- You mess up the departue date of a guest that announced they elongated their stay and showed proof of it. You tell the guest „not my problem“ while contacting them via phone, making the guest have immense stress to the level they cry. Yet you try forcing them to get the luggage back themselves after taking it out by YOUR mistake, and when they arrive rightfully pissed, Asking in a very respectful manner if their belongings are fine, you threaten to kick them out. Not apologizing not taking responsibility, nada. The lift didn‘t work during the entire stay, making it impossible to go out frequently, and making plans arpund it, as leaving or entering is a maze. Their matcha is also from a pre made liquid which is another level of lazy. And I bet their response is going to also deny any faults on their end, and trying to frame me somehow as problematic for daring to write this honest review. No refund when the guy threatened to not give me the room I paid for, so I had to pay and stay while bot wanting to stay there, this review is how YOU pay :) honest 100% review. My only interest is to make other potential victims reconsider. NOT WORTH IT.

- Two days before our stay I was notified that the central heating didn't work and that I could ask for a discount or a refund. I opted for the refund but have not heard anything back (after numerous messages, contacting booking.com, calling, ...). It has been roughly four weeks and still nothing... Apart from this I was forced to book a new stay which costed us roughly 3 times as much.

+ Die Heizung funktionierte nicht (im Dezember!!) wodurch es eiskalt im Zimmer war. Wir haben dann bei der Rezeption gefragt, ob wir extra Decken bekommen könnten, aber uns wurde gesagt, dass sie die nicht hätten. Uns wurde angeboten, dass wir einen Refund bekommen können für die Nächte, die wir gezwungener Maßen in einem anderen Hostel buchen mussten, aber jetzt weigert sich das Hostel die Kosten zu erstatten.

- Heizung war kaputt und es war eiskalt. Uns wurde beim frühzeitigen Auschecken ein Refund versprochen aber jetzt weigert das Hostel die Kosten für die Nächte, die wir umbuchen mussten zu erstatten.

+ Pomoc Pani Agaty, która starała sie jak mogła aby pomóc

- Nie polecam tego miejsca. W pokoju przez całą pierwszą dobę było około 10°C – brak ogrzewania, a personel tylko przyznał, że mają awarię. Nie dało się spać, było lodowato. Następnego dnia przeniesiono mnie do innego pokoju, ale działał tylko jeden grzejnik z czterech. Hostel nie zapewnił żadnego rozwiązania ani nawet koców, mimo że inni goście też się skarżyli na zimno. Booking.com odmówił relokacji, tłumacząc, że „hostel zapewnia nocleg”, co jest absurdalne, bo nocleg w 10 stopniach to nie warunki do spania, tylko żart. Zdecydowanie nie polecam – warunki urągają podstawowym standardom, a obsługa nie reaguje na zgłoszenia.

- DO NOT RECOMMEND STAY IN THIS PLACE Everything went wrong with the place, in first the lift was not working, a lift only does not work because lack of maintenance. The room I have booked was a 25mt2 room with a desk according to the photos , the room I received was not even 11mt2 with no desk, I felt like in jail. Everything was super dirty and smells awful Not even hot water in showers in Berlin in November!! The internet does not work, the wifi is very bad… About staff : in the night we were received by a lady from equator super friendly , but the guy in the reception in the morning named Abel was super rude

+ ⭐ 1/5 — Felt like staying in a jail cell I stayed at Mitzka Coffee Hostel in Berlin with my two daughters in a private family room, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The room was so bare and uncomfortable that it honestly felt like a jail cell — just beds, a small plastic table, and lockers that barely opened. No TV, several outlets and bedside lights didn’t work, and the overall atmosphere was cold and unpleasant. The constant loud slamming of doors made it impossible to sleep, and the bathrooms were filthy with overflowing trash bins and dirty doors. After several sleepless nights, I checked out early and was promised a 20% refund, which I never received despite giving my bank details. They’ve ignored all my messages, and their phone number doesn’t even work. This hostel is poorly managed, noisy, and unclean. I would never stay here again and don’t recommend it to anyone, especially families.

+ The staff were polite, helpful and understanding.

- The elevator was faulty when we arrived so we had to carry all our luggage up 4 flights of a dirty concrete stairwell. The room was full of flies, the private bathroom (which we upgraded too when we checked in) smelled very strongly of stale urine. There was a big bottle of urine cleaner left on the side so it’s clearly an issue that was known about. The bathroom fan (presumably faulty) was so loud we could barely hear over it. There are no cooking or washing facilities. We stayed at many Hostels over the 3 weeks we were in Germany and this was by far the lowest level in every way.

- Auf Empfehlung Ihrer Rezeption habe ich mein Auto an einem Ort abgestellt, der mir ausdrücklich als zulässig genannt wurde. Leider wurde mein Fahrzeug von der Stadt abgeschleppt, da sich die Information als falsch herausgestellt hat. Hierdurch sind mir Kosten in Höhe von 270 € entstanden. Da ich mich auf die Auskunft Ihres Hauses verlassen habe, bitte ich Sie, mir diese Kosten vollständig zu erstatten.

+ Меня поселили в номер с наркоманкой и на жалобу предложили только воды. Наркоманка была один на один со мной. Кричала целую ночь и бросалась вещами.

+ It’s next to the store and has a nice common room. Also, there is a caffee at the entrance. The stuff was ok.

- The elevator was broken, you have to pay a fee to use the towel, they couldn’t figure out which bed was mine so each time I enter the room there was someone else using the bed that was dedicated to me. Showers were very hard to use, no place to leave your stuff while inside.

+ Localização, qualidade dos colchões e roupas de cama muito limpas. Armários privados. Ao lado de um supermercado e pontos de onibus.

- Quartos no quarto andar sem elevador. Ausência de microondas para aquecer refeições na área de convívio. Excesso de estudantes adolescentes em intercâmbio (que infelizmente não sabem respeitar regras de convívio e horário)

- Leider Aufzug kaputt, aber 4. Etage. Nicht so schlimm, ich habe Beine 😉

+ Camas comodas y todo limpio. Espacios amplios y modernos.

+ otel temiz ve sıcak, metroya yakın çevresinde market falan var ihitiyaç duyulduğunda istenilen her şeyhe ulaşım var.

- 4 gun asansör bozuktu günde 4 5 kez 4 kat inip çıktık bu kabul edilemez bir durumdu.

+ Das Personal war sehr kompetent, zugewandt, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie versuchen die Gäste adäquat zu betreuen. Ich Reise als Person 60+ und fühlte mich mit meinen Bedürfnissen gut versorgt.

- Leider war der Aufzug Out of Order. Fünfter Stock puuuuh! Aber auch da haben die Mitarbeiter *innen geholfen.
