The worst hostel ever i never met. - rude staff always using bully word - broken bathroom - dirty disgusting pillow and blanket Don’t sleep their you will be regret later

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in in Europe. Rude staff, dirty rooms and bathrooms, bad mattress, no pillow or duvet, dirty kitchen and old equipment. I believe it was the worst hotel stay of my entire life. I don't know how it was rated 9; I feel completely cheated… um dos piores holtel que fiquei nos países da Europa , funcionários mau educados, quartos e banheiros sujos , colchão ruim , sem travesseiro sem ededron , cozinha suja e equipamentos velhos , acredito que foi a pior hospe...

It's enough for sleeping, but it's not really nice.. the beds feel like they're gonna break down every second, kitchen and bathroom were not really clean, staff was mostly friendly, there are hostel events every night like pub crawls, which is cool, but people were vomiting in the kitchen and stuff like that, that's disgusting. If u want to party and don't really care about the rooms, this is ur hostel, if u want good sleep and clean rooms, rather go somewhere else.

Check-in process was very slow, took 90 minutes, great way to spend a sunny Saturday. Maybe if they put as much effort on staffing the reception as they do into putting pride flags and stickers up, there wouldn't be such a queue. Very inconvenient to accept cash only, it's 2026, grow up and accept cards. Also all signs "penalty 50€ for talking in courtyard at night" etc feels a bit hostile. All in all tho, beds were good, bathrooms good, staff friendly, good prices in hostel bar.

wouldnt recommend as the lockers were tiny and the beds were practically cots. the staff however were super fun and lovely so that made the stay a lot better !!

Mild Elephants is exactly the same as wild elephants, staff didn't even know mild elephants. No seconds allowed at Family Dinners, went to bed hungry. Staff pressured a 10/10 review. Nice fellow travellers, open community, met a lot of friendly people. Daily slovak lunch with vegan options and social afternoon outings organised by the hostel for free. All in all nice experience but not at all what we expected :)

It needs renovation. One of the ovens in the kitchen was not working. Stuff was good. Andre is a flexible guy. In over all, it's not bad. For those who are young and don't care about noise during the night, it's a good option.

A definite party hostel! Super fun people and atmosphere, but definitely don’t go if you’re looking for a quiet place to rest. It’s a place to meet people and do…things… with people. My bed had hair on the covers unfortunately and the bathrooms weren’t in the best shape I’ve seen.

This is a really social hostel, with a lot of activities to join. However, some of the activities are quite expensive. The location is perfect, the common areas are nice and the volunteers are great!

Kind staff, many activities, reasonably clean. Not bad for a few nights.

Being part of the same building as Wild I was impressed that it was actually much chiller - and looked newer. Thanks again to all the staff, always very helpful

Loved the stay. It had everything I could be looking for in a hostel. 10/10 location, facilities, atmosphere and an extra big shoutout for the staff!! This hostel made my Bratislava trip even better than I would have imagined. Thanks!!

would 100% book again! Everything was clean and the staff was really kind and helpful. Jake was so fun to hang out with! And I really made some friends there. They offer really cool activities (most of them for free or cheap) and it's great if you want to meet new people. I had fun when I wanted it and rested when I needed it. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at!

Probably one of the best hostels i’ve ever stayed in, such a good vibe and a brilliant way to meet people. Exactly what a hostel should be. I did overhear one member of staff saying how she hated brits which, yeah fair enough we suck, but it did make me feel less welcome. Besides from that, the volunteers were fabulous and truly made our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bratislava.

Mild/Wild Elephants is a very fun hostel to party and stay in. Multiple activities are scheduled daily providing opportunities to meet new people and experience different parts of the city. All of the staff and volunteers are fantastic and so friendly. I spent a lot of time with Brenden who was lovely to talk to and even gave me an amazing haircut(per my request)!

Genuinely best hostel ever! Everything was spotlessly clean and beds were cozy. Had the best roommates I could have asked for. And the staff? Meet andrew. The biggest sweetheart ever. He took so much care of me. If you come to this hostel, say hi to him. Please give him a raise for all the hardwork he does

Really good social hostel, the pub crawl on friday was really fun, but theres not enough bathrooms/showers and the beds had very little privacy

i met sooooo many fun people in this hostel, but i forgot most of their names. very nice place, good and affordable

I had a great stay at this hostel! The location is perfect with several attractions only a few minutes away. The room was clean and comfortable and Staff were very friendly.

My favourite hostel in Europe! The facilities are clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and you meet new friends every day. Special thanks to Andrew, Jake and KP for making my stay really memorable!

Hahahah such a good hostel. Clean facilities and good vibes. Trivia night with Andrew was absolute class (my little pony or “adult actor”) was such a funny trivia round. Also the Greek volunteer Apollo was so helpful checking me in and giving advice for my upcoming Greece trip!

Great Hostel. Excellent location and clean rooms. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Cab's cooking is amazing and Johanna was great too!
