I have stayed at over 120 hostels and this is the only hostel I would NEVER go back to. The hostel has 0 atmosphere. I was playing music in the shower at 16:30 and had a staff member reach into my shower, grab my speaker, and turn it off (I was the only person in the shower room). I was told if I ever played music again I would be “thrown out”. Shoutout Charlotte for being a real GOAT! She was the only staff member who made the hostel good, she gave us great recommendations. Esperienza negativa, i livelli di pulizia lasciavano molto a desiderare ed è stato impossibile dormire perché fino alle 4 di notte c'è stata gente che parlava a voce alta nelle zone comuni senza che nessuno intervenisse. Posizione non molto comoda per il centro, è consigliabile avere la macchina. Nel complesso la struttura è carina ma non ci tornerei e non la consiglio

Il manque d'intimité dans les chambres. Il n'y a pas de rideaux. Seulement deux douches et deux toilettes. C'est 30 minutes de marche de la ville.

La federa e le lenzuola puzzavano, la stanza era angusta ed era difficile regolare l’aria condizionata con 14 persone in stanza. Cucina e atmosfera nelle aree comuni molto buone.

Leider keine Steckdosen, Licht oder curtains am Bett.

It was ok but the AC does not work. It is way overtaxed for the amount of space and it was boiling. Staff was variable and sometimes just didn’t seem very helpful. Common areas were ok but all outside so very hot. It’s super far from town. Bunks were very basic.

charged me twice for my stay, cash and straight from bank account. Also there were bed bugs, unfortunately.

The location is pretty bad because the buses going there didn’t exist/were cancelled so we had to get an Uber, door to dorm doesn’t even shut and the place has no keys so anyone could get there but bed were actually decent and the kitchen was really good and big, also cute outside seating areas

one of the best hostels i’ve been in! the commun areas were great, with a big kitchen. it is maybe far from the old town, but completely doable by foot in 20ish minutes, and the remote location of the hostel is worth it

I've taken 1 week of vacation and this place was for far the best place i've stayed, sadly i've been for only one night and the weather was not the best to stay longer, but Agustin super nice and friendly, super clean and tidy the whole place and nice common area to chat and meet travellers, and it was only 20 min away from the old town with a nice walk next to the coast line.

The hostel is quite far out from the old town but the walk is very nice so I didn‘t mind it much. The common area is really nice and its easy to meet people. :) The rooms were a bit small and its not the most quiet place to sleep since its not well soundproofed and you can hear people going in and out all night. The staff was very friendly and helpful :)

Loved this hostel!! Has the best vibe ever, everything is so nice and so peaceful. I would definitely recommend it if you are staying in Zadar!

By far my favourite hostel ever. Social spaces are amazing and really spacious, kitchen is great, showers and toilets are spot on and the staff were brilliant. It’s about twenty minutes to walk into Old Town but it’s a nice easy walk. Supermarkets and bakeries really close. The whole place was spotless. Felt really safe as a solo female traveller. I will definitely be back.

I stayed at Backpackers Home for 5 nights, and I had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome from the first day. The hostel was always very clean, comfortable, and well organized. I also really liked the location—it made exploring Zadar very easy. The atmosphere was great, and the extra offers and services made the stay even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

Un hostal muy hippie!! Me encantó el rollo que tenía. El personal es super amable, hablaban español, así que la comunicación fue más sencilla 🤗 desde un primer momento fueron muy amables y serviciales, gracias!! Respecto al hostal, cuenta con una cocina muy bien equipada, habitaciones con cortinas y un cajón amplio para dejar tus cosas (lo único que el candado lo tienes que poner tú) y en mi caso la experiencia fue muy buena, la gente no hizo ruido y fue muy amable. 100% recomend...

Amazing hostel for the price. The setup makes it so easy to socialise and meet people. Great facilities, comfortable, clean. The only downside is the 20-30 minute walk into the old town, so a good chance to get your steps in.

Super chill hostel, the outside area with large kitchen is perfect to chill and cook, 2 min walk to the sea. Not a party hostel but def very social. Met a lot of nice people here. definitely worth the visit

This Hostel was perfect for anyone just interested in meeting people on their travels. Yes, it is a 20 minute walk from Zadar city but it’s totally worth it. The walk to the city is beautiful too. The hostel had a lovely big outdoor kitchen and a cosy area to chat to everyone. I loved it here!

Great environment and shared spaces. Clean and friendly staff. Location is a bit far from the center, but it is convenient. There is a bus stop, market and food spot quite close. Good experience overall, would definitely recommend staying here!

Great place, a bit of a walk

my first experience with hostels and i am so thankful for it. everything was perfect and i met some cool people! :)

Beautiful outside kitchen and rooms are private and have locks and bathrooms are clean. Location is a bit far from town tho with not much nearby other than one small market for food.

Loved this place. It was a bit out of the city but you can walk the coast line for about 25-30 minutes and it’s very pretty. I had no issues walking at night by myself. Located right next to a grocery store which was great. Loved the outdoor kitchen and social area. Bathroom and rooms were very clean.

Loved this hostel! The common spaces are super nice and make it easy to meet people. Andrés is a lovely host as well🤝
