Batur Volcano Basecamp

Each property on this site is apparently owned by different people. This unit, number 1, requires that the hike tour be booked through him. I was informed by a different operator (less expensive) that if I attempted to motorbike off the property in the middle of the night to reach the alternative guiding operation that I would be followed. The owner was not on site, and thus communication was inconsistent. Staff operate under different managers, non for this unit, and English is a challenge.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gelegen und super süß und sauber hergerichtet. Die Vermieter sind super lieb und kümmern sich um dich. Hier kann man die Sunrise Wanderung vor Ort buchen und zahlt einen fairen Preis und bekommt einen privaten Guide dazu. Außerdem kann man sich einen Scooter direkt dort leihen. Den braucht man auch weil es zu Restaurants 10min mit Roller sind. Die Unterkunft lieber per Booking.com buchen, oder der Nummer auf Whatsapp schreiben. Zu finden: Batur Cottages Lake V...

Ich war wirklich begeistert von der Unterkunft. Super schön angelegt, tolle Aussicht und gemütliche Hütte. Die Gastgeberinnen waren wirklich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Hinweis: falls ihr das Hostel sucht, werdet ihr es in Kintamani unter "Bali Cottages Lake View" finden!

We had the best night at these beautiful cottages overlooking the Batur Lake! It was situated perfectly for our sunrise Mt Batur hike, and to make things even easier for us Wayan (our host) picked us up at 3am to drop us to the beginning of the hike! Thank you Wayan :)))
