Terraza del Limonar

No había comunidad de viajeros, solo entre el personal que no te saludaba. El personal hacia demasiado ruido en la mañana cuando conversaban. Desde la terraza se ve apenas el mar. El precio aunque el más barato igual demasiado caro para lo que obtienes. En fin un lugar donde solo vas a dormir. Volvería? No.

DON’T GO. The worst hostel I have been to, and I have been to ca 50 hostels. The staff/volunteers are extremely unwelcoming and rude and spoke negatively in spanish about non-spanish speaking guests while they were in the same room. I was in a female dorm but they let a man sleep there ?? and the male staff walked into the dorm with no warning when girls were undressed. The man in my dorm had hallucinations and screamed and talked to the air the whole night, I told the staff and they did nothi...

Alquilar el candado son 5€ y una llave abre todos los candados. Tiene una terraza muy bonita pero muy lejos del centro o de las zonas de interés, el agua de la ducha no funciona bien

Il personale veramente gentile, il mio arero era in ritardo e non sarei arrivata in tempo per il check in, ma mi hanno permesso di farlo in autonomia. Per il resto però per il prezzo pagato mi aspettavo di più dalla struttura, che è abbastanza vecchia e non molto pulita, i letti e cuscini scomodi

was meant to be in a mixed dorm, I was the only girl there. There was also a very old guy in our dorm, which is fine but was very uncomfortable. The bathroom facilities were dirty, there was hair in chunks on the floor and in the shower. There was no cover on the duvet. The staff were very loud chatting at night. Top bunks have no cover so was very bright and woken when someone turned on the lights. The power kept going off and so had to shower and get ready in the dark. No atmosphere at all.

The place is really old and it smell really bad in the bathroom … There are a lot of stairs and with loguage it’s really hard to go upstairs! But I really likes the view from the terasse.

AC did not work for 1 night and it was super hot, i've sent a message to the staff and got no answer. Saw a cockroach, the cleaning isnt the best. They gave me the keys to a locker that Didnt even work. Its next to the beach, but 2,5kms from the City center.

The view from the terrace was absolutely beautiful and all of the amenities were very helpful. Felt very safe and everyone was very friendly. It's also a nice distance away from center of city if that's what you are looking for, and it's right on the beach which is fantastic! Would absolutely recommend and would come back again

Top for the price!

El hostel está bien, el personal correcto y Pablo excelente. Lo único negativo que veo es la falta de consideración de los ocupantes de habitaciones al hacer ruido a cualquier hora de la noche, prender la luz, sin respeto por los demás. Creo que el hostel podría y debería ocuparse de este tema. Y finalmente los que roncan o lo finjen para molestar; son impresentables y no merecen ni una línea.

This felt like a basic hostel. It was generally friendly, but really nothing special in terms of facilities. Beds are very squished together, curtains are very thin, and top bunks don’t have curtains. Whilst this isn’t really the hostel’s fault, we felt on edge during our stay because of a certain guest who had been aggressive and caused disturbances during the night. Great staff and very chill vibe. Terrace was amazing!

Overall, everything is fine. The beds are comfortable. Be sure to bring earplugs — the neighbors will definitely be snoring. The staff is friendly. The premises haven’t seen renovation in a long time; many interior elements are worn out or need repair. It’s suitable for staying a couple of nights.

The rooms were really small. You couldn’t get your locker open properly without being on everyone’s way. There also wasn’t proper AC

Había in montón de señores borrachos haciendo escándalo, la limpieza de la cocina fue bastante mínima, y a demás me cobraron cinco euros de más, las personas del personal parecían solo voluntarios, por lo que no tenían mucha idea. Fue solo una noche pero no me quedaría más que eso en este hostal.

Very good location; 3 minutes walk to the beach, 30 minutes walk to the touristy downtown area. Convenient bus connections. Friendly and very helpful staff. Located up an incline then you need to carry your luggage up a very long flight of stairs to reach the hostel. No elevator. Nice view from the terrace upstairs. They need more toilets and sinks. Only 2 for the whole hostel are not enough.

The only cons: to be a little bit more backpackers/digital nomads orientated

Great hostel, could do with a wee lick of paint here and there but can't argue with the price. As many have mentioned, its a real climb up the stairs to access it. Done a couple of 5k runs and the stairs were a killer to finish but I love a challenge. Staff were nice but not too intrusive. Would definitely choose again the next time im in Malaga and have no problem recommending it.

TERRAZAS DEL LIMONAR es para mí un hogar familiar donde siempre me siento seguro. Es admirable ver cómo el hostal se renueva constantemente, con instalaciones siempre al día y mejoras positivas en cada visita. Sin duda, más que un hostal, son una gran familia donde voluntarios y huéspedes conectamos de forma emocionante. ¡Lo recomiendo al 100% porque venir aquí es, sencillamente, sentirse en casa! Todo espectacular. La atención y las instalaciones están buenísimas.

Highly recommended at every level. Just be aware the trade off for view etc is there are several stairs to climb -- if accessibility to you is an issue.

Really pleased with the hostel. The administrators very helpful, always is disposition to help in any possible way. The situation is excellent with good public transport available. The ambience of respect, joyful camaradery was genuine. I highly rieccomend it. Many thanks
