Bed bugs in multiple friends beds

Absolutely lovely staff however had issues with bed bugs in the bed (which I have photos of as I woke up to see crawling around in the bed 😬) and my arms and legs are covered in bites now. Staff were very kind about this and reported it to the manager. Also had to move 3 different rooms due to renovation works. The bar on the top floor is great

Super dirty all around. Sheets were stained, found a bed bug my last morning right before I left. Bed were also so squeaky it was almost funny. The staff were good though and the rooftop was fun and it was easy to meet people. Would just recommend staying at another hostel and coming to the bar to socialize

BEDBUGS!!!! Very nice hostel and super lovely staff who were great during our whole stay. Unfortunately we got bedbugs during our stay… we left the 15/4 and that is also the day we discovered them.

Beware! this hostel is not worthy of 9.5 stars and the only reason they have high reviews is because when you check out they physically take your phone and go the hostel world app and offer 10% off your entire stay if you leave a good review. This is uncaceptable, I’m very against bribing reviews and therefore i would recommend you stay elsewhere. There was no proper liquid hand soap in my room even after asking reception. vibes were also not amazing. had one bed bug and cockroaches upstairs

Do not stay here. They have bedbugs in the rooms which I found. The main reason for the poor review however is that many of the reviews for this place are fake as there are signs all around saying that you get free drinks for good reviews. I do not like when hostels do this as it is misleading for travellers. Stay somewhere else.

Probably the worst hostel I’ve been to, the whole property looks nothing like the advertised photos, it felt like a prison. The room was filthy, cramped and felt like there was bed bugs. Left less than 30 mins into checking in and booked somewhere else. Completely disappointed, if I could score less I would

Das Hanoi Backpackers Hostel & Rooftop Bar ist um das Dach herum gebaut: eine laute, soziale Terrasse mit Musik, Aktivitäten, Pub-Crawling-Energie und einem einfachen Weg ins Nachtleben von Hanoi. Der Ort liegt direkt im Altviertel in der Nähe der Beer Street, also ist es am besten für Rucksacktouristen geeignet, die Bars, späte Nächte und schnellen Zugang zu Tour-Schreibtischen anstelle von ruhiger Erholungszeit wünschen. Das Frühstück ist ein wirklich schöner Punkt, mit dem Buffet und dem Speck, das mehr als die Zimmer hervorstechen. Das Hostel kann auch nützlich sein, um Ha Giang Loop und Ha Long Bay-Trips zu buchen, obwohl die Preisgestaltung und Organisation sorgfältig überprüft werden müssen. Die Zimmer sind der Kompromiss. Die Schlafsäle können sehr eng, dunkel, stickig und kurz auf Taschenplatz sein, wobei eine kombinierte Dusche / Toilette größere Räume bedient. Private Zimmer scheinen besonders uneben zu sein: Einige befinden sich in einem separaten Gebäude oder einem Nebengebäude, manchmal mit schlechter WLAN, schlechter Schalldämmung, Wasserleitungsproblemen oder einem Layout, das sich vom Hauptgesellschaftsbereich getrennt anfühlt. Das ist ein Partyhostel mit einem rauen Rand, nicht eine polierte Basis. Es passt zu Reisenden, denen die Lage, die Energie auf dem Dach, das Frühstück und das Treffen mit Menschen am wichtigsten sind und die Lärm, enge Zimmer und inkonsistente Einrichtungen tolerieren können.

- Reinheit ist ein wichtiges Anliegen, auch schmutzige Bäder, befleckte Bettwäsche, Schimmel, schlechte Gerüche und Schädlingsspuren.
- Geräusche können von der Beer Street, dem Dach, dem Gangverkehr, Schließfächern, Bauwerken und Nachtfeiern sehr laut sein.
- Private Zimmer sind im Vergleich zu Hotels oder anderen Hostels in der Nähe möglicherweise nicht sehr teuer.
- Einrichtungen können unzuverlässig sein, einschließlich heißes Wasser, WLAN, Klimaanlage, Schränke, Duschen, Stecker, Handtücher und Zimmersicherheit.
