Joey's Hostel Agra

Good location and chill rooftop. I woke at 2:00am itchy and found bed bugs in my bed. I stayed in the dorm next to the reception. I complained and they me to sleep at the common area. After i complained more and they moved me to the private bedroom. Second night, they told me to move to a diffent dorm on the second floor where the rooftop is located. I didnt check the bed because i was out late. I woke up again with bed bugs. Checked out an I went to a different hotel right accross street.

It is located very close to the Taj Mahal, and you can even see the monument from its rooftop restaurant — a lovely view! The host is very welcoming, and the place mostly attracts foreign travelers, creating a friendly, international vibe. However, I did have one unpleasant experience — there were bedbugs in my bed, and I couldn’t sleep at all that night. The staff shifted me to another room, but by then my sleep was already ruined. My humble request to the management: please fix this issue immediately, as it can spread quickly and affect other guests.

Place was INFESTED WITH BED BUGS. I woke up at 3am with a ton of bed bugs crawling all over me! I packed up all my things and left early. It’s unfortunate because the staff was nice, great location, good price but if a place has bed bugs IM OUT!

I really liked the community managers in the hostel. Had a little bit of a problem with the fact that we were two girls who returned to find 4 half-naked men asleep on the adjoining bunks in our dorm room. I don't know what I expected but I thought there must be a policy to monitor the people in dorms. We had bed bugs in our lower bunk bed, my friend got bitten bad. I was on the top bunk I didn't face any such concern other than the lanky bunks, I thought they might fall every time either of us moved. The view is everything really... And the ease of distance from the Taj Mahal, really gives you an advantage for an early morning visit. Breakfast is so-so. Good luck,safe travels 🧳

Punaises de lit !!!!!!!!! Attention, l’hostel est trop cool, à 3 min du Taj, rooftop avec vue incroyable, resto très bon. Mais PUNAISES DE LIT dans les dortoirs !!!

Vraiment l'hostel avec des punaises de lit vraiment je déconseille cette hôtel dommage car il a du potentiel mais avec une rénovation..

Thin mattress . Checked in and room was not ready nor nothing cleaned . Filthy . Oh yeah . And bed bugs from HELL. Spent the rest of my India trip with extremly painful rashy bed bug bites

The place was full of bed bugs, Would not recommend unless you want be scratching yourself for a week
