Instead, three male employees chased me down the dark beach and surrounded me while aggressively demanding payment. As a woman traveling alone, this was extremely frightening. I explained that I intended to speak to the front desk about the bill, but the situation became very confrontational. Eventually they allowed me to pay for just my dinner, but the situation left me shaken.

Je n’ai qu’un mot : HONTEUX. J’ai quitté l’hôtel après une seule nuit tant l’expérience était catastrophique. Musique à fond dès midi jusqu’à minuit, avec des basses qui font vibrer toute la chambre : impossible de se reposer, encore moins de dormir. Une vraie boîte de nuit collée à votre oreiller. Punaises de lit repérées dès la première nuit. Hygiène douteuse, literie suspecte, et surtout aucune réaction professionnelle de la part du personnel. Personnel méprisant, hautain, qui souffle dès qu’on ose poser une question. On a clairement eu le sentiment de ne pas être les bienvenus. Une anecdote qui résume tout : mon mari voulait m’organiser une surprise en chambre pour mes 30 ans. Il a contacté l’équipe plusieurs jours en amont. Aucun retour. RIEN. Silence total. Zéro effort, zéro service. Le pire : au moment de mon départ, on m’a fait signer une "charte" pour m’empêcher de parler de mon expérience sur les réseaux sociaux, en échange d’un remboursement. Un mois plus tard, après relances, je n’ai jamais vu la couleur de ce remboursement. Bref, du début à la fin : une honte. À fuir de toute urgence. Il y a tant de beaux hôtels avec un vrai sens de l’accueil… celui-ci est tout simplement l’exemple à ne jamais suivre.
