Good Cheer Hostel Lembongan

The hotel is uninhabitable. No hot water, air conditioning so disgusting it caused severe sinus infections lasting multiple days. We stayed 2 nights out of a 2 week booking. We needed to check out early because it is literally a biohazard and we prefer have the ability to breath. We requested a refund of the unused days. That was denied by the hotel. 225$USD down the drain. They have not responded to any of our emails to work this out. The ONLY nice thing was Ms. Mirtha may she find a better job

There was bedbugs in our room and we had to move away. The staff wasn’t very helpfull with the prosess, and just looked stupid at us when we said we wanted to move. Would not recommend

They don’t have hot water, there’s no WiFi inside the room, not even mobile signal, the rooms have humidity smell, the bathroom is dirty, they don’t clean daily, I left a plastic to test and it was there for 3 days, the breakfast included is small size, it’s a joke, u can choose tea o black coffee, I tried to change to capuccino and pay difference, it was a confusion every day, they give you a ice lemon TEA as WELCOME DRINK. Filthy bathrooms, hot rooms, no hot water as advertised, no towel, no atmosphere. I can put up with that, but when the housekeeping staff threw my clothing off my bed and onto the filthy floor and left them there that was too far. I do not see a reality where this is acceptable. I checked out early and asked for a refund for the final night and was refused without explanation. No apology from receptionist. Plus her weird off key singing is really off putting. Do not recommend.

À première vu vraiment sympa! Piscine au top, personnel accueillant, réduction au restaurant si tu fais parti de l’hostel MAIS PUNAISES DE LITS les chambres étaient très humides et pas très propres, je pense donc que c’est pour ça…

Unfortunately, we checked out before even staying a night. The beds are capsule beds and the entire area stunk of damp and mould. Our bedding felt damp and then the horror we found on the pillows when removing the pillow case - full of mould!! You could see the plaster cracked on the walls directly behind the bed so it’s clearly an ongoing damp issue. We also checked in and waited 4 hours for water - no showers no taps. It was really poor. Staff were understanding and gave us a full refund.

We was meant to stay for 6 nights and left after 12 hours. The downstairs dorms stunk so badly of damp, and the damp and mould made the beds wet, that people were sleeping outside. Crawling in bedbugs, NO running water, forget cold shower, there was no shower! Bathroom floor had rat droppings.. absolutely awful

Actually i booked a private room but when i went there they don’t have any private rooms from the first place And i had to find another hotel and leave And they also told that they will ask hostel world to refund the deposit but that didn’t happen

The hostel had a nice looking outside area, however the rooms were really smelly and my blanket had weird brown spots on it. The two first nights the showers did not work in all the rooms. On the third day i went to shower in another room (mine still was not working) and then they locked the door from the outside so i couldnt get out and i was locked in the room for quite a while… the let me out and didnt even apologize.. not really friendly.. except for the location i wouldnt recommend!!

the employees are not very friendly, the reception is basically never occupied, the dorm was not very clean, no locks for the lockers, not really social :/ you need an adapter for the sockets. location is quite good, it's quiet and the beds are comfy tho. still, I'd probably not go there again.

A really great hostel that’s comfortable, clean and great value for money. The best thing about this hostel though is definitely the incredible staff that truly go above and beyond. Any issues you may have for example like transport, they’re more than willing to help out. Would definitely recommend!

Super établissement, j’ai adoré l’accueil de Mitha, une personne superbe à l’écoute et qui vous aide dans chaque démarche. Le seul problème c’est la pression de l’eau dans la douche mais sinon les lits sont superbes, j’ai trop bien dormi. merci Mitha

We really like the place and overall the staff ! Mitha was the best person I ever met 💚 She was our sunshine during the days we was there, she help us for all and gives us so many tips 🫶🏻

Ich habe mich sehr wohl im Good Cheer Hostel gefühlt. Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein und die Mitarbeiter sind super nett. Die Zimmer sind Sauber und man hat viel Platz seine Sachen zu verstauen. Auch die Atmosphäre hat mir im Hostel super gefallen. Gerne wieder!

Hostel très sympa, personnel agréable et disponible. A 3 minutes à pied d’une petite plage et à 15minutes de la plage principale. Dortoirs propres, douches correctes (eau chaude assez aléatoire mais comme partout)

The staff is super nice and welcoming. They are friendly, very helpful and make you feel at home. It’s a quick walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the peer. However the WIFI in the Roos doesn’t work that well and the hostel itself makes it a bit harder to socialise as the common areas are not that big. As a solo traveler I prefer more social space to talk and get to know more people.

The rooms are very humid and the bathroom is not clean enough, and there is construction work starting at 8am. No social atmosphere

The hostel was not as expected. Construction work going on which was fine but not ideal. Not social at all. There’s no locks on the doors, no security, no locks on the lockers. Clean enough. Not social at all. The reception claimed they could rent scooters but when I asked they said no. Staff pretty rude and unhelpful. I don’t normally leave reviews but I definitely wouldn’t return. La verdad es que el hostel no estaba petado y hacía muy cómoda la estancia, la cama era muy cómoda y los baños siempre limpios. Eso sí, no había muchísimo ambiente social, pero creo que es un poco por la época. Todo perfecto en mi caso

Great staff and lovely restaurant attached. Only downside was construction work happening underneath dorms.

Really good stay, host was amazing a very helpful with boat tickets and snorkeling. Hostel was very quiet due to low season but great stay reguardless. Restaurant and pool are rearealreally good also.

My stay there was ok. I liked the hostel, felt like an hotel except for the rooms of course. What I really didn’t enjoy is that the rooms smelled like a basement due to high humidity. Not enough air & had difficulties to breathe tbh. BUT the staff said for the future they will take care of that

Très bon hostel. J'y suis restée 2 semaines. le personnel est adorable, le ménage est fait tous les jours, la piscine et le resto sont aussi très agréable

Great stay and staff amazing and helpful. Booked my taxi and snorkel trip. Comfy beds and clean. They make your bed everyday too. Restaurant at front really good and great location.
