It's low value for money. It smelled toxic, bathroom was upstairs and the mattress was horrible. So, yeah. Staff was cute.
DAS IST NUR WAS FÜR JUNGE LEUTE.TROTZ VORHERIGER ZUSAGE GAG ES KEIN FRÜHSTÜCK.TROTZDEM WURDE DER ÜBERNACHTUNGSPREIS NICHT REDUZIERT.FÜR MEINEN VATER WAR es eine Zumutung, ins BETT ZU STEIGEN.ER IST 86 JAHRE ALT.AUCH AUFS SCHIFF ZU GELANGEN ,WAR EINE GROßE ANSTRENGUNG FÜR IHN.OHNE FREMDE HILFE,WÄRE ES FÜR IHN NICHT MÖGLICH GEWESEN,AUCH NICHT DAS VERLASSEN DES SCHIFFES. DA GIBT ES VERBESSERUNGSBEDARF.
Sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Lounge irgendwie immer zu. Muss man mal gemacht haben aber würde ich für den Preis nicht wieder machen.
Have to say I was a little disappointed with my stay here. The location was great and was the best thing in my option. The atmosphere was very disappointing in my opinion. There weren’t many younger people out and about and mainly was just older couples on vacation. Nothing wrong with that just not what I was looking for in a hostel. It was also hard to sleep with a window that could not be closed and loud speakers right outside until 4am.
Great atmosphere and nice people. Super location ! But the room on the top floor feels more like a room in a bar rather than a hostel with a bar. I guess this problem is not really there for all the other rooms but this one is not so great. And sharing toilets directly with the bar was really unpleasant, being looked at weirdly by the customer getting drunk when I was brushing my teeth...
Staff are very helpful and friendly, they also were knowledgeable about how and where to handle a new city for travelers. Art is a top man.
Brillant place!!!
If you want a watery location with quirky accommodation and super friendly staff, look no further. Thoroughly recommended.
I liked staying at Shipotel, but it’s a bit to close to the tourist attractions. But nice view
Really cool spaces. You can hear quite a bit through the walls but the night policy is pretty good. Staff was really lovely. Bathrooms not in room but all of them were really clean and nice.

Beste Lage, coole Atmosphäre, mega freundliche Leute. #LoveshipotelBerlin

Gerne wi...
Great place to stay when visiting Berlin, excellent location close to the East Side Gallery, good transit links, and Kreuzberg neighborhood (funky with lots of restaurants and bars). The boat/hotel is clean, well kept, and the staff are excellent. Very good value for the money. Only note: bathrooms are a bit small, but this is a boat, after all, so just a "characteristic" not a "fail" (I was fine with the bathroom space.) The next time we are in Berlin, I will definitely want to stay here again.
Brillant place!!!
We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed the property! Super easy to head to all the tourists destinations and across the bridge were really great restaurants! Great size rooms and lots of amenities they offer such as blow dryers. Beds were comfy. could get a little loud at night if you were facing the shore, but nothing too disruptive. Will be back for a longer stay!
Außergewöhnliche und zentral gelegene Unterkunft mit sehr nettem, hilfsbereitem und kommunikativem Personal. Jederzeit und gerne wieder!

great stay, awesome property
You need to stay 1 night here while seeing the east wall gallery - there are some great places like monster Ronson karaoke and AvA which is sometimes free before midnight if you get an online ticket
If you are looking for a unique hostel experience this is definitely the place for you. Surprisingly quiet and very well staffed. It is an older (but well maintained!) boat so size your expectations accordingly. It's not a luxury cruise but actually nicer than I expected. Quiet, and warm in the winter!
Awesome location!
Really interesting and unique place to stay. Central location and easy to get to. Great staff. Rooms are a little dated but very comfortable. Was very quiet when I stayed so not much social atmosphere, but very enjoyable never the less.
Buena estancia, comodidad en las habitaciones 🙌🏾
Absolutely loved our stay on the boat. If I could give the staff 10 stars I would they were absolutely amazing and the location was unbeatable. I was slightly worried bc it was further out but East Boston is where you wanna stay. Lovey stay! (Two female travelers. Stayed in a double private room)
Location was great, east side gallery is right outside the door and the main train station is right up the street. Lounge looked like it would have been nice, but it was closed…on the weekend. It only opened up for a comedy show, and that’s not an environment for meeting fellow travellers. Wifi worked 50% of the time, and didn’t work at all the rest of the time. Bathrooms were nice, showers were okay, but the communal hand towel in the bathrooms is kinda gross. Overall good stay.
Alles gut, Fliegengitter an den Fenstern wäre toll. Da unfassbar viele Mücken und Spinnen/ Fliegefiecher an der Spree / Hostel sind.
