Die Lage ist in Ordnung, allerdings zeigt Maps den Weg nicht ganz richtig, was die Anreise erschwert. Die beiden Jungs vor Ort sind sehr freundlich und bemüht, allerdings hapert es etwas an Organisation und Zeitmanagement. So musste ich einmal das Zimmer wechseln, da mir zunächst das falsche zugeteilt wurde, und auf mein Frühstück habe ich trotz Absprache lange warten müssen. A fantastic place to stay. Run by a very welcoming family in the perfect location for seeing Fez. I’m currently on a bike trip around Morocco and look forward to returning here at the end of my trip. Highly recommended.

Ayoub hat hier wirklich etwas einzigartiges geschaffen. Das Hostel ist nicht sehr groß und sehr familiär. Das Frühstück ist extrem gut, und hin und wieder kocht seine Mutter Tajine für alle zum Abendessen. Auf der Dachterrasse kann man dann den Ausblick über Des genießen und mit Ayoub und den anderen Gästen bei einem Tee über dies und das plaudern.

Of all the hostels I stayed in this was by far the best one. Huge thanks to Ayoub for taking care of literally everything. The property is clean, dorms are beautiful and comfortable, and the terrace is a great place to socialise. Big compliments to Ayoub's mum, her cooking is most delicious (I recommend taking tajine or couscous if you're staying for multiple days). It is easy to find, in a safe residential part of Fes but at the same time not too far away from the centre and main streets. 10/10

Amazing hostel - we originally were meant to stay for 3 nights and in the end we stayed for 6. The staff (Ayoub) are amazing and the meals are incredible - shout out Kassim too. Very social and good facilities. Terrace is great for relaxing and Mbappé the tortoise is a massive plus. 10/10 would go again

This hostel is goated and by far the highlight of my 3 week morocco trip. It’s exactly what you want from a hostel. Majority were solo travellers when staying. Ayoub is such a nice guy and s/o cassim (volunteer) too. Beds comfy with curtains, dinner cooked by Ayoub’s mum is lovely, facilities kept clean and the rooftop is amazing. Ayoub will help you with anything you need. Very social hostel and everyone was very relaxed and respectful. I’d stay again in a heartbeat if I ever came back to...

Love love love this place!! Best Hostel expirience i‘ve ever had :) We got such a warm welcome and got treated like family. The Hosts (shoutout to Ayoub!) are so nice and funny, and the food was so delicious aswell. Also great place to stay and to peak a bit more into the culture and the city :) i‘ll be back!

Spectacular hostel! Staff are all very welcoming and make you feel at home. Clean facilities, comfy bed and a great roof terrace. The best hostel in Morocco.

truly the best most magical hostel experience I’ve ever had. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so welcomed, or experienced such a sense of community and togetherness. It felt like a home and being welcomed into a family. Ayoubs hospitality is inspiring. He went out of his way during the entirety of our stay to make us feel welcomed. If you love a strong sense of community, a warm welcoming atmosphere, and great home cooked food, this hostel is for you! Ayoub, the manager, met us outside of the Medina where our taxi dropped us off and took such great care of us from that moment onwards. All the staff are kind, generous, and make you feel like family. Ayoub’s Mom cooked us delicious Moroccan meals that we shared on the sunny rooftop terrace. La Kasbah Salam is pure bliss, you’ll love it!

Had a wonderful stay here. The staff go above and beyond for their guests to make the space feel comfortable and homey. They did everything to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Some things include meeting us to help us find the riad, ensuring we were comfortable, helping us with planning our day, and making lots of tea! It was a lovely stay and we left feeling a sense of belonging and love for the small, but charming and hard working staff. Truly a special place, you can really feel the love :)

Dit is een geweldige plek om te verblijven. De sfeer is geweldig, gedeelde maaltijden op het terras maken het erg makkelijk om mensen te leren kennen. Het is heel gezellig en ik voelde me er superveilig. De locatie is top. Karim en Ayoub doen deze job duidelijk met hart en ziel. Bedankt!

YOU MUST BOOK THIS HOSTEL! This place is the BEST hostel in Fes! The atmosphere was insanely warm and welcoming. I felt like I was coming home to family. The hosts were so incredibly kindhearted and take such good care of you. My room was cosy and the bed incredibly comfortable. Don’t you dare skip the family dinners because they tasted better than any food I bought in Fes! Trust me when I say the basic breakfast is a mammoth portion alone - you are so well taken care of! Wish I stayed longer

Es war wirklich ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Man wurde direkt herzlich aufgenommen, es ist ein sehr soziales Hostel wo man schnell Leute kennenlernt. Ich kann es wirklich jedem empfehlen!! Ayoub und Karim sind beide super nett und man fühlt sich sehr wohl dort. Es waren wirklich schöne Tage.

I had such an incredible time here! Ayoub and Karim are such great hosts and made me feel at home all the time The atmosphere is relaxed and very friendly. The terrace is a great sunset spot! Beds are comfy and I had enough space to store my stuff, but there were no lockers (no big deal for me, as I felt very safe there). It's clean enough, there was hot water all the time and the kitchen had everything I could have needed.

Karim e Ayoub sono delle persone eccezionali, disponibili, gentili e accoglienti. Ho soggiornato qui 3 notti e dal primo giorno fino all'ultimo mi sono sentita parte di una famiglia.La terrazza e la posizione sono i punti di forza dell'ostello.Se tornerò a Fes, La Kasbah Salam sarà sicuramente la mia prima scelta per soggiornare. A presto!
