Very unprofessional staff. Seems that they do the customers a favour by letting us in. Toilet wasn't functional for good 3 days... We had to go to toilet on the extreme side of my hostel. No electricity when I entered the hostel. Never ever will I book again.
Too many beds in the room and no space to store bags. Not enough poweroutlets for each person to charge their phone overnight. Impossible to move quietly about the room due to the loud door, creaky floors and tripping over everyone’s things. Only one window, and it became so hot (end of July 2024), that by 3am I still couldn’t sleep and eventually took my pillow to sleep outside. Worst nights sleep I’ve ever had in a hostel. Also 1 toilet, 2showers shared between ~25people
15 paying guests plus staff, 1 toilet and 2 showers… self explanatory. Bunk beds from IKEA… not so sturdy and no place to store luggage in room. Bring your own lock. You literally get what you’re paying for.
The rooms, showers and kitchen are very dirty. You also can’t lock every room with your keycard, so I didn’t feel too safe in the night. The rooms are very small. You are literally head to head in the beds. The staff and guests are very nice though. The location is good and the town is beautiful and very safe. When you are in Annecy, don’t stay here…
Eine Toilette für ca 15-20 Gäste und Mitarbeiter… Die Zimmer sind zu klein und haben mehr Betten als auf den Fotos. Alles wirkt chaotisch und nicht sauber, besonders die Küche. A toilet for about 15-20 guests and staff... The rooms are too small and have more beds than on the photos. Everything looks chaotic and not clean, especially the kitchen. When washing dishes or washing hands you felt dirtier than before. The staff varies from very friendly to indifferently bored. Also there was the smell: it seemed as if someone had poured a jar of fondue into one of the cracks. The bar was good but overall it was also cheap...
Küche war sehr dreckig, prinzipiell wirkte alles sehr chaotisch und es roch durchgehend nach Käse. Im Haus gab es EINE Toilette für 15-20 Gäste+ Mitarbeiter?! Zimmer sind vollgestellt mit Betten und dadurch sehr klein. Nicht ausreichend Steckdosen für alle Gäste und diese sind auch noch an ungünstigen Orten angebracht. Das Personal war beim Check In sehr freundlich, wirkte danach aber immer eher gelangweilt und desinteressiert. Die Bar zwischen den Hostels war ganz gut, schließlich jedo...
The kitchen was very dirty, basically everything looked very messy and it smelled like cheese all the time. In the house there was ONE toilet for 15-20 Guests+ Staff?! rooms are full of beds and therefore very small. not enough outlets for all guests and these are also placed in unfavorable places. the staff was very friendly at check in, but always seemed rather bored and disinterested afterwards. the bar between the hostels was quite good, but eventually around 10
J’ai beaucoup aimé mon séjour dans la ville, en revanche, l’auberge a pas mal de points à améliorer. Pour avoir fait quand même quelques auberges, celle ci est assez sale et en termes de sécurité c’est la cata… beaucoup de gens de la ville fréquentent le bar pourtant c’est complètement porte ouverte pour aller voir dans les chambres. Même pas de casiers ! Sinon le personnel est très sympa et l’emplacement est bon, mais il faudrait vraiment faire des efforts sur la sécurit...
I really enjoyed my stay in the city, however, the hostel has quite a few points to improve. for having done a few hostels anyway, this one is pretty dirty and in terms of security it's la cata... a lot of people from the city frequent the bar yet it's completely open door to go see in the rooms. not even lockers ! otherwise the staff is very nice and the location is good, but you really should make an effort on safety and cleanliness !
Place is great. Not breakfast but a nice kitchen I don’t mind.

Cute building and beer garden. Room was quite small, the room’s door didn’t lock and it only had very small lockers. Only 1 bathroom and 2 showers for the whole building. Location was good, near the old town.

good location, loved the yard outside with a bar and restaurant, bike rentals were great, nice sized common rooms. only complaint is that there was only one bathroom for a whole house of people. shower room also wasn’t great.
Das Licht im Aufenthaltsraum geht bereits nach sehr kurzer Zeit wieder aus, sofern man sich nicht nicht ständig bewegt. Ein einfacher Lichtschalter wäre sinnvoller .
The light in the living room goes out after a very short time, unless you are constantly moving.

The greatest Hostel I stayed in so far! Super cute and very clean. I wish I could stayed longer. The only thing is there are quite few toilets.

Perfect & centrally located with free parking around the corner for our one-night stay passing through town. Great beergarden & comfy beds!
Location, staff and especially the atmosphere of the beer garden made this hostel really special. would be ideal if there were some nets on the windows because i got bitten all over by mozzies. would defintely return, Annecy is amazing

Frankly it was top notch overall and the staff was super nice but there's a lot of work to be done on the cleanliness!
The bike rental is definitely worth it! €18 for a full day makes the lake loop doable or just to get around town.

I loved the staff here, they were all so friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar downstairs was fun and convenient to have there. The room was a bit small for 5 people and there was only one toilet for the whole house. Overall a good atmosphere here, would stay again!
