Beware of bed bugs - I would not recommend this place to anyone. I left the hostel because there were bed bugs crawling on the floor and around the room, and instead of taking responsibility, the owner tried to blame me, even saying that “because I’m Sri Lankan I must have brought the bugs.” That level of disrespect and discrimination is unbelievable and completely unacceptable in hospitality. The room was not clean, the situation was handled unprofessionally, and the attitude from management was shocking.

Be careful, bedbugs here!! We booked a room for two nights, and on the first night a girl in our dorm discovered that there were bedbugs in the room. So we immediately packed up our stuff and left. When we tried to talk to the owner about this issue, he just told us that we should stop acting like pussies. We didn’t get any money back. The way we and other people were treated was very disrespectful concerning this issue.

Awful experience. Private room FULL of cockroaches, dorm room with bedbugs! The owner did not care at all about this issue - he put some spray and said it’s solved. In terms of safety and location was ok.

Una amiga mía me alertó de que había chinches el ultimo día que estaba pero yo no vi ninguna. Es verdad que me levante con picadas que intuí que eran de mosquitos pro evidentemente no era asi. Tras las lluvias supongo que han tenido un rebrote. el personal encantador por eso, pero creo que siguen teniendo un problema de chinches que no se esta tratando. mucho animo a quien se quedé ahí y elijan bien el hostel! repito, el personal encantador igualmente

Mauvaise surprise que de trouver une punaise de lit dans mon lit. On a quand même fait constaté au gérant en compagnie de toutes les room mate présentes ce jour là, il y a 4 jours. De là, le gérant nous a dit qu'il avait dû fermer l'auberge en septembre pour justement la même problématique !!!! De base, je devais rester 3 nuits, franchement, je ne suis restée qu'une nuit. Aucun geste commercial pour ça, surtout que le propriétaire nous avait confié juste avant avoir fermé l'établissement le mis dernier. La connexion wifi est excellente qu'au nouveau de l'accueil. Ne pas s'attendre à avoir une excellente connexion pour les chambres se trouvant sur le rooftop et le rooftop. Bref. Mise à part la situation géographique, oui d'avoir un roof top, une piscine mais en maintenance, je ne suis pas du tout satisfaite du rapport qualité prix et du service

This hostel was a nightmare! There were BEDBUGS in the dorm, even though the owner kept saying everything is “cleaned.” We had to sleep outside cause it was impossible to stay inside. The owner was very rude & showed no respect. We only got money back for the next nights... Besides NO pool, NO security! AVOID!!

The atmosphere is good and the staff is very friendly, but the rooms do not feel clean at all and there were bed bugs in the dorms. Also one of the staff told me he was a surf teacher and took me surfing but he didn’t seem capable to teach and asked me three times whether I wanted to smoke weed even after rejecting two times already…

Avoid this hostel at all costs.

Live bedbugs were found on the very first night in two beds.The provided emergency numbers were either invalid or completely unreachable, and no staff was present or available after 10PM despite the “24h reception” claim.The owner was extremely rude, only refunded the future nights, and refused any compensation for the night with bedbugs or for cleaning our contaminated clothing.We were even asked to cancel our booking to prevent leaving a review.This seems to be a known, ongoing problem.AVOID!

1 Tag vor meiner Anreise, waren da wohl Bettwanzen, die dann durch professionelle Hilfe beseitigt wurden. Direkt am nächsten Tag wohl wieder auf gemacht und ratet mal wer am selben Abend welche im Bett hatte und nicht nur ich, 2 andere, die ich dann am Morgen gesprochen habe, hatten das selbe Problem. Ich habe es per Zufall 1h vorm schlafen gehen erfahren, uns wurde nichts gesagt, dass überhaupt da ein Bettwanzen Problem war/ist. Ich bin dann auch mitten in der Nacht gegangen.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here, I got bed bug bites here all over my body, there was a huge cockroach in the bathroom, and the bedroom and bathroom smelt awful. There was also no mosquito net and holes in the walls so there were ants and mosquitos galore. Such a shame because the hostel is a great location and the staff seemed nice.
