Monday Capsule Resort

Terrible place, the pods were like coffins which you can’t sleep in cause it’s so hot in there. Didn’t look anything like the pictures. We booked for 5 nights and checked out after the first.

Found it difficult to find the actual hostel, as I couldn’t see a sign, checking in was simple and the guy that showed me to my room was nice, however he took me there and someone was already in my room, so he then took me to another room (supposed to be female only- it wasn’t). When I woke up in the morning there were 1000s of ants all over my bed it was disgusting! I jumped straight out of bed and booked another hostel!! I went to reception to let them know, they didn’t even acknowledge!...

The beds are comfortable and clean and there is a nice enough social area but that’s it… they turn the aircon off after 10am and it’s 35 degrees here, there’s no cooling infrastructure and when you’re in a room of 46 people you could do with SOME kind of air circulation or ANYTHING. No proper showers which isn’t advertised clearly. Pool is dirty uncirculated water in tarpaulin. People screaming in our room every night. It’s cheap but honestly money somewhere else would be spent

stayed here for a week. upon arrival found out you need to put down a 500 baht security deposit. was not clear i need the physical receipt to get deposit back. staff lost my original receipt and won’t refund deposit. staff seems very confused and when asked anything thy need to get help. was always told to text someone on whatsapp which is very strange and never able to talk with them in person. paid extra for female dorm which they said they don’t provide even though it’s available online

Man muss 500baht Kaution bezahlen die man nur vielleicht zurück bekommt das suchen sie sich dann einfach aus meine Freundin hat es einfach nicht zurück bekommen. Die duschen sind Wasserhähne man muss sich große Töpfe anfüllen und so waschen! Es gibt keinen Female Dorm! Man zahlt mehr dafür aber es gibt keinen! Es gibt keine Sicherheit man kann nichts absperren es ist 24/7 begehbar und es gibt keine Spinde für Wertsachen!

Bed was like sleeping in a coffin because I had one where there was a wall blocking half of the entrance, and no real shower only communal room where u pour buckets over your head lmao. Also so many bugs on the upper bit because of the still water in and around the pool. Cheap as chips though.

i didn’t like the bathroom. Its okay to have traditional shower as option but after a long day of sweating i want a real shower. End it ip showering on the staff bathroom where its was so dirty

The check-in and check-out is complicated. There's no private shower room, but they got Thai traditional style public bathroom. Air conditioner is not turned on as scheduled, need to remind staff. The location is good near tourist spots and the price is reasonable.

Mixed feelings about this one. The location is good, close to really nice places but still in a quiet street, but the dorms are 60 capsules bed next to each other so thats a lot. No room for the bags so either keep it in your capsule or in the hall. No real shower, just Thai style, good be fun but if you like privacy thats not the best. Pool looks a bit dirty, but really big outside place to hang out. Nice but not the best

Pas l’hôtel le plus propre que l’on ai fait. On ne peut pas sécuriser et ranger les sacs qui sont tous dans le hall. Il y a eu des vols durant notre séjour.

The employees were very helpful and I liked the openness of the hostel, plenty of places to relax outside.

I had the best time at mad monkey. I haven’t booked a more party hostel before but I’ve had the best time ever! All the people I met have been so social and lovely and such a good time. There are plenty of activities to get you involved. Also thank you to the lovely ladies Mona Izzy & Laila for all of their help with anything I have needed and for being so kind ❤️

Eri was amazing throughout our stay whatever we needed help with she was always happy to help out, through start to end, the facilities here are really good, thank you so much again to Eri fo all your help throughout out stay we will definitely come back again 😊

Really nice hostel near khao sam road. They have a nice swimming pool and offer a fridge for guests to use. Eri was really nice and helped me when I needed. And all the staff also helpful

Amazing hostel in a very good location. The staff is very nice especially Jacob and Teddy Can recommend.

The beds are simple but give u some privacy, the pool and the common areas are amazing, such a lot of space where to relax, the staff is chill and once that u learn how to make thai bath thats not so bad and at least very good position, near Khaosan road but not in the middle of the caos, recommended.

Heel goed hostel, al helemaal als je de goedkope prijs ziet. De bedden zijn heel fijn, overall goed hostel. Kate is heel behulpzaam als ik een vraag had.

Staff Ari and Ren also some other staff and the hostel location made me stay and not change hostels for the week. The reason I gave security a 3/5 ranking is because my capsule was broken and I could not lock my belongings safely inside like the other guests. It was fantastic having cold A/C in the dorms although I believe it was getting people sick. One of the major downsides was being on the fourth floor and having the bathroom on the 2nd floor so far away.

Soweit so gut, Hilfsbereitschaft von dem Service im Restaurant war nicht da. Die haben sich eher über uns lustig gemacht. Online habe ich nirgends was gesehen, dass es noch zusätzlich 500 thb Kaution sind, online steht auch, dass man mit der Karte zahlen kann, das war leider nicht so, waren null behilflich, wegen einer Wechselstube... Weiß nicht, ob die Englisch wirklich verstanden haben.

Great hostel to stay for a day or two. It is in a very central yet quiet location, the pods are clean and have ventilation, there is a pool. However the toilets are quite far away from the rooms which makes it a little inconvenient imo. The thai baths instead of shower did not bother me at all, it was actually quite nice to be able to chit chat with others while cleaning yourself. Be aware that you do need to be dressed for that (either traditional habit they give you, or bikini was also fine).
