Hostel Castello

- I got bitten by bed bugs and almost more than a week later still have the bite marks!!!

+ Located in the center of the old town

- Horribly uncomfortable beds, the shared bathroom was dirty and cockroaches were also guests in the room/bathroom.

- Staff threw me out onto the street violently Ill and throwing up. Did not allow me to pay for a late check out or sit in reception after checkout. There is no signage outside hard to find. There is no common room. Kitchen or bathroom. Bad experience

- DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL! I can't beleive no one has mentioned that the hostel is situated next to 2 clubs that play loud music till 3am. It is impossible to sleep. The facilities are bad, the rooms have rodents. No bedding is changed in between guests. For 50-60 euros a night this is a complete rip off. The hostel is located above a resturant and thw owners simply do not care. I am not exaggerating when I say that the room is so bad that I had to book a bnb and leave. It will not make you feel like you are on vacation instead like you are in some sort of punishment. DO NOT BOOK.

- STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! The staff was umwelcoming, rude and burnt out. I feel definitely bad for them, but doesn't excuse their behaviour. The rooms are small and very basic. No nightlmaps or curtains on the beds. The bed linen are placed directly on old spring matresses (no cover under it) which are quite uncomfortable but clean. Mine were stained though. Pillows are uncomfortable. Towels are provided though. There is no proper reception or communal spaces. It's just rooms over a restaurant. Attention: the are an extremly noisy bar which will keep you awake until 3 am unless you sleep with loud music or white noise which is not mentioned. I would recommend rather staying outside the city walls since there is a lot of lodging opportunities and the city is so small everything is within walking distance. You can tell it's only a side hustle for the owner and you can tell by the way you are treated. The owner shiuld really reflect on this.

- Me sabe fatal tener que poner este comentario pero lamentablemente el edificio olía HORRIBLE. Tienen abajo un restaurante y las escaleras de subida a las habitaciones y la habitación donde me alojé olía fatal! otra cosa horrible fue ruido de la calle. A pesar de llevar tapones pasa dormir, fue imposible.

+ The location was decent and not far from the old town.

- The staff treated us unfairly and accused us of something we didn’t do. Water from the shower leaked onto the floor, and they said someone had peed there, which was not true – it was just water. They were aggressive and didn’t listen to us. We also didn’t get clean towels in the beginning, and when we asked to change them after two days, they acted like we were doing something wrong. The room was cold at night, and there was no proper heating. The whole experience felt uncomfortable and disrespectful.

+ Great location! Generally clean and comfortable.

- Bathroom is en-suite. There is no real kitchen area except for a microwave and fridge in the common area and a sink + cutlery in the room.

+ Los anfitriones y el staff son super, maravillosos todos, atentos a cada detalle, la limpieza del lugar y la UBICACION INMEJORABLE, cerca de todo, me orientaban a cada duda, ademas el restaurant de ellos es buenisimo con especialidades del mar, fresco y delicioso, lo recomiendo cien porciento

+ Lokalizacja fantastyczna. Na dole restauracja w waskiej uliczce, gdzie zjedlośmy pyszną kolację.

- Pokoje bardzo ciasne, lepiej nocować w nich że znajomymi.

+ Location was amazing, right in the center of the old town. Bed was comfortable as well. Great storage space for your items.

- The room was ok, but hard to use 1 bathroom/shower for 6 people. There isn't a spare bathroom to use if needed. Bathroom wasn't that clean, and shower would clog up fast (so many sure you don't go right after someone)

+ J'ai bien aimé la chambre, le salon. C'était vraiment libre. Il n'y avait pas de restriction contraignante. Il y a la climatisation dans la chambre. Les lits sont confortable la salle de bain et les toilettes sont dans la chambre. Il y a une cuisine aussi mais elle n'est pas fonctionnel. Après il y a un salon avec des canapés un frigo, une télé. Il y a -20% au restaurant de l'auberge de jeunesse si vous payez par espèce. Les quantités sont genereuse. Le personnel est sympa. Merci encore Marta pour votre accueil.
