South Hostel Tarifa - Kite Service Center

Muy mala experiencia. Pleno mes de agosto, 15 personas en una habitación sin aire acondicionado y plagada de mosquitos. Les preguntas y pides explicaciones por el tema de la aclimatación de la habitación y dicen que el aire está encendido pero no funciona, que avisarán a los tecnicos. En los cuatro días que estuvimos no hicieron nada y cuando preguntabas a los trabajadores, la respuesta era: " se lo he dicho a mi jefe, pero no me ha contestado". Duchas con agua fría. Me tumbé 15 minutos en el sofá y me picaron varias chinches. No lo recomiendo.

Hay chinches, picaron a mi hermana y desarrollo una reacción alérgica, lo que ahorramos con el buen precio lo gastamos en artículos en la farmacia.

¡Este hostal tiene chinches! El hostal parece limpio y no estoy segura de dónde están las chinches porque el personal te entrega sábanas limpias, las chinches deben estar en las almohadas o las mantas. Al día siguiente, después de salir del hostal, estaba revisando mi bolsa y ¡encontré una chinche en mi bolsa! La gerencia debería hacer algo al respecto, ya que no soy la primera persona con esta experiencia. Los síntomas de las chinches se desarrollaron hasta el día siguiente, ahora mismo tengo todos los brazos con un sarpullido apenas soportable. This hostel have bed bugs! Hostel seems clean, and I’m not sure where the bed bugs are because staff will give u clean sheets, bed bugs must be in the pillows or the covers. Next day, after leaving the hostel, I was checking my bag and I found a bed bug in my bag! Management should do something about this, as I’m not the first person with this experience. I developed the bed bugs symptoms until next day, right now I have all arms with a barely soportable rash.

Could be an ok hostel - good location with parking next door, staff and most guests friendly, many bathrooms - but hostel seems to have structural problems: Whole hostel with only cold water for days, 2 bedbug bites, after checking rooms we found 3 bedbug nests - we doubt that they fight the problem well. Issues with drunk guests on new years night: One locked himself out, woke all up whole by beating aggressiv against door long time: Should have night guard. Cleanliness really bad these days

Other travellers, as already described found bed-bugs (chinchas). Few hours before the trip I read about it, and therefore asked the hostel in Sevilla, how to deal with the issue. They recommended to talk about it at check-in, so I did. I was offered two rooms, no complaints at all!! But when I left, I met at the exit others, that had a bad experience. I also met long-term-clients with no worries at all. But I guess, there is better options. No warm water anyway!!

Stanza angusta, servici igienici sporchi (in particolare le docce). Per non parlare della stanza che oltre a essere davvero umida, era infestata di cimici da letto! Il personale simpatico, ma non particolarmente attenti alle lamentele presentate.

MANY MANY BEDBUGS!! I warned the owner of Southostels, Alvaro, that i had bedbugs and got many bites all over my body. He was "so sorry' and promised to lock the rooms and order a pest control company. They did'nt come at all. In fact; they just rented out all the rooms and didn't inform their guests. No action whatsoever. It took me 2,5 days during holliday to clean all my clothes, and to steam them myself. Because of high temperature washing in order to kill the bugs, my carhartt jacket and other clothes shrank and i can throw them away. Costs me in total around €350,-. And although he would do a refund, 12 days and 3 mails later, no money at all. What a straight up disappointment and a total lack of taking responsibility.

He pasado una noche en este hostal y por la mañana he notado picaduras de chinches en mi cuerpo! A parte de eso todo bien

Bed bugs!!!! I had a room with bed bugs in the wall, on the floor and some where hidden in the bed frame. I got another room but there where still littel eggs at the bed frame!! This hostel should be closed! I asked if I could get my money back but they didn’t want to.

Bed bugs. Told the guy and he didn’t seem to understand and told me it was common to have bugs inside in tarifa. He told me he would leave a note for the manager to call me the next day, he never did so I called and was told to call back in an hour when they’d spoken to the manager, I did and the guy hung the phone up on me. Ended up having to spend money washing my clothes and on a new place to stay for my last two nights in tarifa. Still no refund.

Este local esta muy cool y los empleados son.guay pero la plaga de chinches es algo que rompio nuestra estancia alli. Creimos que fue algo eventual pero por lo que leo en las reseñas esto es algo q se repite.

Hay CHINCHES y es un problema sin resolver. Tuvimos que cambiar el alojamiento y desinfectar TODO el equipaje.

Plaga de chinches. Las camas y las paredes estaban llenas de chinches, nos picaron por todo el cuerpo y tuvimos que cambiar de alojamiento y desinfectar nuestra ropa y mochilas. Los encargados no reaccionaron hasta que les dijimos que pondríamos una denuncia a sanidad. (Septiembre de 2016)

Bedbugs. Septiembre 2016. Las duchas están bien, pero faltan perchas para colgar la ropa junto a ellas y no puede regularse la temperatura, el agua no estaba suficientemente caliente. Está muy cerca de la playa y la cocina te permitiría hacerte la comida si no te la encontraras cerrada a las siete y media de la mañana. El microondas no funcionaba. Éramos veintitrés personas en dos habitaciones para doce personas, tienen literas y aún así no hay casi espacio para dejar las mochilas. Aunque a cada uno nos entregaron sábanas limpias, en una de las habitaciones aparecieron cientos de chinches que picaron y no dejaron dormir a mis compañeros. Cambiamos de hotel.
