Green Hostel

Green Hostel was an amazing place. At the top of a building in downtown Cairo, in a street full of local cafes, it is very close from the metro and not far from the Islamic neighbourhood and Gezira island as well. The people are extremely friendly and chill. They organize activities for free in and out the hostel which you are free to join or not. The rooftop is a nice place to stay to rest with some air and a beautiful view. Facilities really simple but perfect, clean, you will feel at home.

el hostel es muy lindo, buen ambiente y excelente ubicación... el personal muy amable! estuve solo 2 noches pero volví dos veces que tenía traslados de noche y me permitieron dejar mi equipaje y usar los espacios comunes sin problema. Son los mejores! volveré!

I loved staying in Green hostel so much! One of the cheapest hostels but I was literally satisfied with everything and it still is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Egypt. I could also easily meet and talk with other friendly guests who were also staying. Especially loved the rooftop overlooking the city and the area is perfect for chilling and relaxing both day and night. Super thankful to all the staffs, especially Aly who kindly helped me with everything so kindly :)

This hostel was very convenient for the price : beds were really comfortable, location very good and staff super friendly. I chatted a lot with Michael and Salah who introduced me well to egyptian culture. I definitly recommend this place, especially if you are travelling alone 😊. You won’t feel alone at all !

Good location, nice staff (Ali and Awab are helpful and social), confortable beds, nice rooftop terrace to socialize. The building has a problem with the elevator which seems scary and not always properly working.

Green hostel is on 9 floor and there is no lift Very very bad hostel I have seen in my life Please people please don’t go to this hostel

it was a great experience that I recommend to all who wants to explore Egypt.

El personal que trabaja en recepción es lo mejor del hotel, siempre dispuestos a ayudarme en todo. Awab, Ezzateff and Aly son los tres increíbles ! Volvería definitivamente a pasar tiempo en Green Hostel. Gracias por todo chicos, los voy a extrañar !!

Best place in Cairo. Amazing facilities - all seems brand new, but with a hostel culture that would take many places years to create. The staff are amazing, the place is safe and comfortable. There are curtains, powerpoints and a light for every bunk. The roof area is amazing and shaded. Great way to meet other travellers and locals alike. I can't wait to be back!

great hostel! highly recommend to anyone staying in Cairo. even if you're just there to see the pyramids I would recommend staying here because it's right next to Tahrir square, the centre for public transport in Cairo and giza

I enjoyed my stay there! It's in good location. It's clean, air-con, safe, and got locker in room. Staff are amazing, Ez and Ali and the other one, they are nice and helpful guys. Ez saved my day especially thanks a lot to him! Also the view is amazing!

Very happy with my stay at the green hostel. The beds are very comfortable! Also the dorms have a nice balcony and there is a chilling spot on the rooftop. Michael and Omar the owners avec super friend and cool to hang with.
