Bed bugs

Stayed with friends for a week here, terrible service and the manager is really rude, think she must of been on something as she had white powder under her nose when we checked in, could of been flower I guess, oh and to top it off this place has bed bugs everywhere, so we checked out early and went to sidebar which was so much nicer

-Good Location -Excellent kitchen, with stove cook tops, and a decent amount of fridge space along the wall. -Laundry has several washing machines and dryers both machines taking $4.00 per wash or dry (Dryers are awesome as they will continue to dry for a maximum of 60 minutes) -Bathrooms are slightly more modern when compared to other backpackers. -Bedding along with mattress protectors gets changed frequently by the friendly housekeepers by doing this minimizes bedbugs which infact ive never once had any isses with them here at the Xbase as ive had at other backpackers. However if you are a new backpacker please know that you are expected to be an adult and get along with everyone in your dorm aswell as everywhere throughout the backpackers even if they are disrespectful by having loud sex in your dorm room.. if you wish to call it live porn its your choice but it happens whether you like it or not! But i guess if you wish to inform reception they may ask you if you want to change dorm rooms but no matter what dorm room you go to theres no garantee that it wont happen again its just people arent really respectful these days unfortunately. Everyone pays the same price in the dorm room but yet some people have no choice to suffer as the couple whom chooses to have sex refuses to get a private room for the night. At times you may even come across others that are in your dorm room that may be controlling by trying to tell you what to do now and then, but i like to block out the noise by putting in my earphones and watching netflix but then theres also times where i cant watch netflix as i can't afford paying extra on top of my weekly rent here at the Xbase for wifi Internet. Put these things to the side and i give this place a total of 5 stars as whilst you're staying at the Xbase you can show your key card to the security out on the door of Scary Conary to get into the nightclub/bar for free and at times they have cheap drinks and everyday they also have happy hour aswell. This place is just the bomb! You will love it if you are into.. drinking a few, going clubbing, and having fun doing other activities!! I highly recommend Xbase to any traveler as its the best ive come across so far!! Even though im not going to miss the INCONSIDERATE DISRESPECTFUL guests ive had in my dorm room i must admit im going to miss staying here as the staff at the Xbase are fabulous and without them i wouldnt of had the same awesome experience ive had when i first arrived they truly look after their guests!! Thank you to all the staff at Xbase!!
