Charco Corazon

+ the sourronding nature is beautiful - shared rooms are dirty, hair are all over the floor and in the shower, which I find disturbing. We asked the staff some cleaning on the second day, they answered they do it everyday. as a result, they didn't really care much and the dorm stayed dirty. - private basic rooms are so small that you can barely fit your baggage. taking a shower means flooding all the bathroom. Not worth the 24 euros in my opinion.

El servicio es pésimo, la locacion mal tenido, mucha falta de mantenimiento. Aseo muy mal. La recepción mala, no hay ni un lugar para poder comer algo.

Mixed feelings about this place. This isn’t really a hostel and more of a hotel as there are no places to chill out and no activities offered. The location is nice, about 20 mins from town by walk (it’s quite a hill) situated next to a 35m waterfall which is beautiful. It wasn’t too expensive and quiet at night. The hotel itself is a bit run down. Light switch hanging off the wall, dirty towels, skirting boards coming away from the walls. Staff were friendly.

Nothing like a hostel. Just beds (no bunk) with no privacy at all. Because it is a hotel, no hostel, there is no place to hang out, no kitchen, just few tables with plastic chairs. In the bathroom nothing works well, they need a plumber.

Matig ontbijt, kamer net niet helemaal schoon en al met al best veel geld kwijt voor een middelmatig verblijf. Omgeving is wel prachtig.

Muy decepcionados. A la llegada la dueña nos dio ninguna información No hay espacios comunes a dentro con sofas. El suelo de la habitacion y del baño fueron sucios a la llegada. El desayuno muy ligero (pero vegan es raro). Por fin hemos preguntado para nuestra ropa antes de quitar el hostel (24 horas despues de darla) y la dueña me la trao 2 horas despues, todavia humeda (y no fria como me lo dijo). El día despues nos dimos cuenta que falta una ropa. Cero excusa cuando volvimos para recuper...

Jolie emplacement de jour, entouré de nature mais assez éloigné pas facile d’accès la nuit. Et les logements capsules sont vétustes, très humide ce qui gâche un peu l’expérience.

Cute very small pod. Squeezing a shower into the tiny bathroom meant everything got soaked and there was nowhere to dry. A shared shower block would be better. Beautiful setting, nice breakfast , lovely animals and super friendly staff

I expected so much from this hostel as it was “highly recommended”. Unfortunately though it didn’t deliver. The place is falling apart ( leaking roof) and it was dirty during my stay despite at least 2 staff members being there during the day. I get that it’s low season & it’s quiet but there is no excuse for poor hygiene. All the other hostels I have stayed in so far have been immaculate. There was o atmosphere there & despite advertising a bar this was not evident anywhere.

L’hostel propose des chambres privées dans des cabanes, à l’intérieur c’est très petit, la salle de bain n’est pas pratique du tout. L’hostel est très bien placé, il donne accès directement aux différentes randos à faire dans le coin :)

I recommand this place if you look for something very quiet, in the middle of the nature. Its a little paradise, a lot of flower and birds and close to river to have a nice swim too!! I have the little igloo just for my self and it was perfect, the owners are really nice too always helpfully!

Great stay the yoga outside was lovely as well as the homemade breakfast and the hospitality

Lovely place with super friendly staff, an amazing garden, two sweet dogs and cats, very delicious and nutritious breakfast, clean rooms. Perfect place to reload your battery.

Le meilleur hostel depuis 10 jours en Colombie, literie très bien, personnel adorable et super arrangeant. Le cadre est incroyable, je recommande aussi les cours de yoga proposés le matin pour bien commencer la journée. Je serai restée une semaine si j'avais pu ! Prendre un tuktuk pour y aller, le chemin n'est pas plat avec les sacs à dos et la chaleur ça peut être long !

Gorgeous hostel - one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed on our trip. We stayed in a double room and it was fine. Only could be improved by having hot water accessible to easily make teas/coffees and a pack-up breakfast so it’s possible to still eat if you need to leave before 8am (as there is no kitchen).

It was super naturey and cute. The bungalow rooms were kinda gross to be honest bc there were so many bugs coming in through the window bc the screen had holes in it, it was also kinda gross when we got there like the bathroom floor bc it doesn’t drain well. But the nature was soooo pretty and the staff was super super nice! Also the breakfast was fire!

Tolle ruhige Lage neben dem Rio und weg vom Lärm. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Leider ist das Wlan sehr schlecht. In den Bungalows hatte man auch gar kein Internet. Leider ist die Küche nur für das Personal. Die Bungalows sind Mini und die Toilette ist in der Dusche, also beides auf einmal geht nicht.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff/family were so lovely and welcoming and always smiling. It feels like more of a home than a hostel. Starting your day with the yummy breakfast overlooking the pond was truly the best. It’s a great location if you prefer peaceful nature sounds! It’s a little walk from the town but it didn’t bother us at all as there are tuktuks if you need. Showers were always hot and bathrooms were always clean. I would come back here!

If you pass through Jardín, you definitely have to visit this place. It’s a magical spot surrounded by nature, with super comfortable beds and hot showers. There are hammocks, a ping pong table, a waterline, and board games to enjoy. The breakfast is delicious, and the staff are amazing!! thanks for the great attention and recommendations!

A truly magical stay. The beds were super comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were absolutely wonderful. The number of exotic birds around is amazing, and the view when you wake up is priceless. Highly recommended

I loved my stay at Charco Corazon, it’s a bit out of town which I really enjoyed as the nature setting is beautiful. Nola and the whole family are lovely and the vegan breakfast is amazing. Would definitely come again! It wasn’t super social while I was there but that really depends on the people.

La lieu est vraiment incroyable ça vaut vraiment la peine de venir. Et la cuisine est délicieuse (soir et petit-déjeuner variés). Seul point faible : la salle de bain n'est pas pratique

A beautiful hostel surrounded by nature, with a waterfall, lagoon, and nearby rivers to swim in. Comfortable rooms, hot showers, organic coffee, yoga, and fun activities like waterline and ping-pong. The staff is incredibly friendly, the town is walkable, and the cable car is just 20 minutes away. We planned to stay 2 nights and ended up staying a week. You can also spot exotic birds like the Andean cock-of-the-rock, as there are nests right on the property.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen! Nola ist eine super herzliche Gastgeberin mit stets positiver Ausstrahlung und besten Tipps für die Umgebung! Das Hostel liegt mitten in der Natur, perfekt zum Seele baumeln lassen, Vögel beobachten und wandern gehen. Es war wundervoll morgens aus dem Fenster den Wasserfall vor der Tür zu sehen und zu hören. Wir haben die Bewegungsplattform am schönen Teich sehr genossen. Das Essen war außerdem top! Sehr zu empfehlen für Naturliebende!
