INHABITABLE No cuentan con recepción ni con personal permanente, por lo que tuvimos que esperar a que llegara alguien a abrirnos. INHABITABLE They don't have a reception or permanent staff, so we had to wait for someone to come and open up. in any case, this, like many other problems like lack of cleanliness, the rickets in the showers or the CUCARACHAS in the bathrooms; pales in comparison to the reason for my initial description: the thunderous noise that makes it impossible to rest at night by the bar annex. it's like trying to sleep in a nightclub when there is no soundproofing.
Nobody to help with facilities, no room to meet other travellers. no hot water in the shower and bathroom not clean. The music of the bar soooo loud. The doors of the room don't close properly, without curtains, no locks and the building is unhealthy.

El hostal es muy sucio, todo estaba sumamente sucio tanto los baños como la cocina, nos tardaron todo desde la llegada , la verdad yo no regresare ni tampoco lo recomiendo
Honnêtement ce n’est pas vraiment un Hostel, mais plutôt un dortoir dans une sorte de grande maison. Il n’y a pas de réception et aucune partie commune pour rencontrer du monde. On reçoit les instructions pour rentrer via whatsapp et une fois qu’on arrive tout seul dans le dortoir une personne vient simplement percevoir l’argent.Je ne recommande pas du tout pour les solo travellers, si vous êtes un groupe d’amis en revanche ça fera très bien l’affaire. pretty roof and easy check in BUT: Dormdoor made of glass, and in mine the blinds were broken so I got zero provacy. it‘s not isolated so when it‘s cold out you‘ll freeze. the bar downstairs is so loud till around 3 am, you can’t sleep even with earplugs. toilets were so dirty and hardly ever toilet paper available. bathroom doors wont lock properly.
The hostel is in a very bad condition, getting redone but it’s not in a state to have people stay there. Don’t expect to cook, the kitchen is unpractical and gross. The bathrooms don’t have hot water, aren’t clean and the doors can’t be locked. There are no lockers for your big backpack/suitcase. One night a random woman who wasn’t staying in our room came to sleep at 6am and left at 11am like nothing happened, she actually wasn’t staying in the hostel. Also the music is so loud th...
The rooftop really made the place. However facilities very poor. Drinking water broken the entire stay, blinds collapsed entirely off the hook twice when I tried to adjust them, toilets filthy and not flushing, no hot water, beds like rocks. No effort to make the hostel social either. Good for a roof over your head and that’s about it
El hostal es hermoso! Y súper bien ubicado y muy central a todo lo qué hay para hacer, lo que permite que al ir de un punto turístico al otro, uno pueda pasar al baño, recargar agua, comer algo etc. las camas muy cómodas y te dan tapones para los oídos ya que abajo tienen un bar. Igualmente el mismo podria terminar con la música entre las 22 o las 00. En cambio siguen hasta pasadas las 00 en día de semana mismo. Estaba todo limpio, faltaba que haya un recepcionista más buena onda y pred...
The hostel is beautiful! and super well located and very central to everything there is to do, which allows that when going from one tourist point to another, one can go to the bathroom, recharge water, eat something etc. the beds are very comfortable and give you earplugs since they have a bar downstairs. also the same could end with music between 10 or 00. instead they continue until after 00 on weekdays itself. everything was clean, there needed to be a receptionist more bona onda and predisp...
Too much noise due to the bar at the bottom. No atmsphere due to few people but also due to no one at reception desk..

el lugar fue bueno en general, solo un punto a considerar y es la limpieza, pero por lo demas fue bueno.

Un hostel au gros potentiel mais le patron ne sait pas définir ses priorités : on ne peut pas avoir un hostel juste au-dessus d'un bar très bruyant jusqu'à 2h du matin, et même si on vous fournit les bouchons d'oreille. Une terrasse qui pourrait être géniale, mais pas du tout équipée ni confortable. Un dortoir de 18 lits presque à touche-touche et aucune protection contre les moustiques et casiers trop petits. A hostel with big potential but the boss doesn't know how to define his priorities: you can't have a hostel right above a very noisy bar until 2am, and even if they provide you with the earplugs. It is a great place in the center. The lockers are not in working state and there is a bar on the first floor which makes the walls shake at night. If you are sensitive to the sounds, it's better to think twice before booking. For me it was ok

The best in town. Uno de q esta en cargo de la limpieza se llama Rene q es muy amigable. Totalmente recomendado.

Auberge au cœur de la ville, un peu bruyante parce qu’il y a un bar juste en dessous qui n’hésite pas à mettre la musique très forte jusqu’à 2h. Le personnel était très agréable et ils nous offert des bouchons d’oreilles.

Este es mi día número 20 en Hostel Xitla. Me gusta aquí. Puedo tomar el sol en el gran patio todos los días. Está muy cerca del mercado de verduras más grande, el Mercado de Abastos Zona Húmeda, y a solo unos cientos de metros de El centro. Beento también es muy interesante. Recomiendo aquí.
This is my 20th day at Hostel Xitla. I like it here. I can sunbathe in the grand patio every day. It is very close to the largest vegetable market, the Zona Húmeda Supply Market, and only a few hundred meters from El centro. Beento is also very interesting. I recommend here.
The Hostel is super nice! We love the view, the rooms and the people there. The kitchen could be improved ¡Hasta luego!
Locatie is top! Zo ook het dakterras en de douches. Echter, er zijn weinig zitplekken en wanneer het hostel vol is, is dit wel een minpuntje.
The location is top notch! so is the roof terrace and the showers. however, there are few seats and when the hostel is full, it is a nice touch.
Muy buena ubicación. La cama muy comoda. El unico problema son los baños los cuales la mayoria de veces estan sucios

If you are looking for a cheap and convenient hotel that's a good one! its very well located and has a cool rooftop. However it's not clean and has no activities or gathering organised!
Good place to stay for a night for the price as the location was great and we loved the rooftop views! Was quite noisy at night though, it could be cleaner, and there was rarely any toilet paper.
