Itaca Hostel

I have to rate the hostel lower since I definitely caught bed bugs.. I have bites all over my legs all up my arms and on my back.... I know it was all clean because I saw the lady with fresh sheets. But I must have over 50 bites....

After we left, next day we had been covered in bites all over our bodies (but now after 1, almost 2 weeks we recovered, so all is good) I checked and found somebody had the same experience 2 months ago....so I think they have to clean first all building, because they have bedbugs.

Beware of bedbugs! I got bitten every night and just hope that I'm not bringing them home. Other than that a really good hostel with a well-equipped kitchen, nice vibe, helpful staff, clean facilities (except for the infested beds) and a very central location. I really hope they get the bedbug-situation in hand.

I stayed there in September 2015. They Had bed bugs in their bes is and they tried to gaslight me that I broyght bedbugs with me. I wrote it because now I still have bedbugs because I stayed at the hostel!!!! You guys I dont know what to you!! stay away

Super friendly staff, lovely facilities and the hostel is in a fab location. Unfortunately, I couldn’t rate the hostel highly on cleanliness as I got several bed bug bites while staying there.

Stayed here for 3 nights the first night I informed the staff there was a bed bug on my bed he disregarded anything I was saying then the next night when my friend arrived she also found them on her bed we told the staff and they said it’s impossible then later on said they would clean our beds we then came back that night and found another on our bed.

tons of bedbugs, have a lot of bites and saw 3 bedbugs on my mattress. and the room smelled very musty especially at night
