Queen Cafe Hotel & Pub

Do not take the dormitory beds. The metal bed creaks a lot, and heavily shakes. The room has only one key, not for every bed sleepers. Storage is too small for an average travel backpack. Reception is friendly though, internet is offered to every building but don't rely on it.

I booked a 6bed room and the owner has tried in all way to give me a 14bed room. Reading the reviews I've not been the 1st (and maybe not the last one) and it's unacceptable. After that, I've been moved in a room where the restroom was dirty and it was smell so bad. Btw I didn't get the key so the room was open during the night . Avoid this hostel you can find way more for the same price

Well located in the historic district. However incredibly loud especially on the weekend due to its location. We also had substantial money stolen from our goods here

Apart from the room smelling of damp everything else was fine. I was staying in the family room and had to keep the window open all the time. You can see the damp in the ceiling

It was a very cheap hostel! It wasn‘t super clean and the shower doors didn‘t close. If you search for a cheap Place to stay it‘s still fine but also not really social or anything

Probably one of the worst places to sleep in Hanoi. The dorm beds are ridiculously small. I am not tall and I could not lie flat. I can’t believe they would put adults in such a tiny bed. You can also hear loud music from the nearby clubs playing all night.

very noisy spot. single paned windows means you hear everything. broken showerhead in our room and staff were rarely helpful with booking rides to and from airport.

No windows in the rooms that we had. Very functional accommodation. Comfortable, clean, but lacking in homely atmosphere. Excellent location with bars , restaurants, atm and shops within meters of the hotel.

Place is nice , very central location ( perhaps too much so lol) . Feels more like a hotel even though it’s a hostel but if you looking for good central stay and aren’t bothered about socialising it’s perfect

We had a great stay with Queen cafe and pub, nice location with cute private rooms. Not too loud even though the street outside is very lively at night

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Hanoi! Everything was clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. It was easy to walk to so many great spots, which made our stay even better. Bella at the reception truly exceeded our expectations. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and was always so kind and helpful. Her recommendations for local pho and coffee were absolutely amazing — I’m still thinking about the pho!

Personalen här gjorde verkligen allt för att få mig att känna mig välkommen. Även medan jag väntade på att checka in erbjöd de mig te och pratade vänligt med mig. Frukosten var också en höjdpunkt — det fanns många valmöjligheter och allt smakade färskt. Det var det perfekta sättet att börja mina morgnar i Hanoi☕

The location couldn’t be better — right by Beer Street, so you’re close to all the action while still having a cozy place to come back to. The vibe of the hostel is warm and friendly, and it’s easy to meet people here. It felt like the perfect spot for exploring Hanoi’s nightlife and culture.

Mijn verblijf in dit hotel was geweldig, vooral dankzij de host. De host was ontzettend vriendelijk en deed echt zijn/haar best om me te helpen met het plannen van een deel van mijn reis, wat uiteindelijk geweldig uitpakte. Eerlijk gezegd is de host het hart van het hostel en zorgt die ervoor dat de plek zo gastvrij aanvoelt.

Séjourner en plein cœur du Vieux Quartier a été l’un des moments forts de mon voyage. Tout ce que je voulais découvrir — cafés, street food et marchés — était à seulement quelques minutes à pied. Je suis venu ici sur la recommandation d’un ami, et dès que je suis entré, j’ai tout de suite ressenti une ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante. Cela m’a immédiatement donné l’impression d’avoir choisi le bon endroit.

Great hostel in the old quarter. Due to it's location it is quite loud at night from the outside, so if you're a light sleeper it may cause issues. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and helpful. The common areas were fairly sparse while there, so you'll want to meet folks out and about.
