Pagalu Hostel

Woke up every morning with some weird bug bites on my feet and ankles. Towels and host showers were nice. Convenient location and central to all the action in Puerto Viejo.Mezzanine was cute.

We loved the location of Pagalu. It is town central and a short walk from beaches, bus stops, and grocery stores. It had a great kitchen that we used for most of our meals. We liked how organized the space was and enjoyed the common area. We appreciated the footwash outside to get the sand off our feet. The room itself was tidy but smelled a bit (probably from everyone storing towels and luggages in the room). The bed was clean but the walls we didn’t want to touch since they were dirty. The toilets and showers were kept very clean. While we were there, some people had bed bugs in their rooms and were moved around to other rooms. Otherwise, we loved the time and thought our stay was incredibly convenient to access beaches and stores!
