Von einem 80 Euro teuren Zimmer kann ich wohl erwarten, dass ich - um in Bett zu kommen - nicht noch eine steile Leiter mit dünnen Sprossen hinaufklettetn muss. Vorallem sollte dies bei der Reservierung ersichtlich sein, welches Zimmer man bucht. Das Badezimmer hat sehr wenig Abstellflächen.

Leider heruntergekommen, lieblos eingerichtet und dreckig.

Völlig überteuert für so ein spartanisches Zimmer. Musste ein 4 Bett Zimmer buchen à 120€/Nacht. Ein Einzelbett hat Hostelworld nicht angeboten. Ich musste durch das Wäschelager gehen, um in mein Zimmer zu gelangen. Dusche eine Etage höher, runtergekommen, WC ultra alt und schmutzig. Total veraltetes, ungepflegtes Hostel, habe mich nicht wohlgefühlt und fühle mich extrem abgezockt und bin nach einer Nacht abgereist.

Not safe! In the middle of the night, the plaster of the ceiling fell down in big pieces and several times. Very loud and disturbing. We could have gotten seriously hurt. We didn’t feel safe anymore and couldn’t go back to sleep. We had to wait until reception opened (one hour later than the sign said) and asked for cancellation and refund of both nights. We explained repeatedly that we didn’t have a safe stay. But the manager refused to give us back the money of that night. Can’t recomm...

It was dirty, full of bucks, and felt and look like a bunker. Only hood thing was a location. Shower was disgusting, no warm water. Soundproofing was non-existent. I dont recommend staying in this hostel.

The worst hostel I have ever seen.

The room was not clean and there were 3 cobwebs in different corners. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn't work at all in my room and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The reception was also not staffed during the stated opening hours, which is why I could not make use of the luggage storage and had to make other arrangements. The services are outrageous for this price. Not to mention that you can only pay in cash.

Do not stay here. My opinion is based on room on top floor. 1. Terrible “beds”, i.e. old , thin spring mattress with springs hurting your back. Dirty floors, ants all over the sink. It rained in from roof window, we got another room thx to vacancy. 2. The hostel’s top floors are a possible death trap in case of fire. No emergency exit, no exit signs that glow in dark, no fire extinguisher on 3rd floor. Superb location and the host was very nice!

infect, never seen a room like this, beds not clean, the room ceiling was grey full of whatever, i don't even want to kno... . We took a hotel after having seen the room. We reclaimed money back, but there was nothing to do. I would never recommand any body to go there.

Posizione imbattibile, proprio in centro. Tuttavia, l'accoglienza è stata lenta: abbiamo atteso a lungo nonostante fosse orario di reception. La struttura manca di ascensore e la pulizia di camere e bagni purtroppo lascia a desiderare. Anche la disposizione della cucina, proprio davanti alle stanze, non è l’ideale per la tranquillità. In sintesi, è una soluzione molto spartana, adatta solo a chi ha spirito di adattamento e cerca soprattutto la centralità.

Bon hostel mais les rideaux sont littéralement transparents et les douches sont vraiment passables. Il y a beaucoup de bruit, surtout si vous dormez dans la chambre collée a l'escalier.

Schönes Haus in guter Lage. Innen rustikal, eher spartanisch mit modernen Kunst an den Wänden. Küchenzeile im Flur und Gemeinschaftsdusche. Der Preis für die Dachkammer war gefühlt überhöht.

Es ist zwar ein sehr altes Gebäude, was man auch merkt, aber davon abgesehen kann man sich nicht beschweren. Wir hatten ein Privatzimmer und es war alles sehr okay.

It's an OK place to pass a night in Ljubljana if necessary. Very uncomfortable mattresses. Not very clean. Location is great though. We could not leave our bags there the next day as there was no staff at checkout time.

Nice locations in old town, but facilities are old and not well maintained. Bathrooms are not in good conditions.

Great hostel, everything you need and right in the middle of everything. Definitely consider this place as it did not disappoint

Location is perfect, prices are great, reception times are very good. Everything else is nothing special: beds, furniture, doors, facilities are ok but simply old, cheap and worn. However, in beautiful Ljubljana you don't want to spend too much time in the hostel anyways so who cares - good value for very good prices!

Nettes Hostel in perfekter Lage, allerdings sind die Duschen etwas dreckig.

I wouldn’t stay again but it’s fine… The location is great so if that’s what you care about then sure but its not a great hostel, and I’ve stayed in lots. We were HANDED A KEY TO ANOTHER GUESTS PRIVATE ROOM who was in there! Also shorted 40 Euro when getting our change back… and after requesting towels we got towels the size of a hand towel… really. Also not very clean, there were old socks under my bed and the showers are really old. Again, it was fine but I personally rather go e...

Ich fand es sehr ungewöhnlich, dass man nur in bar zahlen konnte und es auch keine Rechnung gab. Zudem gab es die Info vorher nicht, so dass wir zum Geldautomaten gehen mussten. Die Betten waren extrem durchgelegen, so dass man jede Bettfeder gespürt hat. Insofern fällt die Bewertung gemischt aus. Die Lage war super.

The very very very good thing about Ava Hostel is the location - right in the heart of Ljubiljana. You can feel the positive and creative energy of the akademic visuell arts. We got the great opportunity to see the world with the eyes of an artist some 200 years ago - being very skilled during lifetime without no money for comfortable accomodation. I called our room the Spitzweg-Appartment (The poor poet).

Slechte matrassen, onhygiënisch en geen gezamelijke ruimte. Wel heel mooi gelegen midden in het centrum.
