St Christopher's Inn Berlin - Mitte

This hostel fails at the most basic expectations. It is expensive, unclean, unsafe & poorly managed. There is little thought for guest comfort or convenience. The bathroom was filthy, the rooms and tables were not clean and items were stolen. It honestly felt like the owners had a bar first and then decided to turn it into a hostel without thinking about basic guest needs. Basic facilities that are expected in even budget hostels, such as laundry services or free lockers, were completely missing

Place was disgusting. Sorely needed maintenance, cleaning, and an upgrade in general. Staff were fine, but the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the wall fell

Awful! So dirty - seems that there is no regular cleaning and staff doesn't check or care. There is one toilet and only one shower for 8+ people and there are no alternative showers to be used. toilets downstairs are shared with the bar next door and no-one cleans those either. There is no amenities, no common room. Guests are allowed to check in very late at night disturbing others who are already in the dorm. better hostels are right next door. this was 1 of the worst places i've ever stayed.

Preis viel zu hoch für Frauenzimmer! 2 Tage 70€ Zusätzlich musste ich 3,50€ für Badetuch geben, 1 Tuch im Hostel ist meistens immer dabei. Außerdem sowohl am Ankunfts- u. Checkout day musste ich je 6€ für 23 Std mein kleine Tüte absperren. Somit kostet 1 Tag im Frauensaal mit 6 Frauen 45€. Außerdem in der Dusche konnte man nicht mal den Duschkopf runternehmen, gab keinen sowar Duschen ohne Haare waschen fast unmöglich! Eine Mitarbeiterin blonde Haare gab mir den oberen Bett...

Rooms, bathrooms, toilets, very, very dirty, bad smells everywhere, breakfast disaster, insects... I left after the second night. I do not recommend it.

Some staff were friendly, some were rude. The beds make a ton of noise and the under-bed lockers are even worse. The common areas close early and they closed the rooftop hours early because “kids were staying there” (they were with parents though). This was the primary reason I even booked here and would not have stayed here if I knew they were closing facilities early for specific people. L'hostel le plus cher et le moins propre que j'ai pu faire. Aussi, le lave-linge ne marchait pas quand je suis arrivée alors que j'avais réservé cet hostel pour pouvoir justement faire une lessive, mais aucune indication ne mentionnait que l'équipement n'était pas en état de marche. J'avais réservé une salle de bain privée dans ma chambre de 8 personnes, et elle était dans un état déplorable. À part ça, il est très bien situé !

I didn’t love it to be honest

few receptionist weren't friendly and didn't explain well. locker room and it's wc were dirty and a bit creepy. room ensuite was nice and clean. safe for solo female traveler.

The location is great and the staff were really lovely! The showers however were not super clean and overflowed almost immediately. Also the lights in the shower room turn off randomly & the motion sensors aren’t great. This was is super inconvenient because they kept turning off and I had to get out of the shower and open the door to turn them back on. But overall it was super affordable so I can’t complain too much!

Beautiful place and nice stuff. Extra star for ability to open the window and sleep well. Would be nice if the shower was a bit cleaner. Overall would recommend!!!

Very good hostel, very clean and nice location Only should have more activities

My stay was fine I just found the smell of urine and even poo in commons area too much. The places is unbelievable stuffy from the bar to reception to rooms even opening the window not sure what It is. Those were the only cons to it. Pros the staff were super helpful with Julian really standing out an accommodating me with anything when I arrive way to early(mistake on my part) Julian was great. Other staff to give them there flowers were super friendly and helpful too. The atmosphere was great

I've stayed in several St. Christopher Inn hostels, and so far I've always loved them! The bar is great, the atmosphere is lovely, and overall the price-performance ratio is excellent.

had a really great experience here. Everything was just right the atmosphere, the service, and the overall vibe. I truly enjoyed my time and felt very comfortable. Would definitely come back again!

Fabulous hostel! Friendly staff, great facilities, excellent value.

Pretty basic hostel but there were some things that annoyed me on my stay. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillow was so huge that it was impossible to sleep. Shower was bad and the bathroom floor was flooding with water after showering. The elevator was broken and the rooms were pretty hot even though it is just April. Loud noise was coming from the streets and distracted my sleep.

It was fine for a few days, I felt comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff were very nice

Everything was fine, except for the bathroom door. I wasn’t sure how to lock it and I’m still not sure if when I went in there it was locked at all. Other than that there was nothing wrong with the place.

La verdad es que el hostal es bonito y está bien ubicado, pero me tocó el ascensor descompuesto y subir tres pisos con equipaje se vuelve algo muy horrible.

In unserem Zimmer (Nr. 403) waren alle Amaturen in der Dusche locker. Ansonsten alles top!

Brilliant location! Very central and easy to walk to typical touristy stuff. I felt safe as a solo woman walking back in the evening (although it was always still light). Bar was nice and facilities were clean. The lockers you can rent when your room isn’t ready are helpful but not free so something to be aware of (€5 for 3 hours or €8 for all day). Beds have curtains which is a huge plus and the shower in the room is good and was clean, although 2 toilets instead of 1 would have been easi...
