HI Youth Hostel Dubrovnik

For the 50 euro I payed for a bed in a 4 person dorm. It was really quite shocking

I don’t recommend this hostel at all. Horrible place to choose for staying while visiting Dubrovnik. The hostel is up and far from the old town. The hostel should update its address because it can be difficult to find. Staff wasn’t very helpful. They didn’t help me at all. The showers are horrible and not very clean. And the worst of it is that showers are just on the first floor. AC was so insanely low, perfect to get sick. There was so much noise, rules are barely obeyed.

Bad facilities, dirty old showers and bathrooms very old and expensive, don’t stay here. Go more outside of the Center and take an uber

However the lack of a kitchen + the cleanliness of the dorms was where it fell short. Dubrovnik is expensive and being able to cook would have saved a lot of money. Charged the wrong amount and have not heard back from customer service. The kitchen facilities included microwave, kettle and fridge. Our room was nice and the eating area had an outdoor terrace. Most people seemed staff rather than travellers.

La verdad que para lo que sale es un robo. No tiene cocina, solo tiene un lavamanos para lavar platos. Los baños son un asco

Poor value for money compared to most other hostels I’ve stayed at. Feels quite dingy. Also, not the hostel’s fault but someone in the dorm was the worst snorer I’ve ever encountered in my life so barely slept one of the nights. Hostel is 25 mins walk from old town, not 10 as advertised. Showers do not lock, outdated facilities.

Hostel was allgood, but was glad to only be there for one night. Lovely staff.

Location: 15 minute walk to the Old Town. On a main bus route. Facilities: basic, but each room has AC. Only downside was there is no kitchen. Nearby: Otto’s fast food is great! There are some local bars which are also good.

Great spot! Overall clean and nice vibes. WiFi is terrible (but also the point is to go outside and explore, that said, make sure you have some internet in case you need to do some stuff online)

Buen hostal. Limpio, seguro y atencion muy buena. Esta un poco lejos de la ciudad amurallada

nice and comfortable beds with locker storage to store your belongings. the bathrooms were okay, pretty small and dirty but did the job and it was relatively close to the old town (about a 25 mins walk). the staff were really friendly and accommodating which was good so overall a good experience and would return!

No kitchen for guests, but a kitchen for staff? Why wouldnt you make it accessible to all? Unfortunately little attention to detail - hair balls in shower, dirty marks on walls, mould in bathroom, dusty and dirty hostel floor Light switch for bottom bunk out of reach? what is the point For the price it was okay for one night but i wouldnt book again Location isnt great - quite far from old town but okay if you are happy to walk or get a bus

Great place to stay for a night or two, only downside is that it’s up quite a big hill from the main town so if your planning on walking from the bus stop it’s a mission. Really friendly staff, good amenities, except they don’t have a kitchen. They only have a staff one which guests can’t use. They have a fridge and a small handwashing sink to clean your dishes.

Good location and The hostel itself is pretty clean and has good spaces for socialising but wasn’t super social (lots of big groups not solo travellers) The beds are quite small and there’s no sockets anywhere on the bed only one usb thing. Also the room was super stuffy and warm even with the ac on. WiFi is super spotty and just breaks down all the time and didn’t work in the room at all

Great staff the hosts really went above and beyond to help us with our stay. Their recommendations were super helpful and they were so friendly. Rooms were a bit dirty with dirt on the floor and sticky tiles, but the views from the hostel were beautiful. Just a quick easy walk to the old town. A great stay!
