Lagos Central Hostel

The hostel is quite nice with a lovely location and enjoyable roof top terrace, but they have a hygiene problem. The kitchen was not the cleanest and we found it already a bit odd, seeing parts of the staff sitting around burping loudly, but to some point that was still entertaining Once we found bed bugs in our room, it was over tho. They first seemed very cooperative and humbled by the situation, but after we requested a refund for the inconveniences we've had due to the bed bug infestation of our double room, they never responded to us anymore. It's a shame, this place has a lot more potential with actual hygiene and taking responsibility for their consequences

Upon check in I noticed the beds were quite gross. I decided to check for bed bugs, and there were clear signs that the mattress had been infested. The owner’s only solution was to move me to the bed directly above, stating the sheets had been cleaned. Unfortunately, they also didn’t want to provide a refund. I decided to sleep in peace at a different hostel.
